About the Role

The mission of Neural Concept’s Application Engineering team is to help our customers solve their most complex engineering

challenges. We collaborate closely with engineering and design teams within the automotive, aerospace and energy industries,

understand their challenges and pains, and help them identify solutions to accelerate their conception processes. We leverage our

platform to unlock the value of the most complex computer-aided engineering datasets and to create a direct impact on product

design processes. Using 3D deep learning and engineering intelligence, we empower our customers to develop better products faster.

As a key player in the Application Engineering Team, your mission will be to help industry leaders to redefine their product

design workflow with cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise should establish trust and admiration from our customers by

What you will do

You will run projects together with our customer’s engineering teams, analyze and process engineering data using our platform

and python libraries, and develop tailored solutions and workflows

You will apply our machine- and deep-learning workflows to different engineering/physics problems, as well as deliver

proofs-of-concept demonstrating how our technology creates value in CAD, CAE, and manufacturing.

You will train customer teams to effectively use our methods and platform, ensuring smooth AI adoption into their workflows.

You will work closely with our developers to translate customer needs and feedback into product improvements.

Who you are

You are eager to tackle real-world challenges through machine learning and automation, with a passion for reshaping how

engineering is practiced by industry leaders

You hold a Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics

You have an excellent understanding of both Engineering and Machine Learning (strict requirement)

You have strong experience with Python programming, and experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks and

libraries (strict requirement)

You have experience with simulation. Industry experience in CAD / CAE (CFD, FEM, etc) modelling is a plus

You can convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way

You have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and feel comfortable in the customer-facing role

You are fluent in English and German (preferably native)

This is not a purely technical role, and it is not a pure sales role. You drive the full pre-sales motion, from discovery to demo to signed Statement of Work, and you remain the account's technical compass through the client lifecycle, identifying and shaping expansion opportunities. We are seeking a talented Turbopump Rotordynamics Engineer to join our Future Project division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing turbopump components for high-thrust rocket engines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Making and documenting well-reasoned consequential decisions in turbomachinery design * Engage proactively with development engineers to assist in the conception, refinement, and validation of designs * Carrying out and reviewing different turbopump architectural trades * Performing various rotor dynamics analysis to inform subsequent cryogenic pump components' specifications * Performing cryogenic pump components design and procurement based on specifications and best practices * Supervision of external subcontractors and communication with suppliers * Analytical modeling of geometric and mechanical problems and implementing solutions in programs WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU * Master's Degree or higher (or NZ and AUS "Bachelor with honors") in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related and applicable technical discipline. We want you as a talented MAIT MGSE Engineer to help us in our mission by designing and delivering the MGSEs needed for the preparation of our next capsule. You will be successful in this role if you are able to help us: * Design and deliver the required MGSEs (mechanical + electro-mechanical) * Make calculation/stress analysis demonstrating good safety margins * Deliver the detailed design of the GSE (3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In your capacity as MAIT MGSE Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day duties will include: * Conceptualise, design and deliver the MGSEs that we will need for assembly or testing activities. * Confirm with mechanical analysis/hand calculations that the design is compatible with the external loads. * Support also the design of automation parts, if any (electrical motors with variators and control to move some parts). * Discuss with suppliers the MGSE designs for ease of manufacturing and with the most adequate processes. * Follow up the manufacturing with the suppliers (with the support of our supply chain in Germany) and answer the technical questions/concerns they might face. * You will support the AIT technicians to install these MGSE if needed.
