perform contractual allowance calculations, and prepare monthly revenue net down journal entries. 2. Perform revenue analysis and
provide explanations for monthly and year-to-date budget-to-actual variances. 3. Assist with maintaining and updating contractual
allowance models and revenue reserve methodologies on monthly basis. 4. Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance teams to
investigate reimbursement and payment issues. 5. Reconcile general ledger accounts, including patient accounts receivable

supporting workpapers for management review. 7. Maintain monthly reconciliations between the EPIC accounts receivable subledger
and the General Ledger, investigate and resolve variances. 8. Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and respond to
auditor requests. 9. Prepare and coordinate Medicare and Medicaid cost report supporting schedules. 10. Assist with the
preparation and review of regulatory reports, including HCAI reports and other reimbursement filings. 11. Support reimbursement

TEAM DESCRIPTION The Revenue team is an extremely visible, high-performing team, ultimately responsible for accurate financial reporting of revenue. This will entail performing monthly close procedures, preparing detailed write-ups of revenue arrangements and providing recommendations for accounting-related terms during negotiations of revenue contracts. Additionally, this team is also responsible for designing and maintaining controls over reporting of revenue and assisting in quarterly forecasting activities for revenue and billings. Position Summary The Senior Accountant is an exciting and forward-facing position within the accounting department. This position will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures related specifically to the assigned line of business and focused heavily on revenue recognition. The position will interact with a variety of colleagues throughout the organization to ensure revenue, expenses and balance sheet activity are recorded in accordance with GAAP. This position will report to the Controller. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT INCLUDE: * Responsible for the month-end closing process for assigned line(s) of business including journal entries, account analysis, and financial statement preparation. * Prepare and analyze key financial metrics and revenue trends for assigned line(s) of business. * Prepare and present monthly financial analysis and trends to the business leadership and collaborate regarding future monthly financial expectations. * Understand insurance carrier data to include contracts, commissions, and policy data. * Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. * Collaborate with other team leads to prepare overall company financial reports. * Develop and maintain procedures around monthly closing. * Identify, document, and implement additional business and accounting workflows, policies, and procedures as required. * Prepare and provide required documentation for external auditors. * Participate in and contribute positively to work/team environment. * Develop and implement new processes to improve efficiency. * Special projects as needed. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
