The job What You’ll Be Doing: * Planning, executing, and scaling app user acquisition campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with performance across other paid social channels (TikTok, Snapchat) a plus * Monitoring and optimizing account structure, bidding models, and audience segmentation * Driving incremental growth through performance-focused campaign strategy and rapid experimentation * Collaborating with analytics, creative and social teams to boost paid acquisition * Generating insights from performance data and proactively identifying areas of opportunity * Staying up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and evolving privacy regulations * Producing regular performance reports and contributing to strategic discussions Must have: * 5+ years of performance marketing experience in app user acquisition, preferably in high-growth environments * Expert-level experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns at scale, ideally with additional experience in TikTok Ads or Snapchat * Proven track record of optimizing campaigns for performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and LTV * Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities * Solid understanding of app attribution and proficiency using MMP tools * Proficiency using tools like Looker, Tableau or similar BI tools to analyze and visualize data * Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally * Upper-intermediate or advanced proficiency in English * Ability to conduct market research and competitors analysis Nice to have: * Experience with Google Ads and video networks * Experience in web2app user acquisition * Experience in Health Tech, FinTech, or other regulated industries * Experience with automation tools and scripts for campaign management * Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA etc. Salary range between €4500-€6000 gross per month #LI-DL1 How we work We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. YOUR EXPEDITION: GROWTH & MARKETING AT POLARSTEPS Over the past 10 years, Polarsteps has grown massively through word-of-mouth, thanks to our product and tech department building a top-quality user experience for all our travelers. The Growth & Marketing department is a growing team, but already doing big things. You'll take full ownership of our user acquisition strategies, spanning paid flywheels including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Apple Search Ads, to our content flywheels including LLM optimizations, video search, ASO and Reddit engagement to maximize acceleration within our key markets (FR, DE, UK, US, NL). Besides that, you will work closely with our product managers to optimize the user flow for paid users to improve activation rates. With ratings of 4.8 and 4.7 on the app stores and features in multiple Google and Apple showcases, we've got an impressive past. But we're even more excited for the future, and the impact you can make from day one is huge, directly influencing how we can accelerate user acquisition in all our key markets. YOUR ITINERARY What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day. You will: * Execute, monitor, and optimize performance marketing campaigns, conducting tests, analyzing data, and identifying trends with a focus on lowering CPAs and acquiring high quality users. * Collaborate with agencies, UGC creators, Polarsteps Explorers and Travel Creators to develop compelling on-brand creatives that resonate with target audiences. * Improve our App Store Rankings for Google Play & iOS Store (ASO) to enhance organic install growth. (We currently work closely with an App Store Optimization (ASO) expert but would like you to start taking it over) * Improve our Organic Search strategy on TikTok, YouTube and LLMs to capture users the moment they are planning their next trip. * Track, report, and deeply analyze campaign performance, understanding the core problems and drivers of change. Your Mission We’re looking for a Senior Growth Lead to drive sustainable, data-informed growth across the entire customer lifecycle — from acquisition to retention - and take BlaBlaCar to the next level in Ukraine.
