Role Summary
We are looking for a cyber security engineer to work with our future challenges of battery and thermal control systems for electrified vehicles. You will be part of a line group consisting of 18 skilled and passionate engineers within various competence areas. You will work closely and share the cyber security work responsibility with the cyber security manager. The work is conducted in a global agile landscape.
You will work with cyber security artifacts such as TARA, cyber security concept, requirements, monitoring controls, reviews and more. You will carry out your own deliveries as well as support others with your expertise in cyber security topics.
Our organization is highly focusing on AI usage and the role can potentially be combined with part time work on developing and prototyping AI tools that solve engineering problems and improve team productivity, supporting many different competence areas within our organization.
Who You Are
You have a master degree in computer science, information technology, engineering physics, electrical engineering or equivalent and +5 years of experience from working with vehicle embedded systems. Previous experience from working with either cyber security in automotive industry (ISO21434, UN ECE R155/156) or functional safety (ISO26262) is required. Domain knowledge in battery and thermal control systems is meritorious.
Curiosity in AI, developing AI agents and LLM-based solutions, with solid Python programming skills to build automations, integrate APIs, and rapidly prototype tools.
You are comfortable with taking lead in the work and enjoy involving your colleagues. Your problem-solving skills and your capacity to adapt to changing circumstances will be your best tool and advantage in this position. We are a large organization with a great deal of cross-functional collaboration and your skills in communication and building relationships will be appreciated. Good knowledge in English is required.

We are now looking for a Lead Security Engineer to take full ownership of Apotea’s security strategy, ensure compliance, and enable teams to build and innovate securely at scale.
The Role As Lead Security Engineer, you will define, implement, and evolve security practices across AWS (serverless-first), e-commerce, logistics, and data platforms. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering — you will implement security yourself while empowering others to do so.
You will act as the first-line technical security lead, defining guardrails, monitoring risks, and leading incident response. You will develop secure practices for coding with AI assistants, ensuring generated code meets security standards, avoids data leakage, and aligns with regulations. You will also communicate complex security concepts clearly across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Security Leadership
Own and evolve Apotea’s security strategy across cloud, applications, and infrastructure.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into sustainable security practices.
Define guardrails, best practices, and reference implementations for teams.
Hands-On Security Engineering
Design and implement secure AWS serverless and data-driven systems.
Lead IAM practices, enforcing least-privilege and zero-trust.
Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, and patching.
Ensure secure DevSecOps pipelines and IaC security.
Monitoring & Incident Response
Build and operate monitoring, detection, and alerting systems (SIEM, EDR, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
Lead incident response: investigate, contain, and recover from security events.
Maintain and test playbooks for emerging threats.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure GDPR, healthcare regulations, and industry standards compliance.
Embed security and privacy by design across development.
Partner with legal, compliance, and business units for regulatory readiness.
Provide training and frameworks for safe AI usage without compromising security.
Collaboration & Culture
Work closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to integrate security early.
Mentor engineers in secure coding and infrastructure practices.
Advocate for a strong security culture.
Qualifications
Extensive experience as a security engineer and organization’s main security expert.
Proven expertise in securing AWS (IAM, networking, serverless, encryption, monitoring).
Strong background in designing secure, scalable, cloud-native systems.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, secrets management.
Deep knowledge in DevSecOps and IaC (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
Programming/scripting skills: Go, TypeScript, .NET, Python, or similar.
Nice to Have: experience in regulated industries, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS), or red/blue team operations.

Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to drive the technical execution and implementation of our cloud and hosting platforms, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. In this role, you will turn architectural vision into working services, providing hands-on engineering leadership while collaborating closely with architects to align on best practices and trade-offs. You bring proven experience working with hybrid hosting environments (Azure, GCP, and on-premises) and a strong ability to build, automate, and operate platforms at scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In addition to above you will be working on:
Strategic Planning & Execution: Translate the long-term hosting strategy aligned with H&M’s business, digital, and sustainability goals, to technical roadmap.Drive the transition from legacy infrastructure to cloud-native and containerized platforms.
Engineering Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of hosting platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.Oversee infrastructure-as-code, automation, and DevOps integration to enable self-service and agility.
Platform Architecture & Optimization: Ensure hosting platforms are scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized. Collaborate with FinOps teams to monitor usage, forecast demand, and manage cloud spend.
Security & Compliance: Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure secure-by-design hosting environments.Ensure adherence to standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
Collaboration & Governance: Work closely with application teams, product owners, and enterprise architects to align hosting capabilities with business needs.Establish governance frameworks for cloud and on-prem resource provisioning, access control, and lifecycle management.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., serverless, edge computing, AI infrastructure) and recommend adoption strategies. Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and operational excellence.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with 3+ years in a strategic or leadership role.
Proven experience with hybrid hosting environments (Azure, GCP, and on-premises).
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, virtualization, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or FinOps Certified Practitioner are a plus.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
