You’ll join our Product Design team, a small, multi-disciplinary group of Product, Content and Motion Designers, and UX
Researchers.
We care deeply about solving user problems, creating joyful user experiences, delivering impact, and maintaining a high bar for
craft. We challenge each other, learn together, and believe that doing great work should be fun.
This role is focused on leading high-impact product design on the ZOE app.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics, sometimes embedded within a team and sometimes working
across multiple areas where your impact is most needed.
You'll work hands-on within product squads, using design as a problem-solving tool, shaping what we build. You'll take work from
early problem framing through to high-quality execution, helping teams move from ambiguity to clarity.
You'll raise the bar through the work you produce, your critical thinking, and how you collaborate— bringing strong product taste,
native app experience, and a deep focus on outcomes.

It leads squads in partnership with Product Management and Engineering, shaping strategy and decisions from ideation all the way to delivery, with direct and visible impact on both the product and the business. We're precisely looking for a Mobile Product Designer to co-lead one of our Product Squad. This is a highly strategic role where you'll help shape product strategy, design experiments, and deliver end-to-end product initiatives focused on impacting growth, retention, and monetization across a product used by millions of users. You'll spend time understanding user behaviour, exploring solutions, validating ideas, and refining experiences based on real-world data, all for the sake of shipping quality experiences. We don’t expect everything to be perfect from the get-go though, so expect iteration at every occasion! This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys balancing product thinking with strong craft, and who wants their work to have a visible impact on business outcomes and user experience alike. YOUR RESPONSIBILITES * Lead product design projects from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration * Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Brand Marketing, Data Analysts, Legal and Trust&Safety to solve meaningful user problems * Contribute to product strategy, experimentation, and roadmap discussions * Design mobile-first experiences across iOS and Android with strong attention to usability, accessibility, and visual quality * Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful product experiences * Use analytics, feedback and competitive insights to formulate design decisions * Create prototypes and test concepts to validate ideas quickly * Help evolve and maintain Yubo's design system and contribute to design consistency across the product * Advocate for high-quality user experiences while remaining pragmatic about delivery and iteration TOOLS WE USE: * Figma * Amplitude * Notion * Enterpret * Slack * AI tooling: Dust, Claude Code / Codex (prototyping & daily workflow) WHO YOU ARE: * You have 3-4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within consumer mobile applications * You are comfortable owning projects from problem definition through launch * You combine strong visual design skills with solid product thinking * You know how to use data, research, and user feedback to guide decisions * You can communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * You enjoy collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams * You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve * You have the conviction to make bold design calls and defend them * You design with the user at the center * Experience with social, community, social discovery, gaming, or consumer subscription products is a plus WITHIN A MONTH, YOU WILL: * Get familiar with Yubo's product, users, business model, and design principles * Build relationships with your Product Squad and key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data, Brand, Trust&Safety * Understand current product priorities, ongoing experiments, and major user journeys * Learn how we use data and research to make product decisions * Start contributing to design discussions and smaller initiatives WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU WILL: * Own the design of your squad's key initiatives end to end, from discovery and experimentation to polished, shipped mobile experiences that move your squad's objectives. * Use data, user insight and experimentation to frame problems, validate your design decisions, and measure their impact after launch. * Contribute beyond your squad to the broader design team, raising the craft bar, strengthening our design system, and influencing product decisions across the company.
