We partner with financial services and private markets clients to design and implement solutions that enhance financial decision-making through technology-driven transformation.  Role Overview  As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-enabled FP&A transformations. You will leverage Pigment to help clients reimagine their planning, reporting, and analysis processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.  You’ll lead or support delivery teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and help build the Pigment delivery capability within the EPM practice—bringing tailored solutions to the financial services and alternative investments sectors.  Responsibilities  * Conduct discovery sessions to understand client planning processes and identify challenges aligned to Pigment’s capabilities. * Design, configure, and implement Pigment-based solutions for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation, deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations and facilitate solution workshops. * Partner with sales, product, and customer success teams to support pre-sales engagements and ensure successful post-sale implementations. * Lead strategic engagements for high-value accounts with complex financial reporting or multi-entity requirements. * Provide functional expertise in accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. * Develop client-facing deliverables including project plans, functional/technical specs, and polished presentations. * Analyze financial and operational data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations. * Lead and mentor consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development within the team.  Qualifications  * 5-7+ years of consulting or FP&A transformation experience, ideally within financial services or private markets. * Experience delivering or supporting Pigment implementations (preferred) or other EPM platforms (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle, SAP BPC). * Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and consolidation processes. * Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage delivery teams. * Excellent communication and presentation skills with a client-first mindset. * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Technology-related field. * Technical experience in data modeling and multi-dimensional planning environments is a plus.  Compensation and Benefits  * Learning and development: Vast opportunities to self-development, unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning * Flexible working: Work-life balance with flexible schedule * Community events: We offer a range of social events and meetups * 25 days’ holiday in addition to public holidays * Supplemented medical, dental and vision coverage * 401(k) with employer match * Wellness initiatives to promote healthy working, including an allowance for remote working technology * Access to discounted travel, tickets, events, and more through our benefit partner  There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $130,000 – $160,000 USD for US-based hires and $150,000 – $170,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.

Responsibilities * End-to-end controllership for assigned legal entity(ies), including financial close, statutory reporting, audit readiness, regulatory filings, and adoption with the board or local management * Preparation and sign-off of statutory financial statements and coordination of statutory adoption processes with local boards and directors and external advisors * Manage external auditors and local service providers, setting scope, driving timelines, resolving findings, and maintaining high-quality documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, leading complex journal entries, reconciliations, technical accounting assessments, variance analysis, and executive reporting packages * Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of entity-level accounting policies and internal control frameworks, and own SOX and internal control compliance and remediation where applicable * Serve as the primary business partner to Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and regional finance teams on transactions and policy changes that affect the entity's accounting, tax, and regulatory outcomes * Identify, prioritize, and deliver process improvements and automation initiatives that materially increase accuracy, speed, or scalability of entity accounting (RPA, ERP configuration, reporting pipelines, templates, or tooling) * Resolve technical accounting questions and apply US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP judgment — escalate to central technical accounting teams when needed with well-formed recommendations * Provide coaching and mentorship to more junior accounting teammates, and lead cross-functional projects and working groups to improve operating models * Act as a subject-matter expert for entity-level reporting requests, internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and management escalations QUALIFICATIONS * Professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant controllership exposure * Deep hands-on experience with monthly and year-end close, statutory financial statement preparation, external audits, regulatory filings, and variance analysis * Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and experience applying local GAAP and converging treatments across frameworks * Demonstrated experience owning internal control programs (SOX or similar) and executing control design and remediation * Track record of delivering automation or process simplification at the entity level (ERP, reconciliation tooling, reporting pipeline improvements) * Strong technical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel ability, and experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workiva, Blackline, or similar). Job overview: The Manager, Finance Operations will lead the day-to-day management, optimization, and control of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities across Compass Pathways' UK and US operations.
