Vi söker nu en driven och analytisk R&D-ingenjör med specialistkompetens inom kromatografi och metodutveckling till ett längre uppdrag hos ett av Sveriges ledande Life Science-företag i Uppsala. I denna roll kommer du att arbeta i en forskningsnära och laboratorieinriktad miljö, där du bidrar till utvecklingen av nya produkter och förbättring av befintliga processer. Utföra analyser med hjälp av kromatografi (HPLC/LC/GC) och andra analytiska tekniker.

PhD eller MSc inom analytisk kemi, biokemi, kemiteknik eller liknande relevant område.
Erfarenhet av kvantitativ kromatografi (HPLC/LC/GC) och masspektrometri.
Erfarenhet av metodutveckling och validering inom analytisk kemi.
Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska.
Erfarenhet inom Life Science
Erfarenhet av forskning och projektarbete i industrimiljö.
Kunskap om statistisk analys och erfarenhet av avancerade analytiska verktyg.
Erfarenhet av GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) och regulatoriska krav inom Life Science.

Lyten Sweden is seeking a professional Senior Battery Simulation Engineer o join our R&D organisation in Västerås. The Senior Battery Simulation & Modelling Engineer will develop and validate advanced simulation models for battery cells, including performance, degradation, thermal, swelling, and mechanical behaviour. The role supports current NMC products, future battery chemistries, and customer-facing simulation solutions. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Battery Model Development Develop and maintain simulation models for battery cells, supporting current chemistry products and next-generation chemistries. Performance Modeling Develop and validate performance models, including ECM-based approaches, to predict battery behavior and support BMS applications. Lifetime & Degradation Modeling Develop and calibrate lifetime prediction models to accurately estimate battery aging, performance degradation, and end-of-life behavior. Thermal Modeling Develop 3D thermal simulation models to predict temperature distribution and support thermal management optimization. Swelling & Mechanical Modeling Develop swelling and mechanical models to predict cell expansion, deformation, and structural behavior throughout battery life. Safety & Venting Simulation Develop simulation models for vent deformation and pressure-related mechanical behavior to support battery safety assessments. Validation & Model Correlation Parameterize, validate, and continuously improve simulation models using experimental and product validation data. Requirements Educational background and previous experience required for the role. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor or higher in Electrochemistry/chemistry/material/mechanical or a related discipline 8+ years of experience in lithium-ion battery development and modeling. Strong industrial experience supporting automotive, ESS, or other advanced battery programs. Proven experience developing simulation models for rechargeable battery systems. Experience working directly with OEM customers and customer-facing engineering projects. Experience with prismatic cell development is highly preferred. Specific skills Strong expertise in electrochemical, thermal, degradation, swelling, and mechanical battery modelling. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, COMSOL Multiphysics, LS-DYNA, and ANSYS simulation tools. Experience in model parameterization, validation, optimization, and correlation with experimental data. Knowledge of multi-physics simulation and battery safety analysis is highly desirable. Lyten Sweden is seeking a professional Quality Control Technician to join our R&D organization in Västerås. In this role you will be responsible for analysing materials, incoming parts, product intermediates and finalized products for R&D, production and external suppliers using a wide range of instruments. You will participates in problem solving, technical troubleshooting exercises and technical discussions where needed. Key responsibilities (including but not limited to) Write the testing plans for materials, incoming parts, product intermediates and finalized products Perform testing of control plan inspection items using a variety of laboratory instruments Perform data analysis/interpretation and report according to quality standards Be able to troubleshoot first of line problems arising on the instruments Drive method improvements; help update standard operating procedures as needed Perform regular (daily, weekly, monthly) preventive maintenance on instruments Become familiar with the fundamentals of quality assurance and quality control principles and relevant quality management system requirements (control plan, non-conformity management, deviation and change management, control samples and control charts, calibration management, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO17025, etc.) Adhere to and ensure 5S and safety protocols are maintained within the laboratory work environment Always work with safety as first priority Requirements Qualifications and experience Bachelor´s degree (or technical school degree) in Chemistry or a technical field is preferred. The Senior Engineer of Material Development will lead the evaluation, analysis, and optimization of Li battery cells and related materials. This role involves providing technical leadership, guiding junior engineers, and ensuring the successful execution of evaluation activities that support both R&D and commercial cell development. The position requires a deep understanding of material behaviour, electrochemical performance, and cell integration to drive continuous improvement in product performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Overall areas of responsibilities and activities Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Lead and oversee material and cell-level evaluation activities, including electrochemical performance testing, material characterization, and failure analysis. Develop and refine evaluation methodologies, standard test protocols, and data analysis frameworks to ensure consistency and technical rigor. Interpret complex analytical and electrochemical data to identify key performance drivers and recommend technical improvements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and assist in the prioritization and execution of project tasks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—cell design, process engineering, and quality assurance—to align evaluation results with design and manufacturing objectives. Manage multiple evaluation tasks or projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results and documentation. Contribute to long-term strategy and roadmap development by identifying material or process-related risks and opportunities for improvement. Stay updated on advancements in Li battery technology, materials science, and analytical techniques, and apply relevant insights to ongoing projects. Extensive experience in Li battery evaluation, materials analysis, or related R&D areas. Preferably 5+ years industrial experience. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multi-functional teams. Capable of translating analytical findings into actionable engineering insights and project recommendations. High level of self-direction, accountability, and technical judgment in complex problem-solving scenarios. Specific skills Advanced analytical capability in using EIS, GITT, GCPL, and high-precision cycling methods. Experience with material analysis tools (SEM/EDS, XPS, ICP, TGA/DSC). Ability to design experiments and establish evaluation protocols. Strong statistical and data interpretation skills for performance trend analysis.
