Europe's leading online grocery delivery service. Using technology to deliver weekly shopping (25 000 SKUs) in less than three
hours in 15-minute time slots, saving our customers time and giving them freedom and flexibility.
The world needs a better food system, one that is more sustainable, more inclusive, and that brings healthier and more
personalised food to all. Rohlik Group is leading this change. In every city, we carefully select the best quality and freshest
local produce to save our customers time; from butchers to bakery, and fresh produce directly from farmers via our unique
Farm-to-Door program. We carry all the favourite brands, plus a range of affordable own-label products, so our customers don’t
miss out on what they love.
The AI Engineering team at Rohlik drives automation and smart decision-making across the company. We design and optimize AI-driven
systems, from ETL pipelines to autonomous AI agents, and integrate them with public APIs, LLMs, and databases. Working closely
with Product, Data, and Tech teams, we create scalable, data-powered solutions that improve both customer-facing products and
internal operations.
The purpose of this role is to architect and develop both internal AI automation systems and customer-facing AI-powered systems
(such as text and voice chatbots, recommendation systems, etc.) that shape the future of online retail.
The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, evaluating, and maintaining core AI services and components that enable
efficient decision-making across the organization and enhance the customer experience. These systems operate at a large scale,
handling hundreds of concurrent requests across our e-commerce and logistics platforms. You will also act as an advocate for
AI-driven transformation, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical, user-centric product features.
You will join a dynamic AI Engineering team at the intersection of retail and technology. We embrace a "ship-fast" mentality,
leveraging the latest advancements in LLMs and agentic workflows to solve real-world retail challenges at scale.

At FTMO, we believe that company growth starts with people. We are a team that pushes forward together, supports one another, and celebrates shared achievements. Our environment creates space for talents to grow – individually, as a team, and across the whole company. Right now, we are looking for someone to own the design, content quality, and AI readiness of our group's internal knowledge base from a blank page. Your mission? Make sure both humans and AI agents find the right answer fast, and that teams across the group know how to build and run AI workflows on top of what we know. This is a founder-style role. You start solo, prove the value, and lay the foundation for an AI Knowledge function that grows into a dedicated team over time. If you like owning a domain end to end and turning tribal knowledge into something a machine and a busy colleague can both trust, this role is tailored to you. WHAT WILL BE YOUR AGENDA? * Stand up the group knowledge base as the single source of truth across the FTMO Group. Decide what belongs in it, how it is structured, and who owns each domain. * Design and maintain the information architecture (taxonomy, metadata, tagging, content models) so both employees and AI agents (RAG pipelines, internal copilots, MCP-based workflows) retrieve high-quality answers. * Run the content curation pipeline end to end with departmental SMEs: intake, drafting, review, freshness audits, deprecation. Set the editorial standard and hold the line. * Define what "AI-ready content" means in practice (chunking, structure, source attribution, freshness signals) and turn it into rules contributors can actually follow. * Wire the KB into the group's AI tooling stack together with the AI Lead and IT: internal RAG, Claude, AI agents, MCP connectors, and agentic search. * Build a network of knowledge champions inside each department, and train teams to query the KB effectively with AI and contribute back high-quality content. * Scope and build the team. Assess where one person stops being enough, write the business case, define the roles, hire, and grow into leading them while still doing hands-on work. * Track KB health (coverage, freshness, retrieval quality, agent answer accuracy, adoption, time saved) and govern access, sensitivity, and compliance together with Legal, Security, and Compliance. WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE? * You have built and run a knowledge base, intranet, documentation function, or large content surface end to end: structure, content, governance, measurement. * At least one program where AI tools (RAG, copilots, agents) sit on top of structured content. * You use AI tools every day and can teach others. Practical fluency, hands-on with at least two of: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Notion AI, Glean, Guru. * A working understanding of how RAG, embeddings, agentic workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) behave in practice. * You design taxonomy, ontology, metadata, and content models that hold up under both human and machine consumption, and you have opinions about chunking, source attribution, and what AI-ready content actually looks like. * 5 to 7+ years in knowledge management, information architecture, technical writing, internal communications, content design, support operations, or L&D. * A founder mindset. Comfortable with a blank page, you scope, prototype, and ship value before asking for budget or headcount. * English at C1 or higher. Czech welcome. WHAT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE? * Prior direct lead experience (1 to 3 reports). * Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry. * A background in library or information science, taxonomy design, or content operations at scale, plus facilitation or training experience across multiple departments or sites. WHY JOIN THE FTMO TEAM? * We are a Czech fintech that, since 2015, has grown from an idea into a global project. 🚀 * 300+ amazing teammates. We’re a great team who learn from each other every day.🤜🤛 * How do we work? We focus on meaningful work and open communication, while only adopting processes that make our lives easier. * Prague, Národní třída. Enjoy our modern offices at the Quadrio shopping center, offering beautiful views and excellent accessibility. * What if I don’t trade? No worries. We’ll show you what our product is all about and introduce you to the basics of trading. * Free fruit, snacks, and coffee are always within reach in the office. * How do we promote strong relationships and well-being? Company cottage, team building events, and running club. * Flexible hybrid model. We prefer collaborating in person to keep the team spirit high, but we offer the flexibility you need to stay balanced. *The benefits mentioned above apply to on-site employees in our Prague office.
At FTMO, we believe that company growth starts with people. We are a team that pushes forward together, supports one another, and celebrates shared achievements. Our environment creates space for talents to grow – individually, as a team, and across the whole company. We are building the way FTMO ships software in the age of AI, and we want you to own it. This is not a "use a bit of Copilot" role. We are making AI-first delivery the default across our IT department, and you will be the engineer who makes that real. You will own our AI development harness: the coding-agent patterns, conventions, and end-to-end loops that let agents make reliable, incremental progress across long sessions and many context windows. Think of it as building the AI software factory the whole company builds on top of. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who already ships production-grade software primarily by directing coding agents, not by hand-writing every line. You set the example, the guardrails, and the conventions that every other engineer's agents will follow. WHAT WILL BE YOUR AGENDA? * Design and own FTMO's AI development harness: initializer and coding-agent patterns, AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md conventions, progress and checkpoint files, feature lists, and end-to-end test loops. * Shape the AI-native SDLC and PDLC together with our DevEx Specialist. Map every phase to a clear delegate / review / own model, then wire the tooling (MCP integrations, eval loops, CI hooks). * Run fast proofs of concept against real codebases and workflows, then turn the ones that hold up into production-ready patterns. * Deliver production software agent-first, keeping the codebase clean and mergeable and setting the standard for agent-first delivery. * Build and harden the AI infrastructure: model access and routing, sandboxes, secrets and permissioning, observability, and cost controls for agent runs. * Raise the whole department's AI fluency through patterns, internal documentation, and hands-on pairing, and help non-engineering teams ship and govern their own apps. * Track the frontier. Evaluate new models and tooling, and bring the ones that earn their place into our stack, including reporting. WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE? * You are a senior SW engineer who has shipped and owned production software across the full lifecycle. * Around a year working AI-first: delivering real, production-grade software primarily by directing coding agents. * You can show us the harness. Agent configs, AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md files, eval suites, prompts, MCP integrations, or repositories that prove how you get agents to do reliable work. * Strong general software engineering. You can read, design, and review production code in at least one major stack and reason about architecture, testing, and security. * Deep, practical fluency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK, Codex, Cursor, or equivalents): context management, compaction, long-running sessions, and multi-agent patterns. * Prompt and context engineering as a daily discipline, plus a feel for evals and verification loops so agent output is measured against tests, latency, and style * Ownership and influence. You take a problem from PoC to production, leave the environment clean, and get other engineers to adopt new ways of working without needing a mandate. * English at B2 level or above. WHAT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE? * Experience in fintech or another regulated, high-stakes environment. * Public contributions: open-source agent tooling, write-ups, or talks on AI-native development. * Hands-on AI infrastructure work: model routing, sandboxes, permissioning, observability, and cost control for agent runs at scale. WHY JOIN THE FTMO TEAM? * We are a Czech fintech that, since 2015, has grown from an idea into a global project. 🚀 * 300+ amazing teammates. We focus on meaningful work and open communication, while only adopting processes that make our lives easier. * Prague, Národní třída.
