We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven SW Test Principal to lead quality assurance and test transformation for large‑scale cloud programs within Amdocs. This role is critical in ensuring end‑to‑end quality, risk mitigation, and delivery confidence across complex, multi‑vendor cloud transformation initiatives in the Nordic region.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving test strategy and execution for a major cloud transformation program, building on Amdocs’ work with Hutchison/3—marking the first full Amdocs CEP transformation across the complete technology stack, including Azure and Microsoft Dynamics.
Lead end‑to‑end testing strategy and delivery for large‑scale cloud transformation programs within Amdocs, ensuring alignment with business and program objectives.
Own quality outcomes for a major cloud transformation initiative, leveraging experience from complex programs such as Hutchison/3 or similar large BSS/OSS transformations.
Manage multi‑vendor and cross‑regional test delivery across Sweden and Denmark, ensuring consistent quality standards and seamless collaboration.
Provide matrix leadership to testing and quality resources, including Amdocs teams and regional vendor partners.
Define and govern test strategy, scope, environments, data, automation, and defect management across the program lifecycle.
Ensure strong stakeholder engagement with program leadership, customers, vendors, and engineering teams, acting as the single point of accountability for quality.
Drive risk‑based testing, go‑live readiness, and quality metrics to support confident production releases.
Champion cloud testing best practices, including Azure‑based environments, CI/CD, automation, and non‑functional testing (performance, resiliency, security).
Establish and run test governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms across all streams.

In this role, you will be one of Scania's key technical experts in ensuring that new and existing software functionality delivers real customer value - not only by adding new features, but by making sure they work reliably, can be serviced efficiently, and contribute to high uptime for our customers.
This role is located in Södertälje, Sweden, and is part of a growing area where we are building new capabilities for software-defined vehicles.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Act as technical authority for quality, diagnostics, uptime and deviation handling across Scania's vehicle and service ecosystem.
Help improve both today's products and the next generation of software-defined vehicles.
Define principles and methods for data-driven monitoring, fault detection, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Use vehicle data and analytics to better understand issues in the rolling fleet and identify improvements faster.
Ensure that new functionality is designed with quality, serviceability and customer value in mind from the start.
Work closely with Quality, Aftermarket and Commercial functions to secure fast feedback loops and relevant corrective actions.
Support secure and scalable software updates, including OTA, to improve vehicles already in operation.
Collaborate across development, testing, operations, quality and service organisations.
Represent Scania's premium expectations in technical discussions across the wider TRATON environment.
Contribute to solutions that help workshops and service organisations resolve issues faster and more effectively.

Furthermore, we believe you have:
Extensive experience from automotive, embedded software, vehicle systems or similar complex technical environments.
Strong understanding of diagnostics, troubleshooting, quality improvement and serviceability.
Experience working with connected vehicle data, analytics and/or AI-supported insights.
Knowledge of software update strategies, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of products in operation.
Ability to lead complex technical topics across functions and organisations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical, commercial and aftermarket stakeholders.
A customer- and driver-focused mindset, with a drive to improve reliability, uptime and product value.
Fluency in English and Swedish is required, as the role includes close collaboration with Swedish-speaking stakeholders, customers and internal functions.
A relevant academic degree, such as M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience, is valued.

What You’ll Do
As a Junior HW & SW Performance Tester, you will work closely with performance engineers, QA specialists, and platform developers. You’ll contribute to both hardware and software testing activities and gradually take on more responsibility in performance, tuning, and automation environments.
Your role will include:
Hardware & System‑Level Tasks
· Mount servers, connect cables, and prepare test environments
Install and test disks, CPUs, network cards, memory, SSDs, and NVMe devices
Perform BIOS configuration and system tuning
Troubleshoot hardware‑related issues
Support wiring and physical setup of test benches
Software, Performance & OS‑Level Tasks
· Perform HW and SW performance tests on Linux‑based servers
Tune OS‑level parameters and support BIOS‑level adjustments
Test Linux‑based applications and troubleshoot performance issues
Execute and document performance, functional, and regression tests
Networking & Automation Tasks
· Work on network‑related testing (IPv4/IPv6, routing, bonding, VLANs)
Support automation activities and CI pipeline execution (Jenkins, Git/GitHub)
Write basic scripting (Python, Shell) to support test execution
Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes
Key Requirements

Din roll Du kommer att ingå i ett av våra team som jobbar med utveckling av Gripensystemet, som är ett av världens mest avancerade stridsflygplan. Primärt kommer du att jobba med vidareutveckling, förvaltning, och refaktorering av presentations- och registreringssystem i Gripen C/D. Våra mjukvaruteam jobbar med utveckling och test av mjukvarukomponenter inom Gripen C/D systemet. Vi jobbar med det delsystem som genererar cockpit HMI d.v.s. den video som presenteras i fram- och baksits. I delsystemet ingår specialframtagen hårdvara och mjukvara som bl.a. använder ett egenutvecklat grafiskt symbolikspråk för att generera de bilder som piloten ser på skärmarna. Uppdraget innebär primärt: • Design och realisering av embeddedmjukvara • Integration och funktionstestning på målplattformen i labb, simulatorer och riggar • Vidareutveckling och anpassning av testramverk och automatisering • Kodgranskning • Kravanalys • Portering, verifiering samt dokumentation av mjukvarufunktioner i samband med byte av mjukvaruplattform (RTOS och drivrutiner) • Beroende på team så sker utveckling i mixade programspråk och operativsystem, både på host och target Din profil Vi söker dig som har en passion för inbyggd mjukaruutveckling och är van att bidra i ett högpresterande team.
