ABOUT VSCO For years, we've helped photographers create their work. Now we're building what comes next. VSCO exists for photographers. Not as a side feature, not as an afterthought, but as the whole point. We build the connected system photographers rely on, and we've spent over a decade earning the trust of a global creative community that takes the craft seriously. Photography is at an inflection point. AI is reshaping what's possible for creative work, and that's where our mission shines. VSCO is building the full photographer's workflow: from creating and editing your work, to delivering it to clients, to running your business. All of it built thoughtfully, with photographers leading the way. We believe the future of photography tools creates more space for creativity, handling the busy work so photographers can focus on the craft. If you care about craft, community, and what technology can unlock for creative people, this is the work. We're a mission-driven and focused company where your work ships quickly, is meaningful, and reaches tens of millions of people worldwide. You'll have a real say in what we build and how we build it. We hire people who don't wait to be asked, naturally connect the dots, care about the quality of what they ship, and believe the best outcomes come from building together. ABOUT YOU People Operations is where a company's values become real: in how someone experiences their first day, how people are set up to do great work, how a compensation change gets communicated, how a policy actually gets followed. We're hiring a People Operations Specialist who wants to own the systems and processes behind VSCO's employee and contractor experience, and who gets genuine satisfaction from making things run cleanly at scale. You'll work closely with our CEO and People Team to build and manage the infrastructure behind our workforce: our HRIS and contractor management systems, onboarding and offboarding workflows, compliance processes, and the data and reporting that help us make good decisions about our people. This isn't a generalist HR role. It's built for someone who thinks like an operator and an analyst: someone who sees a manual, inconsistent process and can't help but turn it into something clean, repeatable, and built for efficiency. If you're 3-5 years into your career, love building and managing systems that quietly make everything work better, and want to grow into a broader People or Operations leadership role, this is that opportunity. This role reports directly to the CEO and is based out of our San Francisco, CA office (minimum 3 days/week in office). THE DAY-TO-DAY OWN PEOPLE SYSTEMS & INFRASTRUCTURE * Own and maintain our HRIS, contractor management platforms, and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across the employee and contractor lifecycle * Evaluate, implement, and improve the tools that support hiring, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and contractor engagement * Build reporting and dashboards that give leadership visibility into headcount, org structure, contractor spend, and workforce trends DELIGHTFUL EMPLOYEE & CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE * Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for both employees and contractors, ensuring a smooth, well-documented experience at every step * Own contractor classification, agreements, and renewals in partnership with Legal and Finance, keeping VSCO compliant as the contractor base grows * Coordinate benefits administration, leave management, and other lifecycle processes with accuracy and discretion BUILD SMARTER SYSTEMS, DRIVE SHARPER DECISIONS * Identify where existing people processes are manual, inconsistent, or breaking down, and design scalable systems to replace them * Use data to answer questions about the workforce, such as turnover, time-to-hire, and contractor utilization, and in collaboration with leadership, turn findings into clear recommendations * Document policies and processes so they're easy to follow, easy to audit, and easy to hand off as the team grows AIRTIGHT COMPLIANCE & PAYROLL OPERATIONS * Keep VSCO compliant with employment and contractor regulations across the jurisdictions we operate in * Own recurring compliance workflows, including onboarding documentation, I-9/employment eligibility processes, required employee notices, and employee file maintenance * Partner with Finance and external vendors to coordinate payroll inputs, audits, employee changes, contractor payments, and related reporting ELEVATE VSCO’S CULTURE * Partner with the CEO and leadership team on policy updates, handbook maintenance, and internal communications about people programs * Support culture-building efforts, including team offsites, all-hands logistics, employee appreciation, and the operational backbone of a great employee experience QUALIFICATIONS * 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, People Systems, or a related operational role * Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Sapling and Lattice, and contractor management systems * Strong systems thinker: you build processes that scale, not workarounds that hold * Enjoy working with data: you can build a report, spot a trend, and turn data into clear insights that leadership and managers can use to support decisions * Working knowledge of core employment and contractor compliance fundamentals, or the ability to get there quickly * Excellent written communicator: clear, concise, and precise, especially when documenting policy or process so that employees clearly understand * High discretion and judgment: you handle sensitive employee and contractor information with care * Fluent using AI tools: you use them to work faster and think better, not as a substitute for creativity or judgment * Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and workflow automation opportunities that improve the employee experience while reducing manual administrative work. WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT * You've built or overhauled a people system or process before, taking it from messy to reliable * You’re great at organizing and documenting company policies ensuring they are effectively understood by everyone * You're naturally analytical, and default to data over gut feel when making recommendations * You're excited to grow: you see this role as a launchpad into broader People, Operations, or business leadership * You take ownership without waiting to be asked, and you sweat the details that others miss * You've worked with both employees and contractors and understand the practical differences between them * You're energized by the idea of shaping how VSCO's people function operates as the company scales COMPENSATION The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for bonuses and equity (i.e. stock options). The benefits available for this position include flexible time off, a 401K retirement plan, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short and long term disability), and 11 paid holidays. We also provide paid sick time as required by state and local law. Additional benefits and perks are also offered for this position. The application window for this role will be open until at least August 28th. This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.

ABOUT THE ROLE Reddit is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the product management of our Finance SaaS portfolio, our systems that run treasury, planning, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, quote-to-cash, payroll, and equity. This is a player-coach role: you'll coach and manage a small team of SaaS product managers who each own a domain of Finance's application stack, while personally owning your own set of applications as a player. This role serves as the orchestration layer for Finance and AI Transformation, requiring you to advise senior executives, influence strategic direction, and navigate complex matrixed environments to translate high-level strategy into measurable business outcomes. You set the product vision and roadmap across the Finance SaaS landscape, decide what gets built and bought, drive adoption, and own the vendor relationships that underpin the stack. You partner closely with the Enterprise Architecture & Engineering team. They own how systems are built and integrated; you own what we build, why, and when. You will be at the forefront of our AI-first finance strategy, championing the next generation of intelligent automation to redefine efficiency and scalability across our global operations. If you're energized by translating complex finance processes into clean, well-run systems, thrive at the seam between business and technology, and want to both lead a team and stay close to the product yourself, this role is for you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership * Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for Reddit's Finance SaaS portfolio across P2P, R2R, QTC, payroll & equity, and treasury/investments/EPM. * As the lead for Finance & AI Transformation, you are the catalyst for shifting Reddit’s finance teams from manual processes to AI-enabled workflows. This includes championing a “finance engineer” mindset, proactively identifying AI use cases for close automation and anomaly detection, and fostering a culture where data-driven innovation is embedded in our operating model. * Translate Finance's priorities (e.g., close acceleration, scalability, public-company rigor, M&A) into a sequenced, defensible roadmap. * Lead build-vs-buy and vendor selection decisions; serve as the product voice in Finance technology investments alongside the Enterprise Architect. * Define and enforce a consistent product operating model across the team: intake, prioritization, release management, change management, and adoption measurement. * Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes through AI-enabled workflows, reconciliations, anomaly detection, approval copilots, and close automation. * Drive roadmap prioritization using measurable outcomes such as close cycle reduction, automation rates, SOX compliance effectiveness, and Finance productivity improvements. * Establish a single, transparent demand pipeline so Finance stakeholders can see what's planned, in flight, and shipped. * Assess the end-to-end finance processes to identify manual workflows, process gaps, control weaknesses, data quality issues, and opportunities to improve and enable AI-powered solutions.. * Create a cross-functional decision framework for Finance capabilities, including clear ownership, intake, prioritization, readiness criteria, and business sign-off. * Identify, design, and launch new features and system capabilities that enhance user efficiency while driving incremental value for the business. * Partner with finance leadership to enable AI use across teams, fundamentally shifting the organization toward a "finance engineer" mindset where finance teams are empowered to build, automate, and innovate within our systems. * Drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R), ensuring alignment between process improvements and long-term scalability. Strategic Orchestration & Influence * Advise senior Finance and Tech leadership on roadmap trade-offs, balancing speed, risk, and long-term impact. * Navigate organizational dynamics to secure alignment across Finance, Tech, and Business partners. * Promote harmony between internal teams and external integration partners by resolving bottlenecks and managing cross-functional dependencies. * Lead a rigorous diligence program to evaluate and optimize system performance, workflows, and adoption metrics to strengthen operational quality. Team Leadership * Directly manage a team of SaaS product managers, each owning a Finance domain (P2P & R2R, QTC, Payroll & Equity). * Set clear direction and priorities for each domain, and create space for deep, high-quality product work. * Develop your team's craft through roadmap review, stakeholder coaching, and regular 1:1s focused on growth. * Serve as an escalation point and thought partner when your PMs hit ambiguity, contention over priorities, or cross-functional friction. * Build the bench: define the team's coverage model, identify gaps, and grow the function as Finance scales. Hands-On Product Ownership: * Maintain direct ownership over a specific set of applications, leading their product roadmaps and managing key stakeholder relationships. * This isn't a purely managerial role: you'll run intake, prioritize enhancements, manage releases, and partner directly with Finance and the Eng team to deliver in your own portfolio. * Stay close enough to the work to credibly coach your team and make sharp product tradeoffs. Vendor and Demand Management * Own Finance SaaS vendor relationships at the portfolio level: renewals, SLAs, roadmap influence, escalations, and spend rationalization. * Bring a demand-management mindset to intake; help Finance stakeholders articulate needs, size effort, and sequence work effectively rather than absorbing every request. * Partner with Procurement and Finance leadership on tooling spend, contract timing, and consolidation opportunities. * Maintain a clear view of total cost of ownership and license utilization across the stack. Stakeholder Partnership * Act as the primary product liaison for Finance leadership, translating business requirements into roadmap decisions and communicating tradeoffs clearly. * Partner with FP&A, Technical Accounting, Revenue, Treasury, Payroll, and Finance Operations to understand pain points and proactively surface system improvements. * Work hand-in-glove with the Enterprise Architect and Engineering team to land integrations, data quality, and technical delivery against the product roadmap. * Support M&A activity (e.g., systems due diligence, gap analysis, integration sequencing, and adoption planning for acquired entities). WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 8+ years in product management, business/finance systems, or finance transformation, including 2+ years directly managing people. * Demonstrated ownership of Finance SaaS platforms across multiple domains (ERP, EPM/CPM, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, or payroll). * Track record of building and running a product/intake operating model: roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, release and change management. * Strong vendor management chops: selection, renewals, SLAs, and influencing vendor roadmaps * Prior people management experience, with a track record of developing PM or systems-analyst talent. * Strong ability to operate across abstraction levels: comfortable in an executive roadmap discussion and in the configuration details of a specific platform. * Excellent communication skills: you can frame a portfolio strategy for a CFO and a sprint priority for an engineer in the same afternoon. * Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit readiness, SOX requirements, data quality, and compliance impacts. * Experience defining close transformation roadmaps, reconciliation strategies, reporting readiness plans, and UAT strategies. * Proven success scaling products and owning business outcomes in high-growth, complex environments. BONUS POINTS * Experience at a high-growth public technology company * Familiarity with Reddit's existing Finance tech stack (NetSuite, Workato, Adaptive, Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Workday, Salesforce or comparable) or similar environments * Familiarity with advertising platforms and transformation initiatives spanning quote-to-cash or procure-to-pay workflows * Experience supporting M&A workstreams (diligence, integration, cutover) * Exposure to SOX compliance considerations in finance systems * Background partnering with Corporate Engineering or shared-services models WHY THIS ROLE, WHY REDDIT Reddit's Finance organization is scaling rapidly through organic growth, internal investments, and increasing public-company rigor. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Finance technology evolves at a consequential moment: owning the product direction for a portfolio that touches every corner of the company, leading a team, and keeping your own hands on the work. You'll have the autonomy to set direction, the team support to execute, and the organizational access to make product decisions that stick. Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
