We're looking for a Legal Intern in the Legal - Commercial & IP Department at Voodoo, running from July to December 2026
TEAM
Our Legal teams support the company’s performance and growth whilst putting people at the core of everything they do. As a French
tech leader and global successful company, our Legal teams are constantly looking for ways to innovate and increase organization
efficiency to keep Voodoo ahead of the market. Voodoo’s Corporate function is composed of five teams: HR, Talent acquisition,
Legal, M&A and Finance, working together to drive Voodoo’s success.
You will be part of a whip-smart group of in-house lawyers and the projects and cases you take on challenge you to think big and
differently. You will be part of a collaborative team that is ready to partner in initiatives that influence all aspects of the
business and willing to go the extra mile.
ROLE
As a Legal Intern in the Commercial team, you will play a key role in supporting the operational teams by addressing their legal
needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing IP protection and infringement issues, including trademark registrations, takedown requests, and pre-litigation or
litigation cases in France and abroad.
* Contributing actively to the company’s strategy to strengthen the protection of its games and apps in an evolving legal
environment.
* Drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements for publishing, marketing, and gaming teams. This includes publishing
contracts, user acquisition and monetization agreements, service contracts, and partnership deals.
PROFILE
* Fluency in English and French required
* A first successful experience as intern in a law firm or in the legal commercial department of a company
* Knowledge of IP law (copyright, trademarks, designs) is a plus
* You master the Office Pack and demonstrate rigor, diplomacy and a sense of confidentiality
* Sense of listening, availability, ability to work in a team, and a good sense of humor will be great assets for a successful

ROLE
Voodoo’s Corporate function is composed of five teams: HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, M&A and Finance, working together to drive
Voodoo’s success.
Responsibilities
* Support the HR team to ensure compliance with labor regulations within the organization in France and abroad (> 20 countries)
* Help performing legal analysis of operational practices
* Provide legal support to our HR Specialist with respect to onboarding / offboarding and daily labor matters
* Prepare regular updates on legal changes
* Map legal obligations towards employee representatives (CSE) in particular with respect to regular consultation processes
* Prepare invites, agendas and as the case may be information notes to be delivered to employee reps; attend CSE meetings
* Participate in the preparation of company collective agreements or policies
CONTRACT
* 6 months internship starting in January 2026.
* For Bar Student PPI more than welcome.
* No relocation program.
PROFILE

ROLE
6-month internship as part of your training at the French Bar School (École de Formation du Barreau, EFB), within the Legal team,
reporting to the Head of Legal - Regulatory. You will work alongside the lawyers in charge of regulatory compliance, on concrete
matters for products used by over 200 million people. Your responsabilities :
* Records of processing and DPIAs: help maintain compliance documentation and the records of processing activities, and support
data protection impact assessments.
* Substantive work: work on all various data related topics across the verticals of gaming and social media (new features, AB
tests, etc.).
* Regulatory monitoring: track developments in GDPR and US data protection laws (CCPA, COPPA...).
* Documentation: draft and update privacy policies, notices, and internal training materials.
* Data subject rights: handle requests to exercise rights (access, erasure, objection).
* Regulator relations: support communications with the CNIL and the EDPB, and follow up on ongoing matters.
* Digital regulation: games and platforms.
PROFILE
* Trainee lawyer enrolled at the French Bar School (EFB), 6-month internship as part of your PPI (individual training project)
* Prior experience in tech law or data protection (internship, apprenticeship) is a plus
* Strong command of GDPR
* Strong knowledge of US data protection laws (CCPA, VCDPA, COPPA)
* Strong interest in digital regulation
* Strong interest in tech and gaming
* Rigorous, autonomous, able to summarize complex topics
* Fluency in English and French required
