We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Coordinator to join the HR Operations team, who wants to make an impact in the workplace every day. In this role, you will play a critical part in engaging with new employees on their onboarding experience, maintaining our employee records and HRIS (Workday), provide ongoing support to the broader HR Generalist team. Your Core Responsibilities: New Starters and Onboarding * Coordinating new hire employment contracts, onboarding paperwork and pre-employment screening. * Maintain contact with our new hires through their onboarding journey and support them with any relocation arrangements. * Coordinate new-starter inductions and liaise with key internal teams. * Manage all system updates relating to the new hire, ensuring new starter profiles have been established HRIS & Internal Systems Expert * Subject matter expert for the WorkDay system, ensuring all information is up to date (including new hire, departure, employment changes and recruitment activities) * Responsible for managing and updating all other HR related systems and tracking spreadsheets as required. * Local point of contact for the global HR Information Systems team. General Coordination * Support to the HR generalist team, including the HR Business Partner for each business area. * Local management and ownership of the annual performance review cycle. * Support with annual audit requirements (internal and external). * Administrative support to the HR Generalist for visa and sponsorship arrangements where required. * Undertaking general HR administrative duties and document drafting. * Supporting employees with day-to-day enquiries. * Ad hoc reporting and coordination in project roll outs. * Ability to work cross team/function with HR, Office Management and Managing Director EA on employee initiatives, Operations Engineering. Your Skills and Experience: * Minimum 1 year of relevant HR work experience. * Prior experience with Workday is essential, along with skills across Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. * Excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic decisions in our fast-paced environment. * Must be able work in fast paced, complex environment with sensitivity to confidential and proprietary information. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Be part of a fun and energetic team that is results oriented, self-motivated and driven. We're looking for a Campus Events & Engagement Lead to be the face of IMC across universities in Australia and New Zealand - attracting top students to IMC, engaging them through standout events and conversations, and building a pipeline of future talent that fuels our hiring for years to come. This is a role for someone who thrives on the road and gets energy from building connections. You'll spend significant time on campus across the APAC academic calendar, own our relationships with university societies and faculty, and run the engagement engine that turns first-time student contact into long-term pipeline. Your Core Responsibilities Attraction & Engagement * Be the face of IMC on campus across Australia and New Zealand - the person students, societies, and faculty know and trust. * Confidently and credibly talk through IMC's roles, streams (Trading, Quant Research, Software Engineering, Hardware), and career pathways with students at every level - from first-year info sessions to one-on-one conversations with candidates. Events, Societies & Partnerships * Own student society relationships end-to-end across our portfolio of STEM societies - from outreach through sponsorship negotiation, event delivery, and ongoing partnership management. * Own IMC's partnerships portfolio - sponsorships, prizes, competitions, hackathons, and faculty engagements. * Own in-office events that bring top students into our Sydney office: insight days, networking evenings, technical talks, and Launchpad programme touchpoints. * Plan, organise, and deliver IMC's full external campus calendar: info sessions, networking nights, careers fairs, and faculty engagements. * Travel regularly across the APAC campus calendar (Feb - May), representing IMC at universities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Auckland, and beyond. Measurement, Feedback & Continuous Improvement * Define success metrics upfront for every event, sponsorship, and partnership, and track ROI across the full campus portfolio to identify what delivers hires and cut what doesn’t. * Feed real-time insights to recruiters during peak season and flex strategy mid-season as demand shifts across streams. * Log every activity consistently and lead end-of-year retros to translate the season into clear recommendations for the year ahead. Your Skills and Experience * 2+ years of experience in campus recruitment, university engagement, brand activation, event management, sales, or a similar relationship-driven role * A natural relationship builder and strong communicator, comfortable walking into a room of students, society execs, faculty, or senior hiring managers and interacting with credibility at every level * Strong CRM discipline - hands-on experience using a recruitment CRM or ATS to manage candidate pipelines, run segmented outreach and track engagement over time * Data-aware and outcomes focused, being able to set success metrics up front, evaluate event and partnership ROI. With the ability to translate a busy season into clear, actionable retros that shape next year's strategy * Proven ability to build long-term talent pipelines - maintaining strong relationships with candidates in the pipeline for roles 12–24 months out * Highly organised with a strategic mindset - able to run multiple concurrent events and follow-up streams without things falling through the cracks. * Driven and self-directed - comfortable owning a region, making judgement calls on the road and reprioritising effectively during peak periods without needing constant sign-off * Genuinely enjoys travel and the variability of campus season, this isn't a desk job from February to May * Australian/NZ working rights essential About Us IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Organize, schedule, and oversee interviews, including candidate logistics and complex scheduling across time zones in collaboration with EAs. * Support recruiting operations and programs such as interview programs, referral programs, and ATS configurations. * Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards throughout the recruitment process. * Provide an outstanding candidate experience through clear communication, timely follow-ups, and genuine care at every stage of the process.
