ABOUT THE ROLE The Logistics Officer owns the daily inbound and outbound logistics function across Harmattan AI’s two French sites — the Wissous production facility and the Paris engineering office. Reporting to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead, the role operates with significant autonomy: independently managing freight flows, customs compliance, dangerous goods, and international trade requirements without requiring hand-holding on routine decisions. This is not a pure execution role. The Logistics Officer brings senior operational experience and the judgement to run the function independently day-to-day — escalating where needed, but owning the full logistics picture between escalations. The right candidate has seen enough complexity — military goods, DG shipments, ITAR — to handle it confidently and knows when something requires attention from the Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES Inbound Logistics * Own inbound freight flows for both sites — booking, tracking, customs clearance, and goods receipt for components, materials, and equipment * Proactively manage supplier and forwarder relationships to resolve delays and protect the Wissous production schedule * Process import documentation, verify HS/CN classification, and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure clean clearance * Escalate supply disruptions and compliance flags to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead with structured context and a proposed resolution Outbound Logistics * Manage outbound shipments to customers, integrators, programme offices, demonstrations, and trade events — from booking through to proof of delivery * Prepare complete export documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, and end-user certificates * Manage temporary export regimes and ATA carnets for demonstration and event shipments, including tracking and timely return * Independently assess ITAR, EAR, and EU/French dual-use export control requirements for each outbound shipment — applying the correct treatment and flagging licence requirements before despatch Dangerous Goods * Independently classify, prepare, and document dangerous goods shipments under ADR, IATA DGR, and IMDG — lithium batteries (UN 3480/3481), propellants, and other regulated materials * Ensure packaging, labelling, marking, and documentation are correct on every DG movement without requiring supervision * Monitor freight partner compliance with DG handling standards and raise issues to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead Customs & Trade Compliance * Apply confident working knowledge of HS/CN tariff codes, incoterms, and customs regimes to ensure accurate and complete declarations * Maintain full compliance records — export licences, end-user certificates, DG records, and customs documentation — to audit standard * Stay current on changes to ITAR, EAR, EU dual-use regulations, and customs procedures relevant to Harmattan AI’s trade lanes Site Coordination & Continuous Improvement * Coordinate goods flows between Wissous and Paris, ensuring accurate stock transfers, documentation, and storage standards for military hardware and dangerous goods * Identify process gaps, recurring issues, or compliance risks in the logistics function and bring structured improvement proposals to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead * Work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to align logistics priorities with operational needs CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Essential * 5+ years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain in a regulated industry — defence, aerospace, advanced electronics, or similar * Able to operate the inbound/outbound logistics function independently — making sound daily decisions on customs, DG, and compliance without close supervision * Solid hands-on knowledge of customs documentation: HS/CN classification, import/export declarations, incoterms, and freight procedures across Europe, the US, and the Middle East * Direct working experience with ITAR, EAR, and EU/French dual-use export control regulations applied to physical shipments * Certified and experienced in dangerous goods — IATA DGR, ADR, or equivalent — with specific experience on lithium batteries and military-relevant materials * Familiarity with military goods logistics: packaging, marking, documentation, and transport standards for defence hardware * Detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and calm under time pressure * Fluent French and English, written and spoken Preferred * Experience with temporary export regimes, ATA carnets, and trade event logistics * Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems (Odoo or equivalent) * Experience coordinating logistics across multiple sites We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.

ABOUT THE ROLE As we scale our production and supply chain capabilities, we are looking for Operational Buyers to join our Supply Chain team. This role sits at the interface between planning and procurement — you will be the execution engine ensuring components are on time, data is accurate, and suppliers are held accountable. RESPONSIBILITIES * Translate production requirements into supplier purchase orders, in close coordination with Supply Planners. * Create, issue and track purchase orders (POs) from placement to delivery within Odoo. * Monitor deliveries proactively and anticipate supply risks — follow up with suppliers, escalate when needed. * Negotiate operational conditions with existing suppliers: lead times, MOQ, delivery terms. * Maintain accurate master data in the ERP (lead times, MOQ, pricing) — you own data quality for your perimeter. * Coordinate with planning, project and operations teams to ensure component availability. * Support new supplier onboarding in collaboration with category buyers. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * 3 to 5 years of experience in operational purchasing or procurement, ideally in an industrial or high-tech environment. * Proficiency with an ERP system — Odoo preferred, or equivalent (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics). * Strong attention to detail and rigor in data management and order tracking. * Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Good communication skills — regular interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders. * Fluent in French and English (international environment). * Experience in defense, aeronautics or industrial electronics is a plus. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Materials Manager, you will design and execute a strategic roadmap to optimize our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for establishing standard performance metrics, driving continuous improvement, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities all while maintaining a high level of quality. The ideal candidate is an autonomous leader with deep supply chain expertise, has developed and implemented SOPs, implemented or improved ERP/WMS, and a proven track record of scaling high-performing teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design and execute a comprehensive strategic roadmap to optimize and streamline our warehouse and inventory operations. * Implement End-to-End material management measures, including FIFO adherence, material variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence management, cycle/physical counting, and audits, etc., to ensure inventory accuracy and to mitigate stockouts or overstocking. This includes the development & improvement of critical metrics. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, engineering, logistics, and quality, to aid in accurate demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery of materials. * Develop and implement robust SOPs to drive operational efficiency, consistency, and continuous process improvement. * Utilize and oversee the implementation, integration, or optimization of ERP and WMS software platforms to enhance material-related processes. * Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities across the supply chain while maintaining a high level of quality and safety. * Manage and safeguard high-tech inventory to ensure maximum accuracy, mitigate stockouts, and maintain optimized stock levels. * Lead and develop a high-performing logistics and warehouse team through recruitment, mentorship, and a culture of excellence. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles in a manufacturing environment * 2+ years of experience managing a lead of supervisors, associates or operators Preferred Qualifications: * Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals * Strong understanding for receiving and deployment documentation for domestic and international shipments * Ability to identify safety issues with warehouse vehicles to ensure safe operations * Experience being hands-on and boots on the ground in the warehouse with proven skills in both process and equipment troubleshooting, and ability to adapt to constantly changing warehouse environments * Passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing both new hires and veteran warehouse staff * Strong understanding for receiving and deployment documentation for domestic and international shipments * Ability to identify safety issues with warehouse vehicles to ensure safe operations * Experience supporting process development and implementing new processes * Experience supporting equipment maintenance * Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles * Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications) and ability to present data * Reliable, organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal & written communication skills in French and English * Experience in ramping low volume operations to high rate * Forklift certification We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
