What You'll Do Let's get the tricky part out of the way: this role doesn't fit neatly into a traditional box. It's part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. If you enjoy roles that stay static, this probably isn't it. Your mission is to help our clients, some of the most sophisticated in-house legal teams in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform. * Acting as a thought partner to General Counsels, Legal Operations leaders, and in-house teams - building trusted relationships, addressing tricky pain points, and identifying high-value opportunities for them to scale their use of Legora across their legal function. * Working together with Go To Market and Customer Success in taking full ownership of client relationships - from running pilots with key business units, to onboarding new team members, and ultimately guiding department-wide adoption across corporate legal teams. * Be the voice of in-house users inside Legora - sharing insights from legal ops teams, commercial lawyers, and compliance functions that directly inform product development, roadmap priorities, and strategic direction. * Delivering clear, confident product demos and training that bring the power of our platform to life - whether you're presenting to a GC, rolling out to regional teams, or training legal ops professionals. * Documenting best practices from leading legal departments, contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, and help shape how we grow this function globally. * Confidently helping in-house teams navigate one of the biggest shifts in how corporate legal operates - from evaluating the ROI and efficiency gains of AI to clearly mapping how AI will impact different functions, from contract management to regulatory compliance. What You Bring You come from the world of in-house law; but you've never been content with how things have always been done. You may have worked in a corporate legal department, juggling competing business priorities and doing more with less. Perhaps you've been in legal operations, driving efficiency and transformation initiatives. Maybe you've even moved into legal tech or consultancy, helping in-house teams modernise. Either way, you know how in-house legal teams think, work, and (sometimes) struggle and you're ready to help them level up with technology. * Have a background in law, with experience in an in-house legal team or corporate legal department - ideally with exposure to legal operations, process improvement, or technology implementation. * Are tech-curious and product-savvy. Not necessarily a coder, but passionate about navigating technical conversations, especially around things like generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity. * Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, from General Counsels to business leaders, and from lawyers to engineers. I.e. translating across disciplines is second nature to you. * Bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; and enjoy being the calm, credible presence in a fast-moving environment. * Understand how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a direct result of new and emerging technologies - whether that's streamlining contract workflows, improving matter management, or enhancing compliance processes. * Are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple client relationships at once. * Care deeply about quality, but don't get stuck in perfectionism - you get things done, and you make them better over time. * Understand the commercial realities of in-house life: doing more with limited resources, demonstrating value to the business, balancing risk and commercial objectives, and being a strategic partner rather than just a cost centre. THE ROLE As Lead Legal Engineer, you’ll operate as a player-coach: leading Legora’s most complex and high-impact client engagements while managing and developing a team of Legal Engineers. You’ll combine deep legal knowledge, product expertise, and people leadership to drive adoption, accelerate time-to-value, and deliver measurable outcomes across your clients and your team. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Leading enterprise-level pilots and implementations across multiple stakeholders and products, from discovery through go-live, with clear success metrics. * Owning priority client use cases end-to-end, shaping scalable onboarding and implementation frameworks. * Acting as a senior thought partner to clients, building trusted relationships with partners, legal ops, and innovation leaders. * Delivering executive-level demos, workshops, and presentations, clearly articulating value and handling complex objections. * Influencing internal teams (Product, Go-to-Market, Customer Success) on implementation strategy, setup, and handover. * Representing the voice of the customer, surfacing product gaps with evidence and driving them through to resolution. * Building and refining team processes, systems, and operating rhythms that scale delivery quality and team effectiveness as the Legal Engineering function grows. * Providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development support to drive individual and team growth. * Managing and developing a team of Legal Engineers, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance standards. * Leading hiring efforts for the Legal Engineering team, helping to attract and onboard top talent. WHAT YOU BRING You’ve built your career at the intersection of law, technology, delivery, and people leadership, and are comfortable owning complex work, leading senior conversations, and navigating ambiguity. ABOUT THE ROLE As an Account Director, you'll own Legora's most strategic, global, and complex accounts post-sale — guiding them from rollout through adoption, expansion, and renewal. You'll operate with high autonomy in ambiguous territory, designing engagement approaches and acting as a trusted strategic partner to Leadership, Product, and Legal Engineering. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own Legora's most strategic, global, and complex North America–headquartered accounts — driving firm-wide adoption and measurable value across a multinational footprint. * Design the value strategy across every phase of the client relationship — from rollout through adoption — defining what success looks like and architecting the path to it. * Drive sustained engagement through value-based success planning and C-suite relationships, partnering with Legal Engineering to surface high-value use cases and reframe how clients work. * Get ahead of adoption and retention risk — using data and early signals across complex, politically nuanced client organizations to activate champions, neutralize blockers, and keep momentum where others would stall. * Build with AI — automating your own workflows and equipping the team with agents and tooling that compound leverage, making Legora's AI-native way of working a competitive edge on every account. * Pilot new engagement motions where no playbook exists, turning what works into repeatable, data-informed value frameworks the team adopts. WHAT YOU BRING * 10+ years in the legal field, management consulting, client advisory, or a comparable strategic, client-facing field, managing complex, high-stakes logos. * A track record of owning client relationships end-to-end and delivering measurable impact on adoption and usage. * Meaningful experience building and sustaining C-suite relationships — trusted as an advisor at the most senior levels, with the executive presence to know when to listen, guide, or drive a decision. * Experience advising legal teams, regulated industries, or sophisticated professional services clients; legal tech or law firm experience a strong plus. * A builder who thrives in ambiguity and automates — fluent with AI, you design solutions where no playbook exists and create leverage for yourself and your team by building agents and automating workflows, not just using them. * Strong data fluency and a metrics-driven read on client health and outcomes, paired with sharp communication and storytelling.
