About the Role As Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating the performance, reliability, and operational readiness of our autonomous defense systems. You will lead test campaigns on our own systems to inform internal development and maintain a competitive edge. Responsibilities * System Testing: Plan and execute validation & verification of defense systems (drone, payload...) in simulated and real-world conditions. * Flight Test Campaigns: Design and conduct rigorous test for new features, hardware configurations, and software releases. * Test Protocols: Define, document, and refine structured test procedures. * Data Analysis: Capture and interpret telemetry, logs, and test outcomes to assess system behavior and recommend design improvements hand-in-hand with the R&D. * Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, software, and systems teams to support debugging and iteration based on test outcomes. Candidate Requirements * 2–5 years of experience in validation on aerospace or robotic systems, or embedded robotics. * Solid understanding of methodology for rigorous testing and validation of technical system * Wide engineering culture around flight dynamics, control systems, avionics, and/or RF systems. * Comfortable designing and executing structured test protocols. * Experience with DVT/PVT phases and environmental testing methodologies. * Strong statistical analysis skills to interpret test data and validate reliability. * Bonus: Pilot certification, experience with military or industrial drone platforms. * Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills. * Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward success. À PROPOS DU POSTE En tant que Technicien(ne) Validation Systèmes Drone & Télépilote, vous êtes un pilier essentiel de nos opérations de vol. Vous veillez à ce que notre flotte de drones autonomes soit opérationnelle, à jour et prête à être déployée à tout moment. Vous serez en charge de la gestion du laboratoire de validation et du support aux ingénieurs lors de campagnes d’essais terrain complexes. RESPONSABILITÉS MAINTENANCE DE LA FLOTTE * Réaliser la maintenance préventive et corrective de la flotte de drones. * Effectuer les réparations, mises à niveau et remplacements de composants. * Réaliser des opérations de soudure, câblage et assemblage mécanique. OPÉRATIONS DE VOL * Piloter les drones lors des campagnes d’essais. * Assurer le rôle d’opérateur sécurité pendant les vols de test. LOGISTIQUE * Gérer les stocks de pièces détachées, batteries et équipements terrain. * Organiser le transport et la préparation du matériel pour les campagnes d’essais. EXÉCUTION DES TESTS * Exécuter des protocoles de test standardisés (checklists). * Reporter les résultats et anomalies aux équipes d’ingénierie. GESTION DU LABORATOIRE * Maintenir l’atelier et le laboratoire de validation propres, organisés et sécurisés. * Veiller à la disponibilité des outils, consommables et équipements nécessaires. PROFIL RECHERCHÉ * Formation technique ou expérience significative en électronique, mécanique ou modélisme RC. * Très bonne dextérité manuelle : soudure, câblage, assemblage mécanique. * Profil rigoureux, organisé et sensible aux enjeux de sécurité. * Expérience en pilotage de drones multirotors ou à voilure fixe (certification appréciée). * Fort intérêt pour le DIY / bricolage technique. * Niveau d’anglais A2 minimum. * Disponibilité pour des déplacements dans le cadre des essais terrain. About the Role As a System Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture, system definition, and strategic implementation for our entire portfolio of robotic systems, from long-term vision to field deployment, collaborating closely with executive leadership and technical leads, and forming a critical partnership with the Product Manager to ensure efficiency; this pivotal role drives strategic programs like Anti-drone warfare, ISR and strike systems, Equipment fusion (especially aeronautics), or C2 and IA. Responsibilities * System-of-Systems Design & Strategy: Translate complex strategic goals into global, system-of-systems designs, defining and championing the overall system architecture strategy across the enterprise. * Architectural Sizing & Verification: Ensure all systems meet defined needs and are correctly sized through rigorous verification of scope, complex system-of-systems simulations, and precise system sizing, guiding major technical investments. * Coordination and Technical Leadership: Coordinate large multidisciplinary engineering organizations, providing overarching technical leadership across cross-functional design efforts (mechanical, electrical, software, GNC, ML, product), ensuring long-term performance, robustness, and strategic reliability across the enterprise. * Specification & Integration Governance: Govern system integration standards and validation processes, contributing to the complex process of specification management by ensuring all architectural prerequisites are met and driving multi-system architecture reviews for enterprise design consistency. * Continuous Improvement: Implement and institutionalize processes to enhance requirements traceability, system documentation standards, and validation workflows across the entire engineering organization. Candidate Requirements * 10+ years of experience in system engineering or architecture, with significant time in a senior or lead role. * MSc in Engineering (any field); PhD is a plus. * Specific Domain: Experience in the defense sector is mandatory, and drones are a big plus. * Strong knowledge in one of those specializations: * C2 (Command and Control) & AI * ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) * Strike UAV, loitering munitions * Anti-drone warfare * UAV equipments & fusion * Expert in defining and leading the full lifecycle of complex, multi-system and system-of-systems architectures. * Strategic, analytical, and mission-driven with expertise in strategic requirements engineering and high-level trade-off analysis. * Deep engineering understanding across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and enterprise software systems. * Experience coordinating large, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations and managing complex technical/strategic interfaces. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
