We are consolidating multiple legacy CRM platforms into a single, enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics solution—introducing significant technical complexity and a clear need for strong architectural leadership. We are therefore hiring a Senior Solution Architect to: * Define the end-to-end technical architecture for WPP’s global CRM platform * Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable * Translate complex business requirements into robust, future-proof designs * Enable the successful consolidation of diverse legacy CRM solutions across agencies As Senior Solution Architect, you will be accountable for designing the technical blueprint of WPP’s enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. You will ensure alignment with WPP’s broader enterprise architecture and apply best practice across Dynamics 365. Working closely with business, functional, and technology teams, you will help shape a cohesive, integrated platform that balances global consistency with local flexibility—providing a strong and sustainable foundation for WPP’s agencies, markets, and clients. What you'll be doing: * Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical design of the global Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and the CRM roadmap * Define technical standards, design patterns, and specifications across customisation, configuration, extensions, and integrations * Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within the Dynamics ecosystem * Partner with the Global CRM Systems & Data Integration Lead to establish integration patterns across key enterprise systems (e.g. finance, marketing, identity, analytics) * Oversee the design of data migration from multiple legacy CRM platforms, ensuring integrity, consistency, and quality * Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, system integrators, and external partners throughout delivery * Evaluate and recommend Dynamics 365 capabilities, add-ons, and Azure services aligned to programme objectives * Ensure the solution meets security, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards * Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and constraints across the architecture * Contribute to Design Authority and Programme Board discussions, clearly articulating and defending architectural decisions * Support release planning and market on-boarding by ensuring technical readiness, stability, and resilience What you'll need: * Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering large-scale, global CRM transformation programmes * Deep expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (Sales, Service, and Marketing modules preferred) * Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices for enterprise applications * Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g. Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory) to integrate and extend Dynamics 365 * Solid knowledge of data modelling, migration strategies, and data governance within a CRM environment * Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, structured, and technically sound architectural designs * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including senior leaders * Proven experience collaborating with system integrators, development teams, business analysts, and functional leads in a global, federated environment * A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on sustainability, long-term value, and technical excellence * Confident in making informed technical trade-offs and clearly articulating their business impact   Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views. Role Responsibilities In your role as a Solution Architect, you will: * Define and lead delivery of data platforms, end-to-end pipelines and system integrations, managing an implementation team of experienced developers and technical consultants. * Support in the definition and implementation of best practice data engineering and governance practices. * Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs, including definition of required work packages and resourcing. * Support our clients in improving and optimizing their operating models, including resource management, technology architecture and business process. * Use your knowledge of the vendor and tool landscape, both within our client’s technology stacks and the broader market to design appropriate solutions. * Define and socialize technical approaches for implementation, eg SDLC, data migration, integrations, influencing client teams to your best practice perspective. * Input to project definition, resourcing and timelines and objectives within a workstream or project. * Drive documentation and development according to specifications and standards. * Present options and designs to business and technology stakeholders, articulating Alpha’s IP in business process design and technical delivery to clients at all levels. * Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with internal and client peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required. * Support Alpha’s internal IP with proposition and accelerator development, including at least one area of specific expertise * Take a lead in mentoring and coaching team members. Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications): * 7+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, architecture, roles, including experience with transformational projects * Hands‑on expertise with Master Data Management (MDM) platforms, with preference for modern, cloud‑native solutions like Semarchy, Profisee, Reltio, Curioum, and CluedIn; experience with established enterprise platforms including GoldenSource, Eagle DM/PACE, and Gresham/S&P/Markit EDM is also valuable. * Strong data modeling experience, including conceptual/logical/physical modeling; experience with ERD tools like Erwin or ER/Studio is a plus * Hands-on experience leading complex integration initiatives, ETL/ELT design (AWS Glue, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, dbt) including API‑driven integration (A/synch, Web Hook/Callback, Event-driven, Bulk), event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hub), and real‑time data distribution in large business data environments * Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric/Synapse; Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns, such as data mesh, data products, and Lakehouse architectures. * Proficiency in data governance and metadata management, including stewardship models, business glossaries, lineage, and tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC. * Strong grounding in data quality and lifecycle management, including profiling, monitoring, remediation workflows, and policy‑driven controls. * Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable data architectures, incorporating best practices in access control, encryption, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, GDPR, SOC2). * Experience with data orchestration and transformation frameworks * Experience in the Asset & Wealth Management industry * Experience managing data engineering projects using Agile or other methodologies * Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations Compensation and Perks: * A competitive salary with discretionary bonus scheme based on company and personal performance * 25 days of annual paid time off * 401k matching * Sponsorship towards professional certifications / training supported with 5 days of paid training time * Choice of laptop * Supplemented medical, dental and vision coverage * North America team-wide training and employee appreciation retreats  Our Commitment to Inclusion At Alpha, diversity, equity and inclusion are critical to our success.
