BookBeat i korthet
böcker, marknadsföring & försäljning, ekonomi, affärsutveckling och people operations.
YOUR MISSION AT VOI As an Engineering Manager at Voi, you will lead and grow a cross-functional product team while staying close to the code. This role is ideal for a strong technical lead ready to take a first step into people management – someone who wants to shape team culture, support engineers’ growth, and drive delivery without leaving their technical roots behind. The Monetisation team owns Voi’s core payment flows, subscriptions, upsell and in-app advertising. The technical scope spans core backend systems, payment integrations, native mobile client views and more. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into leadership while having a tangible impact on the micromobility industry. * Be a present, hands-on leader for a team of 4–5 engineers: run 1:1s, support growth and create a safe, collaborative environment where people do their best work. * Partner closely with the Product Manager and Designer to align on priorities, shape the roadmap and drive high-quality delivery. * Lead by doing: write code, review PRs and engage deeply in technical decisions across backend, web and mobile. * Champion engineering excellence by guiding architectural decisions, fostering good development practices and promoting continuous improvement – enabling sustainably rapid delivery in a complex micromobility business. * Coach and develop engineers through feedback, mentorship and clear expectations – with support from us if this is your first formal people management role. * Lead the team in adopting agentic engineering practices: actively use and encourage AI-assisted development and help engineers build the habits and judgement to get the most out of these tools. * Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture aligned with Voi’s values, and be a driver for inclusion and psychological safety within your team. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK You are a hands-on, collaborative engineer with a passion for both technology and people. You enjoy working across domains, take ownership of delivery and are curious about how AI can elevate the way teams build software. * 4+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer in modern tech stacks, building reliable software in a fast-paced environment. * A generalist mindset with experience in backend, web and/or mobile development. * 2+ years of experience in a tech lead, senior or informal leadership capacity – you have guided others technically, even if you have not held a management title. * No prior people management experience required – this is a growth area we will support you in. * Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (for example modern code assistants) and a genuine interest in agentic engineering workflows. You lean into these tools and help your team build the skillset to use them effectively. * Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate both technical and cross-functional conversations with ease. * Fluency in English, written and spoken. Don’t meet every requirement? If you are excited about this role and our mission, and have relevant, transferable skills, we encourage you to apply – even if you don’t check every box. WHY VOI? Working at Voi is more than just a job; our People Promise includes a personal voyage where you will grow as a professional and be a part of a team and culture that builds something meaningful for society. In addition to this you’ll have the opportunity to: * Join Europe’s #1 micromobility operator and one of the fastest growing scale-ups. * Get “skin in the game” through our employee options programme. * Enjoy unlimited free Voi rides and a dog-friendly office. * Work together with inspiring, motivated and fun colleagues towards a common goal. * Join the micromobility revolution and be a part of creating sustainable cities made for living, free from noise and pollution.
With over 40 million visits each month, you’ll be part of Sweden’s most popular property platform – and one of the world’s most admired real estate platforms. With access to vast amounts of data, you’ll have limitless opportunities to explore and create new features that enhance the experience for Sweden’s real estate agents, home buyers, and sellers. You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team where your unique perspective is truly valued. As a senior engineer, you’ll lead by example by crafting elegant code while driving architectural evolution, mentoring colleagues, and helping us build a modern, scalable platform. What you’ll do 💥 At Hemnet, we help millions of people navigate one of the biggest milestones of their lives: finding and shaping their home journey. Our team’s mission is to make that experience feel personal, inspiring, and seamless. We are looking for a collaborative backend engineer to help us build the real-time data pipelines and smart CRM integrations that deliver the right message to the right user at exactly the right time. You'll: * Build & Scale with Node.js: Design and evolve resilient backend services and APIs using Node.js, Nest.js, and GraphQL, keeping our platform fast and reliable. * Connect Our Systems: Lead the technical direction of our CRM and marketing automation integrations. You’ll ensure our data pipelines are secure, scalable, and built to last. * Bring Data to Life: Partner closely with our CRM and Marketing teams to turn user behavioral signals and segmentations into timely, meaningful automated messages. * Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as a supportive technical partner for non-technical stakeholders, translating complex backend concepts into clear, shared ideas. * Grow Together: Lift the team around you through empathetic mentorship, open knowledge sharing, and contributing to a welcoming, continuous-learning engineering culture. Who we think you are 🤩 We know that excellent engineers come from all kinds of backgrounds. You don’t need to match a rigid checklist, but we think you’ll thrive in this role if: * You have a solid foundation in backend development, with deep experience in Node.js and framework ecoystems like Nest.js. * You enjoy the unique challenges of third-party integrations, API design, and event-driven data flows. * You care just as much about the people you work with as the code you write, you value clear communication, psychological safety and diverse perspectives. * Bonus points (but not required): You’ve worked with Ruby, or you’re curious about experimenting with modern AI tooling like Claude. I am your new manager 👋 Hi! My name is Staffan, and I’ll be your new manager. I’ve been at Hemnet since 2019 and since last year working as Engineering Manager for a domain called Consumers. Our teams are currently working on many new and important areas for Hemnet – including personalization and smarter search features (including several initiatives utilizing AI to deliver next level user experience). My leadership style is listening, transparent, accessible, and supportive, while also challenging you to take your next step. Hopefully, we’ll learn a lot from each other and have plenty of fun as we break new ground at Hemnet. As a team, we get things done; we know when and where value can be added, and we’re clear on our priorities. Why did I decide to join Hemnet? I was strongly drawn to the culture and atmosphere – a wonderful combination of kindness, inclusiveness, and helpfulness, paired with high ambitions and a strong drive forward. My impression is that the people and the workplace together create the perfect foundation for you to do the best work of your career. A Note on Inclusion 💚 At Hemnet, we believe that diversity in gender, sexual orientation, ability, neurodiversity, cultural background and life experience makes us stronger. We welcome applicants of all identities and backgrounds. We build better together. At Hemnet, we believe diverse teams write better code and build better products. Even if you don’t check every single box above, we encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn just as much as past experience. Our friendly Hemnet culture fosters a dynamic, playful environment where every voice is valued. Here, you’ll join a welcoming team that encourages you to thrive and grow, working alongside passionate colleagues from around the world. An Office-First Culture 🙏 We believe in the power of connection and the importance of flexibility. Our central Stockholm office is our hub for collaboration three days a week, with two remote days to support your personal work-life balance. We prioritize a sustainable pace because we know our best work happens when we’re energized and inspired. Please note that we're unable to provide relocation assistance for this opportunity.
Anyfin is building the next generation of consumer finance. We’re profitable, scaling quickly and now operating with a banking license which opens up a lot of technical complexity. We’re looking for a senior react native engineer who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership and building things that actually have an impact. We work from the office because we think it makes us better, especially at this stage. If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading. Because honestly, it’s not a role for everyone. SMALL TEAM, HIGH RESPONSIBILITY We hire carefully. We’re not a company that grows by adding headcount everywhere, we grow by keeping the bar high and building a team where every person matters. This isn’t a place where you disappear into a big org. If you join, you’ll have real influence on what we build and how we build it. WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll take a leading role in building and evolving our mobile applications across iOS and Android. * Building and shipping new mobile features in React Native. * Designing reusable components and scalable mobile architecture. * Collaborating closely with design to deliver polished, accessible user interfaces. * Integrating with our GraphQL APIs to power seamless user experiences. * Making architectural decisions that improve performance, maintainability and developer experience. * Running experiments and iterating on features to improve user engagement and retention. * Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure reliability across releases. * Mentoring other engineers and helping raise the bar for mobile development. Tech stack: Mobile: React Native, TypeScript, Apollo Client (GraphQL) Backend you'll work closely with: Node.js/Express, GraphQL Federation, PostgreSQL, Redis Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions Product tooling: Storybook, GrowthBook HOW WE THINK ABOUT BUILDING We’re pragmatic. We like speed, but we also care about building things that last. AI is already part of how we build and not an aspiration. We use Claude, OpenAI, and Mistral in our product, and we expect our engineers to actively explore how AI tooling removes friction from day-to-day work: in code review, test writing, and prototyping. We're looking for someone who sees AI as an amplifier of craftsmanship and not a substitute for it. No ego. Just good judgment and high output. YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU… * Have strong experience building mobile apps with React Native. * Care about craftsmanship, performance and user experience. * Take responsibility naturally and don’t wait to be told what to do. * Enjoy collaborating closely with design and product. * Like being part of an ambitious team working together in the office. * Want to build and improve products, not just maintain them. You’re comfortable with things like: * React Native and modern TypeScript-based development. * Mobile architecture and reusable component design. * API integrations (GraphQL or REST). * Testing strategies for mobile applications. * Shipping real products to real users. A FEW PRACTICAL NOTES Stockholm and we're office-based, because we believe that great products and culture are better built when you meet in person. There is flexibility of course, but you should want to work on site with the rest of us most days of the week. WHY ANYFIN? Because this is one of those moments where a company is about to level up: Banking license secured, expansion ahead and a lot to build. If you want to be part of a small, high-trust team doing meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you. Apply only if you want the responsibility that comes with real impact.
