SYNOPSIS: This position is primarily responsible for supporting the preventative maintenance and basic hardware error troubleshooting of the automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). The AS/RS Technician I will be expected to read system schematics and collaborate with logistics personnel and Viastore hotline support to assist in resolving system errors. This role includes documenting maintenance activities, error resolutions, and work orders in the facility’s CMMS software system. The AS/RS Technician I may also assist with general facility maintenance tasks as prioritized by the Facilities Manager. All facilities personnel are expected to perform their duties in a manner that ensures the safety of themselves and all employees. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in the preventative maintenance of the distribution center’s AS/RS & conveyor equipment * Perform routine scheduled work orders on various pieces of equipment throughout the logistics automation system * Identify, troubleshoot & correct logistics system failures to support the warehouse team * Work with OEM (Viastore & other sub-contractors) to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to system errors * Document and communicate the use of all spare parts for appropriate replenishment * Maintain statistics & reports on system’s performance as needed * Communicate with sub-contractors (suppliers) for system upgrades, failures, and / or repairs, as needed * Provide awareness training of warehouse team leaders on system errors and troubleshooting of routine failures * Responsible to maintain & update the preventative maintenance schedule in facilities CMMS software tool * Participate in Logistics Planning shift meetings as needed * Document “history logs” within the CMMS maintenance software for tracking work and add to the knowledge base for others’ awareness * At times, perform general facilities maintenance tasks as time permits and prioritized by the facilities manager * Follow all OSHA and company safety rules in all maintenance procedures * Follow all environmental guidelines when using / disposing of materials QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED. * Five (3-5) years’ experience in large logistics facility maintenance operations. * Ability to read and use engineering drawings. * Good understanding of controls and automated systems * Good decision-making skills. * Computer experience in Microsoft Office preferred. * Ability to prioritize workload. * Demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with others, build relationships, and involve others in decision making. * Demonstrates the ability to deliver results by solving or supporting others in solving problems, prioritizing tasks, and/or resources, and focusing on outcomes. * Demonstrates self-awareness and the willingness to learn and grow, accept changes, and effectively adapt to changing work demands. * Demonstrates the ability to drive customer value through knowledge of the business, putting effort into identifying customer needs, and delivering work to maximize the value for customers. * Demonstrates a willingness to promote the value of improvement and innovation by staying ahead of trends, creating ideas and opportunities, and generating speed. * Demonstrates a willingness to take ownership by making decisions, taking responsibility, and driving things forward. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled security professional to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) as a SOC Operator. The SOC Operator is responsible for assisting personnel with all concerns that pertain to safety and security for locations around the globe. This role requires the ability to operate at the tactical and operational levels, managing and supporting highly confidential operations. The SOC Operator will utilize an integrated security platform, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to analyze and communicate potential threats to people, property, and brand assets. Job Summary The Mechatronics Technician II contributes to production performance and training, in addition to equipment management and implementation. Working with engineering and quality, supports the production team in achieving established targets and assures customer satisfaction. The Mechatronics Technician II will modify, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, equipment, and systems to ensure proper functioning. Responsibilities * Supports technical production performance, training, and resources. * Monitors and analyzes equipment performance and optimizes machine performance for efficient production. * Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and interprets various mechanical and electrical aspects of automatic and semi-automatic equipment, such as mechanical and pneumatic, PLC, and PC-based driven systems. * Understands quality standards and controls quality revisions and non-conformances. * Coordinates machine enhancements, improvements, and development with machine build and Manufacturing Engineering department. * Designs mechanical tooling drawings when required in AutoCAD and coordinates purchases from local tooling suppliers. * Completes machine qualification testing and documentation for new equipment. * Establishes and maintains spare parts list and spare parts system to support equipment. * Establishes and manages preventative maintenance programs on all automatic and semi-automatic equipment. * Works closely with all manufacturing personnel and provides technical support. * Understands department processes, including material flow, planning initiatives, and strategy. Recommends improvements for material disposition and order sequencing. * Follows necessary PPE requirements, appropriate ISO specifications and company procedures. * Utilizes quality tools and continuous improvement techniques to improve department targets. * Other duties as assigned.
