Team Lead, IT Support, APAC As Team Lead, IT Support, APAC, you will be based in our Singapore office, stepping into a role to build and lead a best-in-class regional support function. You will manage a distributed team of five across Singapore and Bengaluru (comprising both dedicated support and hybrid support/engineering roles) to elevate the overall APAC IT support experience. The scope of this role is to improve the overall IT experience in all our offices in APAC.  You will combine strong people leadership with a strategic mindset, crafting the short- (1 year), medium- (1-3 years), and long-term (3-5 years) vision for the team while automating processes, partnering with regional (senior) management, and driving technical excellence. You are a hands-on manager helping out with support if needed.  WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead & define success * Set the Vision: Drive the technical direction of the team by developing and executing short-term (1 year), medium-term (1-3 years), and long-term (3-5 years) support strategies aligned with global business goals. * People Leadership: Supervise, guide, and mentor a distributed team of 5 (2x hybrid engineers in SG, 1x support engineer in SG, and 2x support engineers in BLR). * Drive Performance: Set clear individual and team goals, delegate tasks effectively, and manage performance using Adyen’s leadership framework: Empower, Care, Act, Scale. * Culture Carrier: Foster a global, inclusive mindset. Technical & execution strength * Core Systems: Deep administrative experience with cloud tools and identity providers (Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Slack) and robust experience managing MacOS environments. * Support & Automation: Hands-on knowledge of ticket management systems, data analysis, and a proven track record of using scripting/automation to reduce manual workloads. * AV & Infrastructure: Strong technical understanding of meeting room equipment (Logitech, Zoom Rooms), Event Spaces/All-hands areas, and monitoring/observability tools like Grafana. Language & location * Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent, sharp communication skills. * Requires a strong in-office presence to foster team collaboration, with the ability to manage a distributed team across APAC effectively. Senior FEA Engineer

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR As a Senior FEA Engineer (Delivery), you are a problem solver and a builder, who is passionate about creating practical solutions that enable customers to make better engineering decisions. You are someone who can grasp and apply advanced engineering concepts across multiple industries, and you excel at working directly with customers (often directly on-site) to build CAE models that are integrated into AI-tools that are both useful and used. We're building our Singapore presence from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join at the founding stage of a regional team, with the autonomy to help define what this team becomes. You bring deep expertise in structural mechanics, materials science, and multi-physics modelling, with a solid ability to apply fundamental knowledge to real-world phenomena across a wide range of engineering applications. Highly proficient in at least one of NASTRAN, ABAQUS or ANSYS Mechanical, adept at automating these tools to create scalable optimisation workflows that drive impactful results. Experience with open source FEA packages such as CalculiX or FEniCS would be highly advantageous. Proficiency in parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA) and coding in Python, (or the ability to quickly learn programming languages), is an advantage. Experience with explicit dynamics (LS-DYNA, Abaqus/Explicit) such as crash simulation is highly valued. Background in coupled simulations such as thermo-mechanical analysis and fluid-structure interaction modelling also is highly desirable. With 3-5 years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial, non-research environment, you’re ready to hit the ground running. You’re confident setting up FEA simulations independently, interpreting complex results with depth, and making informed decisions based on solid engineering judgement. THIS ROLE In this role, you’ll work closely with our Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and customers to understand and define the engineering challenges we are solving. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-fidelity simulations by: * Independently building complex structural and multi-physics models from geometry clean-up and meshing, to simulating and post-processing complex real-world phenomena, integrating experimental data for model validation. * Building robust parametric CAD models (NX or CATIA) coupled with simulation pipeline automation through scripting, for executing advanced design optimization and DoE studies. * Partner with customers to address their most complex engineering challenges through advanced FEA & AI solutions; communicate results clearly, recommend actionable next steps, and balance accuracy with efficiency under tight deadlines. * Working at the intersection of CAE and Data Science to generate high-quality simulation datasets for training Machine/Deep Learning models. Leveraging data sampling techniques to efficiently capture the design space, reduce computational cost, and enhance model accuracy. * Accelerate high-fidelity modelling by using Flux (our cloud platform) and on-premise HPC resources, going beyond smart meshing and model setup to achieve real performance gains. * Continuously improving engineering best practices, adapting FEA model setups and outputs to support the development of Deep Learning surrogates. * Documenting workflows and results comprehensively via technical reports and process documentation that enable knowledge transfer and support reproducible engineering methodologies * Combining project leadership with a strong commitment to mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to a culture of collaboration, growth, and shared success. * Traveling globally (North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania) up to 2–3 weeks per quarter to work side-by-side with customers in building solutions on-site. You are adept at automating these tools to create scalable optimisation workflows. Experience in parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA) and coding in Python (or the ability to pick up new programming languages quickly) is an advantage. With 5–7 years of industry experience (post-MEng, MSc, or PhD) in a commercial environment, you are ready to hit the ground running. You are confident setting up simulations independently, interpreting complex results with rigour, and making sound decisions grounded in solid engineering judgement. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Proficiency in CFD solvers across open-source OpenFOAM and commercial platforms as a plus (Star-CCM+, Fluent or equivalent), including custom solver and boundary condition development. * Develop multiphase flow models for gas-liquid, solid-liquid, VOF, Euler-Euler/Euler-Lagrange approaches) across a range of industrial and process engineering applications. * Model non-Newtonian and complex fluid rheology modelling, including high-viscosity, shear-thinning, or particle-laden flow regimes * Reactive and coupled-physics flow modelling — link CFD with reaction kinetics, heat transfer, or domain-specific process models (e.g. biokinetic, combustion, or electrochemical frameworks) * Own meshing generation and strategy for complex industrial geometries, including rotating machinery, internal flow passages, spargers, and free-surface interfaces * Build robust parametric CAD models (NX, CATIA, or equivalent) tightly coupled with simulation pipelines, enabling automated design optimisation and DoE studies * Multi-physics model development end-to-end: geometry clean-up, meshing, solver setup, post-processing, and experimental data integration for model validation * Scale-up/scale-down methodology — translate small-scale experimental data to full-scale CFD models and iterating model fidelity against physical measurements * HPC experience: job scheduling, MPI-based distributed computing, GPU acceleration, and performance tuning for large-mesh transient simulations on cloud (Flux) and on-premise resources * Surrogate modelling and ML-CFD coupling — build reduced-order or AI surrogate models from high-fidelity CFD data to support design space exploration and process optimisation * Data pipeline literacy — structuring and curate CFD output datasets for downstream AI/ML training, active learning, and Pareto optimisation workflows; applying data sampling techniques (LHS, quasi-random, adaptive) to efficiently cover design space * Experimental validation workflows — compare simulation predictions against physical test data, interpreting discrepancies, and systematically improving model fidelity * Customer-facing delivery — partner with clients to scope and address complex engineering challenges via CAE and AI solutions; communicating results clearly, recommending actionable next steps, and balancing accuracy with efficiency under commercial deadlines ENGINEERING AND WORKFLOW * 5–7 years post-graduate experience  * MEng, MSc, or PhD in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering * Python scripting and simulation automation * DoE, surrogate modelling, and design space exploration * Parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA advantageous) * Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences   WHAT WE OFFER Build what actually matters Help shape an AI-native engineering company at a formative stage, tackling problems that genuinely matter for industry and society.
