Our concept advances the most mature fusion technology out there, the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator, through two next-generation
machines: Alpha and Stellaris. Our work combines stellarator optimization, advanced computation, machine learning, and
high-temperature superconducting magnets to unlock higher-performance designs that were previously out of reach.

PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST FOR DRONES & EMBEDDED ELECTRONICS Own the supplier network, logistics and trade-compliance backbone that gets our autonomy hardware built and fielded. Your work will help strengthen Europe’s defense with real capability. ABOUT SE3 SE3 Labs is building Spatial AI by combining 3D computer vision with large language models (LLMs). We believe the ability to reason about and act within physical space is foundational to unlocking the next generation of automation, from construction to smart infrastructure, and ultimately, defense. Now, we’re building the physical platform to bring Spatial AI to life. That means high-performance, real-world robotic systems (starting with UAVs) and we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on procurement specialist who’s ready to power the foundation of these systems and have them communicate, update and perform reliably in the real world. ABOUT THE ROLE As Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll own sourcing, procurement and material planning for the hardware behind our UAV and defense systems. From standard parts and COTS electronics to designed components and contract-manufactured assemblies, you’ll make sure the right parts arrive on time, on quality and fully compliant. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues developing electronics, software, and AI together pushing to deliver vertically integrated and well-balanced solutions. Supply resilience, supplier performance, logistics and import/export execution will be your domain, and as the first dedicated owner of this function, you’ll be trusted to build the systems and supplier base we scale on. This is an on-site role with occasional travel to suppliers and partners. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON * Procure & Plan: Coordinate and execute procurement plus material planning for standard, COTS and designed parts across electronics, sensors, mechanical components and assemblies * Source the Best Options: Identify and acquire best-in-market components by translating engineering requirements into structured supplier choices, RFQs and trade-off decisions * Own Supplier Execution: Hold suppliers, contractors and contract manufacturers accountable for on-time, on-quality delivery and drive issues through to resolution * Build Resilience: Strengthen our European supply chain through on-shoring, second-sourcing, forward-thinking contracting and stockpiling * Handle Logistics & Compliance: Organize shipping and external logistics while ensuring compliant handling of customs, end-use declarations, permits, BAFA-related topics and Incoterms YOUR PROFILE * You bring 2+ years of end-to-end experience in supply chain management for embedded systems, ideally in avionics, UAVs or similarly demanding hardware * You’re skilled to rank sensors, electronics and other technical components against engineering specs and practical system needs * You communicate clearly and effectively across engineering, suppliers, logistics partners and contractors * You’re highly dependable in how you structure projects, procurement flows and data * You’re familiar with contract manufacturing, BAFA-relevant workflows and Incoterms * You speak fluent English; German is a strong plus * Most importantly, you’re structured, proactive and mission-driven. YOUR MISSION We are on a mission to push the boundaries of UAV technology. To take our operations to the next level, we are actively working to secure our Operating Certificate from the LBA. As a Flight Operations & Compliance Specialist you will support the Head of Flight Test to execute the day-to-day regulatory and compliance operations that keep our aircraft legally in the air. You will be the vital bridge between aviation regulations and our flight crew. Your job is to make safety and compliance work in real life. You will translate complex requirements into practical checklists, run workshops for our pilots, and ensure our field operations are seamless, safe, and fully audit-ready. RESPONSIBILITIES * You will lead the preparation of SORA-based applications, including ConOps drafting, ground risk calculations, and OSO evidence compilation. * Help build up, implement, and maintain our internal Flight Safety Procedures from the ground up as we march toward our LBA certification. * Maintain the Operations Manual as a living document, ensuring it reflects current equipment, personnel, and procedures. * Monitor EASA (EU) 2019/947, JARUS outputs, and national regulations. * Own the central register for remote pilots and test crew (licenses, medicals, type ratings, and SQEP designations). * Manage a 90/60/30-day expiry-tracking system to ensure zero lapses in operational currency. * Coordinate recurrent training and prepare personnel records for NAA audits and insurance reviews. * Administer the safety reporting system, ensuring mandatory logs are submitted to the NAA within legal timeframes. * Track incident investigations and corrective actions to closure. Compile Safety Performance Indicator (SPI) data for trend analysis. * Gather evidence and draft checklists to ensure alignment with the Operations Manual. * Prepare documentation for Military Permits to Fly and Experimental Certificates, including flight test plans and hazard footprints. * Manage NOTAMs, exclusion zone maps, and communication plans for flight days. * On-Site Compliance: Act as the compliance representative during test campaigns, verifying briefings and adherence to approved authorisations. QUALIFICATIONS * Degree in aerospace engineering, aviation management, aviation safety, or a related technical field. Military aviation training backgrounds are welcome. * 3–5 years experience in aviation safety, flight operations, UAS operations, or regulatory compliance. * Working knowledge of EASA Regulation (EU) 2019/947 and the SORA methodology. You may not have led a full SORA submission independently, but you understand the framework, the 10-step process, and the relationship between GRC, ARC, SAIL, and OSOs. * Experience with aviation documentation systems: operations manuals, flight logs, safety reports, or qualification records. * Familiarity with Safety Management System principles (ICAO Annex 19 or equivalent). Formal SMS training is a plus but not required if you have practical exposure. * Business-fluent English required. German is a strong advantage. * You will be exposed to regulatory complexity that most professionals encounter much later in their careers. You actively seek to understand, not just to execute. YOUR IMPACT * You own the owner-side commercial and contracts function across the Alpha programme - Proxima Fusion's first fusion demonstrator, a first-of-kind facility in the several-hundred-million-euro range. * You build the contractual and commercial framework before the major engineering and construction partners are selected: structuring how risk is allocated, how scope is defined, and how change is governed. * Working at the intersection of engineering, legal, and procurement, you translate technical scope into contract language and ensure the owner-side team can govern external parties effectively across the full project lifecycle. * As the programme scales across infrastructure, specialist plant, and equipment supply chains, you are the central commercial interface - coordinating across project owners from infrastructure and manufacturing, and serving as the primary counterpart to the procurement team. * Your work directly shapes whether the programme can move fast and stay in control as complexity grows.
