OUR MISSION Bounti is building the AI-native infrastructure layer for frontline teams — spanning training, audits, and autonomous operations. We partner with multi-location operators in frontline-industries such as hospitality. We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to join our founding product team in Berlin. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves ownership, sweats UX details, and ships fast, end to end delivering value for customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Build Product End-to-End: Own features from concept → implementation → release → iteration (frontend + backend). * Ship Fast, Learn Faster: Deliver quickly, validate with customers, and iterate. Biggest risk is building the wrong thing — not imperfect code. * Customer-Driven Engineering: Talk to users and customers directly, understand the workflow pain, and turn feedback into product improvements. * Design-First Execution: Partner closely with Ziar (Designer & Co-Founder) to create experiences that feel premium and intuitive. * Raise the Engineering Bar: Improve patterns, code quality, DX, testing, and observability without slowing down shipping. * Work Like a Founder: Prioritize ruthlessly, own outcomes, and help shape what “great product engineering” looks like at Bounti. YOUR PROFILE * You have a strong product sense — you care about UX, clarity, and the tiny details that make software feel “right”. * You’re strong on the backend (you’ve built and scaled real production systems) — and you’re not afraid to go deep when needed. * You’re pragmatic and impact-driven: you know when to polish and when to ship to learn. * You write clean, understandable, maintainable code — and you communicate context early and often. * You enjoy getting close to the problem: talking to customers, understanding real-world constraints, building solutions that stick. * Experience with our stack is a plus: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Postgres, Prisma. Bonus points if you have: * Built AI product features (LLMs, agents, workflows, evaluation, etc.) * Mobile product experience (Flutter, React Native or similar) * ML experience You’ll work extremely closely with: * Çağatay (Senior Product Engineer) * Emanuele (Senior Product Engineer) * Yannick (Software Engineer) * Ziar (Designer & Co-Founder) …and often with Deniz (Co-Founder) who brings constant customer perspective. This is a small, high-trust team. Low ego, high standards, lots of shipping. WHY US? * Founding-team level ownership: You’re not “implementing tickets”, you’re shaping the product building high-value bets and stay close to customers. * Real societal impact: We’re building for the 80% of the workforce that doesn’t sit at a desk — and software has ignored them for too long. * Design-focused culture: Craft matters here. You’ll build software you’re proud to show. * Customer obsession: We build what serves operators and frontline teams — not engineering for engineering’s sake. * Backed by exceptional investors: We’re backed by top-tier VCs and investors like the founders of Framer and Indeed. * Remote or In-Office in Berlin: You can work remotely (CET/CEST ±1 hour only), or in our beautiful Berlin office, top equipment, 30 days holiday, impact from day 0. We embrace diversity and hire people based on their ability to perform a job. People of any race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, political opinion, or marital status are welcome at Bounti.

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. Toast is looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join the GTM & AI Strategy Engineering team. In this role, you will be a primary builder of 0-to-1 tools designed to revolutionize how our sales teams operate. This isn't about maintaining legacy systems; it’s about writing the code and building the intelligence models that eliminate friction across the Go-To-Market stack. Working under Senior Technical Leader’s guidance, you will be responsible for building and productionizing agentic workflows and RAG pipelines to automate sales processes. You will integrate AI services into the tech stack while maintaining rigorous standards for observability and performance monitoring. A day in the life (Responsibilities) * Hands-on Execution: Spend the majority of your time "hands-on-keyboard" , architecting and coding high-performance backend services and ML pipelines. * 0-to-1 Development: Build and prototype new internal products from scratch that leverage LLMs and Agentic AI to automate account research, lead prioritization, and complex quoting logic. * Infrastructure Integration: Develop the backend connective tissue between our custom quoting engine, Salesforce, and internal data lakes to ensure a seamless, low-latency end-to-end experience. * Technical Problem Solving: Act as a key executor to solve complex synchronization and architectural challenges across the GTM stack, ensuring systems are scalable and resilient. * Build Great Products: Deliver significant core capabilities that have broad impact; take high-level goals and turn them into sequenced, production-ready code. * Problem Solve: Anticipate shifts in product needs and build flexible, decoupled backend systems that can evolve with our AI strategy. * Deliver Quality: Ensure the reliability of GTM tools by building deep observability into every service you ship. What you'll need to thrive (Requirements) * Deep Backend Expertise: Extensive experience in backend languages (Java, Go, Python) with a track record of building complex, distributed systems. * Applied AI/ML Skills: Practical, hands-on experience building LLM agents in a production environment. * Systems Architecture: Ability to implement event-driven architectures and manage data flow across disparate systems with high integrity. * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field. What will help you stand out (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves) * Experience building internal "Sales Tech" or "Fintech" tools that directly impact revenue. * Familiarity with AWS data services (SageMaker, Lambda, SQS). * A passion for removing "human-in-the-loop" friction through intelligent automation. #LI-Remote AI at Toast At Toast, one of our company values is that we're hungry to build and learn.
