ROLE OVERVIEW As a member of our Flagship Team, you will bring to life the distinctive Polène universe, attracting local and international, high-end clientele. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about luxury leather goods and committed to delivering exceptional service every day. Our flagship store in SoHo requires experienced individuals capable of exceeding the expectations of our discerning customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CREATING THE POLÈNE EXPERIENCE * Proactively engage with customers to positively impact conversion rates, ensuring each visitor feels welcomed, valued, and eager to return. * Guide and assist clients throughout their entire purchasing journey, delivering exemplary service from greeting to farewell. * Offer personalized and attentive experiences by identifying needs and embodying Polène’s standards. * Encourage additional sales by mastering and communicating our services during and after each purchase. * Drive brand loyalty through strategic clienteling, maintaining a detailed digital book to provide personalized outreach and bespoke styling advice that extends the relationship beyond the initial visit. CASH MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT * Manage opening and closing procedures for registers and accurately process transactions. * Support CRM initiatives through client follow-up and contribute to daily boutique reporting. * Maintain the boutique’s presentation, including merchandising, sales floor organization, and helping stockists with inventory and storage. BOUTIQUE OPENING & CLOSING * Prepare the store pre-opening: activate lighting, equipment, and music; verify merchandising; and restock bags and materials. * Complete end-of-day closing: process telecollections, secure registers, send reports, deactivate lighting and equipment, adjust displays, organize materials, and turn off music. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Minimum 3 years’ experience working with high-end, local and international clientele in a luxury or leather goods retail setting. * Deep appreciation for our products, craftsmanship, and leather artistry, with a passion for sharing this with clients. * Strong team player with a collaborative and positive spirit. * Personable, with excellent interpersonal skills and initiative to cultivate meaningful client relationships. * Exceptional service orientation with rigor, proactivity, and meticulous attention to detail. * Autonomous, adaptable, and resilient—capable of thriving in a high-traffic boutique environment. * Fluency in English required; additional language proficiency is a plus. * Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Stockist, you are a vital member of our boutique team, ensuring that our store reflects the distinctive Polène universe and operates with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, supporting product flow, and partnering closely with the sales team to ensure that every client interaction reflects the excellence of our brand. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the boutique and contributes directly to delivering a seamless and elevated experience for our high-end, local, and international clientele. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CHAMPION THE POLÈNE EXPERIENCE * Manage incoming and outgoing product flows: receive deliveries, follow inventory procedures, store merchandise efficiently, and optimize stockroom space. * Act as a liaison between the sales team and stockroom, delivering requested items to the sales floor or directly to clients in a timely and professional manner. * Communicate regularly with both supply chain headquarters and the boutique team regarding overstock or stockout situations. * Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the stockroom and storage areas. * Support replenishment efforts to ensure product availability and a seamless client experience. CONTRIBUTE TO STORE PERFORMANCE * Prepare and manage inter-boutique product transfers while supporting collaboration between boutiques through clear communication and information sharing. * Organize and participate in regular cycle counts and fiscal inventories; research and resolve inventory discrepancies using company systems. * Rotate across product categories and storage zones, developing a strong understanding of Polène collections. * Maintain awareness of personal objectives and proactively propose action plans to support store goals. * Collaborate with the sales team to ensure optimal product availability for clients. * Support operational excellence by adhering to inventory procedures and stockroom standards. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Minimum 2 years of experience serving high-end, local, and international clientele in a similar capacity, ideally within luxury retail, premium retail, or leather goods. * Highly autonomous and adaptable with strong energy, able to handle busy retail environments. * Deep appreciation for craftsmanship and leatherworking, expressed with enthusiasm to clients and colleagues. * Collaborative team player with a supportive mindset. * Resourceful and composed under pressure, able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Experience with inventory management and stockroom operations preferred. * Weekend, holiday, and peak-season availability is required. RESPONSABILITÀ Creare l'Esperienza Polène * Adottare l'approccio giusto per influenzare attivamente il tasso di conversione, assicurando che ogni nuovo visitatore si senta accolto, apprezzato e desideroso di tornare. * Consigliare e assistere i clienti durante il loro percorso d'acquisto, offrendo un servizio di qualità dall'accoglienza alla partenza. * Offrire esperienze clienti personalizzate ed eccellenti, affrontando attentamente le esigenze e esemplificando l'immagine di Polène. * Promuovere e incoraggiare vendite aggiuntive, padroneggiando e informando i clienti sui nostri servizi durante e dopo gli acquisti. Gestione della Cassa e Altri Compiti * Gestire l'apertura e la chiusura delle casse e processare le transazioni. * Sviluppare il follow-up clienti CRM e partecipare alla redazione del report quotidiano del negozio. * Garantire la manutenzione del negozio, incluso il merchandising, il mantenimento dell'area di vendita e il supporto agli stockisti con compiti di organizzazione e inventario. Apertura e Chiusura del Negozio * Preparare il negozio prima dell'apertura: attivare l'illuminazione, le attrezzature, la musica, verificare il merchandising e rifornire le borse per lo shopping. * Chiudere il negozio dopo l'orario di chiusura: avviare le telecollette, mettere in sicurezza le casse, inviare i report, disattivare l'illuminazione e le attrezzature, regolare il * merchandising in base allo stock, organizzare i materiali e spegnere la musica. LE NOSTRE ASPETTATIVE * Almeno 2 anni di esperienza nel coinvolgimento con una clientela internazionale e di alta gamma in un ruolo simile, preferibilmente nei settori del lusso e/o della pelletteria. * Elevata sensibilità verso i nostri prodotti, l'artigianato e l'arte della pelle, con la capacità di condividere questa passione con i clienti. * Facile integrazione in un team, dimostrando uno spirito collaborativo e di supporto. * Un atteggiamento amichevole con naturale facilità relazionale, prendendo sempre l'iniziativa per creare e guidare interazioni significative con la nostra clientela esigente. * Una forte orientamento al servizio, unita a rigore, proattività e meticolosa attenzione ai dettagli. * Autonomia, adattabilità e resilienza per gestire efficacemente l'alto traffico del negozio.
