As a Delivery Manager in our Energy Transition & Environment team at Faculty, you will act as a pivotal commercial and delivery
lead, driving high-stakes AI transformation for the UK’s most critical partners in this space.
You will be a key point of contact for both our external clients and internal technical teams, building deep networks of influence
and solving complex challenges by bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and operational mission needs.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every project delivers meaningful, long-term

About the role As a delivery manager, you’ll own the end-to-end success of high-impact AI projects for our clients. You will be the crucial link between our customers and technical teams, ensuring on-time delivery, maximising value, and cultivating strong relationships which position Faculty as the partner of choice for future AI projects. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: * Owning the end-to-end delivery of customer projects, from initial scoping to final implementation * Collaborating with technical teams, and customers, to design innovative AI solutions that solve their challenges and leverage opportunities * Managing project development and ensuring a delivery approach that provides maximum value to the customer * Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle * Identifying new commercial opportunities and contributing to new business pitches and proposals * Developing and mentoring your peers’ taking a proactive role in building good processes and practices WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: * You have previous experience in professional services, ideally from a consulting, technology, or data background * You take full responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, from initial scoping to end-user adoption * You are an exceptional communicator, with outstanding written and verbal skills, and experience managing senior stakeholders * You are comfortable working with technical teams and have experience delivering technical projects, ideally in AI * You are a practical problem-solver, identifying potential issues and proactively implementing solutions OUR RECRUITMENT ETHOS We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. The Opportunity We're hiring a Senior Delivery Manager to take ownership of complex client projects and programmes end-to-end. You'll be the person clients trust to tell them hard truths, protect scope, and deliver - while the client principal focuses on account growth. This is a high-impact role at the heart of how we deliver, and a key part of how we're evolving our delivery model as we scale. The role Negotiate and manage product scope to deliver maximum value on fixed-price and time/materials engagements Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding product owner decisions on trade-offs and priorities Manage the flow of requirements from client to team, maintaining a healthy backlog and driving visual management practices Own the delivery plan; producing, maintaining, and communicating it throughout the engagement Run agile ceremonies and solve day-to-day delivery problems before they escalate Monitor effort, forecast accurately, and ensure delivery operates within contract terms Build long-term client relationships, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and owning RAID management Mentor junior delivery managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business What We're Looking For You're a seasoned delivery professional who knows when to push back and when to flex. You build trust quickly with senior stakeholders by proactively communicating on the delivery plan, relating it back to business needs and providing sound judgement. You spot the risks, challenge broken processes, and leave projects in better shape than you found them.
