Our entry-level consultants jumpstart their careers with the First Year Graduate Experience: our year-long program that starts with Thoughtworks University, starts with a four-week immersive training in India. Attendance is mandatory, as this in-person experience is an essential part of the program. Candidates must be available to travel and stay in India for the full duration of this initial phase. Once participants return to their home country, the program continues with monthly sessions dedicated to specific topics and ongoing development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * You will pair to write clean and iterative code using practices like TDD, SOLID principles, OO design and pair programming * You will use continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed * You will work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences and create meaningful change for a variety of clients * Learn, digest and subsequently apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems * Tackle a variety of challenges for clients of all industries, while collaborating with new teammates from diverse backgrounds JOB QUALIFICATIONS TECHNICAL SKILLS * You have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, up to 1 year of professional experience, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. * You understand analysis, coding and object-oriented concepts. * You have a basic conceptual understanding of data modeling. * You have awareness of clean-code concepts and practices. * Conceptual knowledge of or exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks is a plus. * You have working knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries.   PROFESSIONAL SKILLS * You thrive in a collaborative, flat environment that values transparency, openness, feedback and change * You have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge as well as a desire to create meaningful solutions for business problems * You're resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach challenges from multiple perspectives * Our interviews and work environment use English as the primary language. About the job Build the software that helps machine learning developers get more from Graphcore hardware. As a Graduate Software Engineer in our Triton team, you will help connect Graphcore accelerators with the ML frameworks developers use every day. Your work will make our software easier to use, more reliable and more performant for real AI workloads. You will learn how compilers, frameworks and hardware interact in a production engineering setting.  You will contribute to features, tests, documentation, code reviews and performance improvements across a complex codebase. You will be supported by experienced engineers while taking ownership of meaningful work early. This role suits a curious graduate who wants to grow deep technical skills and see their code make a practical difference.   The Team & Culture The Frameworks team makes Graphcore hardware work smoothly with tools such as PyTorch, Triton, JAX and TensorFlow. The team sits close to compilers, runtime software and hardware, so you will learn from different technical perspectives. Work is organised through SCRUM, with clear priorities, regular feedback and shared accountability. You will own well-scoped tasks, ask questions early and build confidence through reviews, testing and documentation. Decisions are shaped by technical evidence, user impact and open discussion.
