We’re Cyted, a pioneering gastrointestinal diagnostics company transforming earlier detection for oesophageal cancer and Barrett’s
oesophagus.
Our EndoSign test combines a swallowable capsule with advanced biomarkers and analytics to detect disease earlier, improving
patient outcomes while reducing pressures on healthcare systems.
What started as an idea between a health-tech entrepreneur and leading clinical scientists in Cambridge UK, has quickly grown
internationally, backed by EQT Life Sciences and a $44M Series B investment.
But we still work like a startup - because we are one. Things move quickly and we’re building as we go. Some days you’ll solve
brand new problems and others you’ll roll your sleeves up and get things done.
We’re a collaborative team, so your work matters. We have our investors trust, but you won’t disappear into layers of hierarchy,
waiting months for decisions. If you've got a good idea, we want to hear it - whatever your role.
We like curious, adaptable people who are always willing to learn. This isn’t a polished corporate - we’re building as we go.
If you're excited to help build something ambitious from the ground up that makes a real difference to patients' lives - we'd love
to hear from you.
Our four-stage process runs on a rolling basis, with each stage serving a clear purpose. Shaped by candidate feedback, we've
designed it to give you honest insights into Cyted, whatever the role.
1. Initial conversation – A relaxed online conversation with Maddie from our People team to get to know you, talk through your
experience and answer any questions you have about Cyted.
2. Line manager interview – An online discussion exploring the role in more detail through scenario-based and role-specific
questions.
3. Team interview & assessment – Meet the wider team in person and see how we work. You'll complete a presentation or practical
assessment so we can hear your ideas and see how you approach challenges at Cyted.
4. Final Interview – Marcel, our CEO, still meets every potential new joiner. It's an opportunity to discuss your ambitions and
how they align with Cyted's journey and future vision.
We're looking for a Medical Science Liaison who's excited to learn, grow and help bring the clinical value of our technology to
life.
As we expand and commercialise in the US, you'll work alongside gastroenterologists, pathologists and healthcare teams, delivering
clinical education, answering scientific questions and gathering field insights that help drive adoption in real-world practice.
Joining a small Medical Affairs team, you'll work closely with Commercial, Clinical Operations and Product, where your ideas and
initiative will have a genuine impact. Rather than stepping into an established function, you'll help shape how we work, ensuring
customer feedback influences our evidence, product and future direction.
We're looking for someone who's built early experience in Medical Affairs or a scientific field role and is hungry to learn, grow
and make their mark. This role is for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining, takes initiative and wants the
opportunity to have an influence far beyond their job title.
If you're motivated by innovation, excited by the pace of a growing company and want to play a meaningful role in bringing a
first-of-its-kind diagnostic to patients across the US from the start, we'd love to hear from you.
The role is a full-time position with a standard 40 hour working week. The role holder will need to visit other company sites
frequently and may be required to work flexibly.

ROLE SUMMARY We're looking for a Business Development Manager who's excited by the challenge of building something new and making a genuine difference to patients. Earlier cancer detection doesn't happen because of great technology alone. It happens because healthcare organisations trust it, understand its value and choose to make it part of everyday patient care. You'll help create and grow Cyted's commercial presence across the Southeast US, working with health systems, IDNs, academic medical centres and gastroenterology practices to bring an innovative diagnostic solution to more patients. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role where success comes from being out in the market, meeting customers, building relationships and creating opportunities. You'll partner with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Cyted can improve patient access, clinical pathways and operational efficiency. From first conversations through implementation, adoption and expansion, you'll become a trusted partner while working closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Product and Customer Success to deliver an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for someone who's curious, proactive and enjoys building out in the field rather than maintaining. Whether you've helped grow a territory, launched something new or are ready to take the next step in your career, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. Your ideas, initiative and insight from the field will help shape how we engage customers, strengthen adoption and continue growing Cyted across the US. Expand Market Access and Early Detection Programs * Educating stakeholders on the clinical and economic value of earlier detection and its impact on patient outcomes, healthcare costs, and quality metrics. * Working cross-functionally with Clinical, Product, Medical Affairs, and Operations teams to support implementation and ensure customer success by redesigning care pathways that improve access to screening, diagnostic testing. * Identifying and pursuing opportunities to integrate Cyted's solutions into preventive care, population health, and risk-stratification programs. Skills & Knowledge * Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in understanding customer challenges before offering solutions. * Commercial awareness, good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own territory with support from the wider team. * A proactive approach, comfortable creating opportunities and maintaining momentum. Our technology brings a minimally invasive diagnostic approach to market - our EndoSign test combines a swallowable pill-like device with advanced biomarkers and analytics to help detect disease earlier and faster. What started as an idea between a health-tech entrepreneur and leading clinical scientists at Cambridge University has quickly grown into an international company operating across the UK and US, backed by investors such as EQT Life Sciences and a $44M Series B investment. But we still work like a startup - because we are one. Things move quickly here and we build as we go. Some days you’ll be solving problems first of their kind with innovative approaches. If you have a good idea, we want to hear it, regardless of your role or title. We like people who are curious, adaptable, thoughtful, and always willing to learn and improve. This isn’t a polished corporate environment where everything already exists. We’re building processes, teams, products and ways of working in real time. Every day is different.
