to let that happen. Aphex builds the orchestration layer the world's major construction projects run on, and AI is central to
where we take it next. This role is for someone who wants to be at the heart of that, not just shipping AI features, but helping
shape how an entire industry puts AI to work.
You'll start hands-on, building and shipping our AI features in the real product. From there it grows. As you learn what works,
you'll help set the standard for how we build, evaluate and monitor AI across Aphex. Practical first, then broadening into the
bigger picture.

project data. Building AI features is one thing. Keeping them genuinely working once real users depend on them is what turns a

Are you passionate about designing innovative, high-impact creative solutions for global brands? As a Senior Designer at Smartly, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and refining creative assets for Display and Social campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with Art Directors, Developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that are both visually compelling and strategically aligned with campaign goals. You’ll work hands-on with Smartly’s creative tools and processes to produce innovative templates, motion designs, and flexible design systems that drive client success. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be the primary technical partner for our AI Transformation team. While they identify strategic AI opportunities, you are responsible for the execution—building the connectors, agents, and interfaces that allow our internal teams to leverage AI in their daily work. You will serve as a bridge between technical solutions and operational excellence. Your core responsibility involves identifying areas of inefficiency and disjointed processes ("silos") and resolving them by developing intelligent workflows, scalable internal tools, and effective code to ensure smooth, integrated operations. AS A SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER AT SMARTLY, YOU WILL... * Partner with AI Transformation team: Collaborate with the AI Transformation team to productize AI and automation prototypes, ensuring that new tools and agentic capabilities are successfully integrated into internal business processes. * Orchestrate Internal Automations: Build and maintain a wide variety of internal tools and workflows for most teams across the company; these solutions range from traditional API-based automations to complex AI agentic workflows. * Modernize Internal Systems: Develop and scale the internal tools and processes that enable teams to move faster, utilizing a blend of AI-driven agents and standard programmatic automations to solve operational needs. * Own the Backend: Maintain and expand our internal microservices architecture, primarily running on TypeScript and NodeJS. * Cloud Infrastructure Management: Independently manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure (we primarily use Google Cloud Platform), ensuring our internal tools and AI services are performant, secure, and scalable. * Build Service Integrations: Act as the master of APIs, integrating disparate internal and external services (Salesforce, Slack, Big Query, data warehouse etc.) to create seamless data flows for both users and AI agents. Your Role: A senior leader to co-own Dedale's data function — leading our 20-person data production team in Cebu and partnering with our Data Engineering Lead in Paris. Our data is frontline and paramount to our core Product. You'll set what “excellence in Data & Intelligence” means at Dedale, own the operational backbone behind every dataset we ship, and scale how we produce intelligence as we grow. You set the standard across our flagship intelligence products: * Deep company profiles — anchored in expert interviews — on B2B software and tech-enabled services companies * Financials, ownership, deals and team analytics on companies in our coverage * Proprietary benchmarks built from structured customer and alumni data points * Open-source and research team production enrichment streams (web, LinkedIn, public sources, expert interviews, formal desk research…) that feed all of the above You also lead and scale the Cebu-based team that produces this intelligence. You design the workflows, quality rubrics and AI-augmented rituals that let us multiply output without losing rigor. This role is hands-on with the content: you read the data, challenge it, redesign the frameworks behind it — and own the teams that ships it. Your Responsibility: * Own the quality, accuracy, and scalability of Dedale’s intelligence datasets, company profiles, and research outputs for PE, M&A, and corporate strategy clients * Serve as the final quality gate for flagship deliverables, defining and monitoring standards for completeness, freshness, accuracy, and classification quality * Design and evolve research methodologies, interview frameworks, taxonomies, and intelligence structures across B2B software and tech-enabled services * Build scalable processes to transform unstructured research, interview, and market data into structured, queryable intelligence datasets * Define sourcing, validation, enrichment, and signal-generation priorities aligned with deal sourcing, diligence, and strategic decision-making use cases * Lead and scale an APAC-based data and research operations team, driving execution, operational cadence, and performance management * Own operational KPIs including throughput, SLA adherence, audit quality, dataset freshness, and customer-reported issues * Drive the effective integration of AI/LLM workflows across research, extraction, classification, summarisation, and quality review processes * Partner closely with Product, Research, Commercial, and Engineering teams on roadmap priorities, tooling, hiring, and long-term data strategy * Co-lead the Data function alongside the Data Lead Engineer as Dedale expands across sectors and geographies Your Qualifications Across the firm, we attract motivated, intellectually curious, and analytically rigorous young professionals who are passionate about learning and creating impact. It's highly likely you'll move forward in the process if: * 5+ years in research, intelligence, knowledge management, consulting, or content-driven data roles — with at least 2 years leading a team * You've owned a structured intelligence product or dataset that customers actually paid for — and you've shipped it to the bar your customers demanded * Editorial judgment you can demonstrate — you read 200 rows of a dataset and instantly spot the 20 that are wrong, and you can explain why * Track record designing taxonomies, ontologies or research frameworks for complex domains * Experience scaling team operations: SOPs, quality controls, throughput KPIs, capacity planning * Comfortable in technical conversations — you don't need to write SQL, but you can sit with engineers, weigh trade-offs and shape what gets built * Hands-on with modern AI tooling: you've used LLMs to extract, classify or summarise data, and you know where they're trustworthy and where they aren't * Comfortable working across Manila–Paris timezones and as part of a remote co-leadership * Fluent English Cherry on the Cake! * You like collaborating as a team and delivering your best as an individual * You are passionate about technology, innovation, and investment Process: * Introductory call * Pre-case Interview * Case Study * Final interview with CEO, PH Director and coffee chat
