DEINE AUFGABEN * Du erarbeitest moderne Lösungsstrategien und implementierst verteilte, Cloud-native Systeme auf gängigen Cloud-Plattformen wie AWS, Azure oder GCP * Du designst sichere, resiliente sowie skalierbare Architekturen und stellst deren langfristig stabilen Betrieb sicher * Du entwickelst wiederverwendbare Infrastructure-as-Code-Module sowie Blueprints, um Best Practices über verschiedene Projekte hinweg zu etablieren * Du automatisierst konsequent die Infrastruktur, Deployments sowie Betriebsprozesse und entwickelst bestehende Lösungen kontinuierlich weiter * Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Entwickler:innen zusammen und stellst sicher, dass die Plattform optimal auf deren Bedürfnisse abgestimmt ist * Du berätst sowohl intern als auch gegenüber unseren Kund:innen kompetent zu Themen wie Architektur, Sicherheit, Kosten und Betrieb * Du verantwortest die Wartung sowie die technologische Weiterentwicklung von anspruchsvollen Kundenprojekten * Du unterstützt aktiv beim Monitoring, dem Incident Handling sowie bei der Erstellung von Disaster-Recovery-Strategien DEIN PROFIL * Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrung im Platform Engineering, im DevOps-Umfeld oder in einer vergleichbaren technischen Rolle mit * Du bist sicher im Umgang mit Linux-Systemen sowie deren Werkzeugen und verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse im Aufbau von Netzwerkinfrastrukturen (z. B. VPC, Routing, Security) * Du besitzt tiefgehende Erfahrung mit mindestens einem großen Cloud-Anbieter (Azure, AWS oder GCP) * Du bist versiert im Design sowie im Betrieb von Microservices-Architekturen und in der Container-Orchestrierung mittels Kubernetes, ECS, AKS oder GKE * Du beherrscht Infrastructure as Code sicher mit Tools wie Terraform, Pulumi, CDK oder Ansible und bist erfahren im Umgang mit CI/CD-Systemen wie GitHub oder Azure DevOps und Deployment-Strategien * Du verfügst außerdem über Kenntnisse im Bereich Observability (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing) sowie im stabilen Plattformbetrieb * Du bringst zudem Erfahrung mit Security-Prinzipien (z. You will drive platform strategy, architecture, and execution to help engineers ship faster, safer, and with higher quality. A key part of your role will be to actively collect needs and best practices from engineering teams, turning those insights into relevant, well-grounded platform solutions. You will set engineering standards along with senior engineers from the whole company, mentor peers, and bridge platform engineering with AI and cybersecurity. Responsibilities * Platform Engineering - Architect and evolve the IDP, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. Own the long-term technical vision, define platform standards (IaC, GitOps), and select best-in-class tooling across build, deployment, monitoring, and security. * Developer Experience - Proactively identify and eliminate friction across the software lifecycle. Track DX metrics (DORA, SPACE) and use data to prioritize platform investments. Be the internal advocate for developers. * AI-Augmented Platform - Integrate AI capabilities into the platform (intelligent code review, anomaly detection, smart test generation). Evaluate and operationalize AI tools (GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants) and explore agentic automation to reduce developer toil. * Security & Compliance - Embed security-by-design into every platform layer: secure CI/CD (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning), supply chain integrity (SLSA, SBOM), and least-privilege access. YOUR ROLE We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation that power our applications. In this role, you will combine the speed and reliability focus of DevOps with the architectural depth of Platform Engineering, ensuring that our development teams can deliver high-quality software quickly, securely, and at scale. You will be responsible for designing infrastructure, implementing automation, ensuring platform reliability, and guiding the evolution of our delivery pipelines and cloud environments.
