Som Senior IT Category & Vendor Manager kommer du att ha en central roll i att utveckla och driva organisationens strategi för
IT-leverantörer och externa IT-investeringar.
Du förväntas ta ett helhetsansvar för IT-kategorin och bidra med den struktur, professionalitet och marknadskunskap som krävs för
att skapa ett mer proaktivt och affärsdrivet arbetssätt. Idag finns delar av arbetet på plats, men flera processer hanteras ad
hoc. Därför söker vi en person som har erfarenhet av att etablera governance, skapa tydliga arbetssätt och bygga upp en
långsiktigt hållbar modell för leverantörsstyrning och sourcing.
Rollen innebär ett nära samarbete med IT-ledning, inköp, ekonomi och övriga verksamheten för att säkerställa att
leverantörsstrategier, investeringar och kommersiella beslut stödjer organisationens övergripande IT-strategi och affärsmål.

SENIOR IT BUYER / PROCUREMENT & VENDOR MANAGER Location: Stockholm Assignment: Full-time (100%) Duration: Approximately 6 months ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is looking for an experienced Senior IT Buyer / Procurement & Vendor Manager to join their procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional with a strong background in IT sourcing, supplier management, and strategic procurement who enjoys driving business improvements and working closely with both internal stakeholders and global suppliers. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior IT Buyer / Procurement & Vendor Manager, you will lead sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution while building strong supplier relationships and supporting procurement transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive category strategies, and contribute to procurement excellence across the organisation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead, prepare, and execute sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier negotiations, escalations, and supplier relationship management. * Drive sourcing strategy, category management initiatives, and procurement process improvements. * Support business development by driving sourcing-related change management initiatives. * Participate in internal forums and represent procurement in sourcing-related discussions, projects, and initiatives. * Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. * Support category managers in executing sourcing strategies and category plans. * Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier performance improvements. * Monitor supplier performance and compliance as part of the Supplier Risk Management programme. * Manage key supplier relationships and act as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors. * Report sourcing results, savings, and procurement performance. WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS * At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within IT sourcing. * A strong background in IT sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. * Experience leading sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and vendor management. * Experience with category management and procurement strategy. * Familiarity with change management initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, ideally in international or cross-border environments. * Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge; Power BI experience is an advantage. * A university degree in Engineering, IT, Economics, Law, or another relevant field, combined with a strong business mindset and technical interest. * Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills. * A strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement. * A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong prioritisation skills. * Experience working within a global matrix organisation is highly desirable. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * A Bachelor’s degree (a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute). * Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or a specialized logistics role in a fast-paced environment. * Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications and experience with sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, etc).
