Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M
Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to
allied forces.
Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting
ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and
execution are expected.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, your main role will be to design and develop electronic boards and embedded systems (SoM) for UAVs
(e.g., Flight Controllers, Companion Computers, Electronic Speed Controllers).
Responsibilities
systems based on processors, fast memory (DDR, Flash), and peripherals (e.g. embedded computers/calculators, sensors, video
processing…).
design specifications, managing fast signal constraints.
the final product.
sensor integration.
design requirements.
Candidate Requirements
junior members to senior executives.
operational excellence.
We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
About Dioxycle Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year, representing over 2% of the world's emissions. At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our industrial-scale electrolyzer prototype, we are now working with our chemical and downstream offtakers towards First-of-a-kind plant deployment and subsequent commercial roll-out. We are supported by world-class funders including Bill-Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital and Gigascale Capital and have raised $40M to date. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you are passionate about outdoors or good food/art scenes, we have a location for you to join!) Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a hands-on Automation & Electrical Engineer to join our hardware team. You'll be working directly on the control systems that operate our electrolyzer stacks - programming PLCs, maintaining wiring and instrumentation, and helping us build a scalable deployment architecture as we grow from 40 systems to many more. This is a role for someone who loves being close to the hardware, is comfortable picking up new tools quickly, and wants to see the direct impact of their work on real physical systems. You'll have real ownership over a critical part of our systems, at a moment when the team and the fleet are both growing fast. The problems are hard, the impact is direct, and the work is never boring. Your key responsibilities will center around: - Program and maintain PLC-based control systems (Beckhoff) on our lab and field electrolyzer units. This covers lab-scale test units of small and medium size but also includes onsite industrial-scale pilots (that are so big you need to lift them with a crane) - Wire, install, and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, and electrical panels - Work with our team to configure new systems and contribute to how we standardize deployments going forward - Collaborate with Dioxycle's software engineers to integrate HMI graphics with control logic - Participate in the retrofitting of legacy systems with new-generation PLCs - Occasionally interface with existing C-based code on older systems We're open to a few different profiles - what matters is curiosity, hands-on instinct, and a real interest in automation work. Experience with PLCs is a huge plus.

Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Process CAD Engineer to join our team at a pivotal phase of transition from R&D to industrial piloting and early commercial deployment. We are looking for a technically rigorous and execution-oriented engineer with deep expertise in AutoCAD (P&IDs, Plant 3D, BOM integration) and strong fundamentals in process engineering. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around: - Own the development, drafting, and continuous improvement of P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Own the development of layout, plots plans and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D - Ensure strong integration between P&IDs, 3D models, line lists, equipment lists, and generally engineering/procurement documentation - Size process lines (gas and liquid) and core equipment based on process requirements - Perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications and datasheets - Interface with vendors and suppliers - Help structure and standardize Dioxycle’s engineering workflow We seek a Process (CAD) Engineer who is dedicated to advancing our mission and possesses the skills outlined below. Candidates with a minimum of four years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a candidate who is based in, or open to relocating, to Paris, France.
