We're currently looking for a Commercial Planning Manager to join our Commercial Operations team and deliver strong business
planning and customer journey management capabilities. This role is responsible for sales volume planning, digital customer
journey, payment operations and various business reporting to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.
This position is located at Polestar Automotive Korea office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to
remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is
that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
The Commercial Planning Manager will be responsible for planning sales volume and managing customer journeys, digital operations
and business reporting to support commercial performance. This role will directly report to Head of Commercial Operations.

Let us describe the challenge we offer The Polestar PR Communication Manager will be the primary driver of Polestar Korea’s external and internal communications, shaping how the brand and its products are perceived across media, internal channels, and key stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic, proactive, and hands-on communications professional who can plan and execute impactful PR activities while building strong relationships with media and internal teams. In this role, you will lead strategic brand and product communications, manage media relations, and monitor media coverage to derive insights and prepare for potential issues or crisis situations. You will also play a key role in enhancing internal communication to ensure employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with Polestar’s vision and strategy. What you'll do * Develop and lead integrated PR & communications strategy aligned with Polestar’s business objectives, brand positioning, and market priorities in Korea * Own end-to-end media relations strategy, including key media mapping, relationship development with top-tier media & YouTubers, and proactive storytelling to shape brand perception * Serve as the primary point of contact for PR agency management, including briefing, performance evaluation, and continuous optimization * Lead crisis communications planning and execution, including risk identification, message development, and stakeholder alignment * Execute internal communications to ensure consistent messaging, leadership alignment, and employee engagement * Collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Commercial, CX, and Network teams, to ensure aligned and impactful storytelling * Support executive communications, including speech writing, key messaging, media interviews, and thought leadership positioning * Identify and lead PR opportunities across product launches, corporate milestones, sustainability topics, and industry trends to maximize earned media impact Who you are • Bachelor’s degree or above (Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred) • 5–8+ years of experience in PR/Communications (Automotive, premium brands, or PR agency experience preferred) • Proven track record in leading PR strategy and managing agencies and key stakeholders • Strong media network with demonstrated ability to secure high-impact coverage • Excellent storytelling and editorial capabilities (press materials, executive messaging, brand narrative) • Experience in crisis communications and issues management • Fluent in English (written and verbal) • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills In this role you will be based in our Seoul office and report directly to and work closely together with the Head of Marketing & Communication in Polestar Korea. Our in-house talents and teams in the Swedish headquarters will be important sparring partners for you and of course, you will be interacting closely with our agency network.
