We’re looking for a Product Manager who thrives in fast-moving environments and loves turning customer insights into thoughtful
product decisions. In this role, you’ll own major product areas end-to-end, from shaping strategy and defining requirements to
partnering closely with design and engineering to deliver high-quality features.
This is a high-ownership role: you’ll have a seat at the table for decisions that influence the roadmap, architecture, and
long-term vision of the product. If you enjoy autonomy, solving real customer problems, and shipping quickly, this role is for
you.

Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done. THE OPPORTUNITY Every company will soon need a way for humans and AI agents to work together on shared data. Agents need structure and context to act reliably. Humans need to see and control what agents are doing. Airtable has spent a decade building exactly those primitives — structured operational data, permissions, interfaces, automations — and agents are already showing up in Airtable to use them. The hard problem now is the last mile: making humans and agents genuinely productive together on real business workflows. That is the problem this team exists to solve. We are building Airtable as an AI-first company. It shows up in how we ship (every employee builds alongside AI agents), how we hire, and how we build products (agents and AI capabilities are first-class, not bolted on). You'll join a small product team with an outsized surface area. Your starting focus is agent experiences in the core product: how AI agents show up, act, and stay accountable inside the same surfaces our customers use every day — and how the product changes when agents become first-class users of it. From there, expect to move across the product as priorities evolve. We're not hiring you to feed a backlog. We're hiring you to find the problems worth solving and take them from idea all the way to production. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own a product area end-to-end — from problem discovery through shipped, measured outcomes. You take ideas from ideation all the way to production. * Build AI-native product experiences — decide how agents and AI capabilities show up in your area, where humans stay in the loop, and how the product earns users' trust. * Take on systems and structural work — the deeper product problems that cut across surfaces, not just feature iteration. * Work in prototypes, not just PRDs — use AI tools to build working versions of your ideas and put them in front of people early. * Define success for outcomes that are inherently fuzzy — build measurement frameworks for AI quality, adoption, and behavior change, and use them to decide what to build next. * Operate with high agency — identify the most important problems to work on next rather than waiting for scope to be handed to you. WHO YOU ARE * 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products users rely on. * Genuinely AI-forward. Not "I use AI to draft PRDs" — you've automated real work: workflows that synthesize feedback across your product areas, agents that handle parts of your team's job, prototypes instead of documents. The signal we look for is compounding — AI increasingly doing the work for you and your team. * Technically fluent in AI. You understand how LLMs work, can reason about model capabilities and tradeoffs, and have a point of view on retrieval, evals, and prompt design. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can operate like a team of one inside a modern AI stack. * High agency; you’re motivated by being handed a hard area, not an execution-oriented roadmap. * Energized by ambiguity and hard problems. Our priorities shift as the AI landscape shifts; you make progress when a roadmap doesn't exist yet. * Product taste, especially for AI interactions. You have a refined sense of what makes AI feel helpful rather than frustrating, when to show confidence versus uncertainty, and how transparency builds trust. * User empathy. You understand how non-technical people think about their data, and you can turn complex capabilities into experiences they trust and use daily. Airtable is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and strive to create a workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any characteristic protected by applicable federal and state laws, regulations and ordinances. With Terminal, businesses can unlock in-person payments use cases that are right for their business model—whether it’s creating a superb retail experience, extending their website to a pop-up store, or enabling a mobile point-of-sale at their next event. We’re looking for an experienced product manager to lead and shape the future of the software platform that powers Stripe Terminal’s devices portfolio. Working closely with your engineering partners you will design, build and launch device software capabilities that delight users and differentiate Stripe’s solutions in the market. Working closely with our hardware experts you will build the multi-year strategy for how Stripe will continue to enhance the scalability, reliability, usability, and market differentiation of the software capabilities of our in-person commerce devices. In this role, you will work with a spectrum of users, from our largest platforms to small start ups as well as external technology partners to deeply understand user needs and market trends. You will obsess over stability, scalability, and expanding our product while delivering the best in person experiences in the world. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Set a motivating multi-year vision for device software in partnership with the Hardware team and then break it down into measurable, meaningful milestones for the Terminal OS Platform Team and the Firmware team. This includes creating buy-in, crafting roadmaps and OKRs, and navigating trade-offs. * Partner with software and hardware engineers to deeply understand the technology that our devices rely on and how to build on that technology to support exponential growth and a world-class user experience. These experiences will include (but are not limited to) device boot up, device software updates (including AOSP, firmware and applications), device security, software and device performance, connectivity and devices accessories. * Partner with cross-functional partners to research, document, and deeply understand what Terminal customers need to enable an excellent in person payments experience. * Build empathy with our end users and the differentiation they aim to deliver for their merchants. * Deeply research and understand the competitive landscape and translate that understanding into differentiating features for your product suite. * Collaborate with the Partnerships team to develop a compelling roadmap for how we can extend Terminal growth via third-party hardware partnerships and clearly communicate the business value of these partnerships in the context of our wider Terminal Hardware roadmap to gain alignment across Terminal and Stripe leadership. * Use metrics to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success. * Define product requirements, provide clear guidance on prioritization, and support decisions related to development sequencing. You will also participate in sprint planning rituals to deliver against those requirements and the overall roadmap. * Leverage your technical knowledge and experience to help your team make technical trade off decisions. WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS: * 8+ years of product management experience or equivalent * Demonstrated success and strong execution track record in building and sustaining scalable technology products. * Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in productive, healthy debate done with mutual respect and shared goals. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication * Proven track record of successful stakeholder management including executive communications, handling escalations, and advocating for ongoing investment in your product. * Experience working on products with developer interfaces (App deployment, APIs, SDKs); hardware or hardware-related product experience a plus. * Technically adept systems thinker, ideally with a Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience working as a software engineer * Open to travel to Asia, including traveling at times to our Hong Kong or Taiwan locations. EXPERIENCE IN 1 - 2 OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS ARE NICE TO HAVE: * Mobile device management * Android operating system internals * Hardware build and lifecycle management * Payments and/or eCommerce * Experience successfully building and launching 0-1 products
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: The Relevance & Personalization (R&P) team is Airbnb's matching intelligence engine — a talented team of ML engineers, applied researchers, and technical program managers who connect guests to the right listings across every surface and help hosts compete and thrive in our marketplace. We work at the intersection of search ranking, recommendations, personalization, and generative AI, and we're building toward a future where Airbnb feels less like a search engine and more like a knowledgeable travel companion that understands your needs across your entire trip journey. The Difference You Will Make: As Product Manager for Relevance & Personalization, you will help set the strategy and drive execution for some of Airbnb's highest-leverage AI systems. You'll own the roadmap and shape how personalization works across the guest journey, and help define how we close the feedback loop for hosts. You'll partner with engineers, researchers, designers, and cross-functional teams to ship systems that directly drive bookings, guest satisfaction, and host success — at global scale. A Typical Day: * Define and drive the roadmap for Airbnb's relevance and personalization platform — from natural language query understanding to multi-turn, context-aware discovery experiences * Make prioritization calls that balance multiple competing objectives: guest experience, host success, revenue, fairness, and marketplace health * Partner with ML engineers and applied researchers to shape model strategy, evaluation frameworks, and experimentation design * Align cross-functional partners — Guest, Host, MarTech, Trust & Safety, Customer Support — on shared goals and sequencing * Drive the Tripcycle vision: ensuring R&P's intelligence layer connects across the full trip lifecycle, from inspiration through post-trip * Design and oversee A/B experiments with rigorous metric design and long-term effect measurement * Translate complex technical tradeoffs into clear decisions for engineering teams and concise narratives for leadership * Foster an environment where engineers and product managers collaborate on building the future * Stay close to guests and hosts: synthesize user research, marketplace data, and competitive signals to sharpen your intuition and refine strategy Your Expertise: * 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years on ML, search, recommendations, or AI-powered products at scale * Track record of owning strategy and roadmap for technically complex systems — not just managing features, but setting direction and making hard prioritization calls * Strong experimentation fluency: comfortable designing A/B tests, interpreting counterfactual results, and reasoning about proxy metrics vs. long-term outcomes * Experience working on two-sided marketplaces or platforms where you balanced supply-side and demand-side tradeoffs * Ability to earn the respect of Staff and Principal-level engineers and researchers — you don't need to write code, but you need to engage at a level that builds credibility * Clear, structured communicator who can distill complex technical tradeoffs for executives and translate strategic intent into actionable guidance for engineers * Experience with LLM-based products in production — ideally involving evaluation challenges, latency constraints, or safety and guardrail work (preferred) * Familiarity with reinforcement learning, contextual bandits, or explore/exploit frameworks in a product context (preferred) * Background working alongside applied researchers or with teams that publish externally (preferred) Your Location: Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in San Francisco, CA to be able to conduct their work. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware And Rhode Island. This list is continuously being updated, please check back with us if the state you live in is on the exclusion list. If your position is employed by another Airbnb entity, your recruiter will inform you what states you are eligible to work from. Our Commitment To Inclusion & Belonging: Airbnb is committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible. We believe diverse ideas foster innovation and engagement, and allow us to attract creatively-led people, and to develop the best products, services and solutions. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply. We strive to also provide a disability inclusive application and interview process. If you are a candidate with a disability and require reasonable accommodation in order to submit an application, please contact us at: reasonableaccommodations@airbnb.com. Please include your full name, the role you’re applying for and the accommodation necessary to assist you with the recruiting process. We ask that you only reach out to us if you are a candidate whose disability prevents you from being able to complete our online application. How We'll Take Care of You: Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. Pay Range $232,000—$282,000 USD
