ABOUT THE TEAM At Stripe, managers grow teams and inspire them to do their best work. We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious IT Leader to manage our Corporate Network Team. This is a hands-on role that continually assesses the needs of our fellow Stripes, driving efficiencies and services that improve productivity. You'll lead a global team focused on delivering world-class office networks and self-serve tooling. Stripe is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes a large reliance on technology and our corporate network infrastructure. We're looking for someone comfortable working as part of a globally distributed team and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical users. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you'll lead the team responsible for powering the tooling, services, and infrastructure needed to enable Stripe at scale. You'll act as a strategic leader and technical mentor, ensuring our global corporate offices, support centers, and partner networks meet the highest design and operational standards. On any given day, you design automated provisioning tools, resolve complex undocumented network issues, or collaborate with Security and Engineering teams to implement solutions that support our rapid growth. You'll bring a process-driven mindset to the team, establishing metrics to track operational efficiency and ensuring our network remains resilient and scalable. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage and grow a global team of network engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance. * Design, build, and operate global corporate offices, support centers, partner networks, and Points of Presence (PoPs). * Develop and deploy automated provisioning, remediation, and telemetry tools to drive efficiency. * Establish metrics to track operational efficiencies and implement a process-driven mindset within the team. * Collaborate with Security, Engineering, IT, and Operations teams to develop infrastructure solutions. * Resolve complex network issues and provide support through a rotating 24/7/365 on-call schedule. * Improve and create support procedures and documentation for global network services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 2+ years of experience managing direct reports who are geographically dispersed. * Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP), Layer 2 technologies (link/chassis aggregation), and network security (IPSec VPNs). * Hands-on experience with Junos and Juniper routers, switches, and firewall hardware. * Experience building internal tools and automation at scale using Python or other scripting languages. * Comfort with Linux/Unix operating systems and the ability to troubleshoot the entire network path from client to server. * Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in high-pressure situations with discipline. * Outstanding collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with wireless design and troubleshooting, with Aruba experience a plus  * Experience with enterprise network builds, including wiring standards, gear installation, and circuit procurement   * Excited about the opportunity to travel internationally to support our global footprint.

Risk and Compliance Engineering builds products to lower financial and regulatory risk at scale for Stripe, while retaining a best-in-class user experience. We build user-facing products and backend platforms to ensure our users are compliant with regulatory and financial partner requirements. We protect the Stripe brand while also protecting the company from financial losses that can put the Stripe business at risk. The Risk TPM team is crucial to driving programs to address these challenges. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Technical Program Manager in the Risk and Compliance space, you'll play a key role across engineering, product, and strategy to drive programs that span across the Risk organization and Stripe. You'll be responsible for the successful definition, cross-functional strategy, planning, and execution of large-scale technical programs that help to solve complex problems and empower Stripe and our users. RESPONSIBILITIES • Execute on technical programs that require deep systems and engineering knowledge. • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other cross-functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion. • Develop, implement, and iterate on program management techniques, frameworks, and key performance indicators to achieve goals with well-defined success criteria. • Make substantial improvements to how the teams you work with communicate and operate to significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the teams. • Define and produce high-quality written proposals, communications and documentation. • Leverage data and acquired knowledge to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level. • Create widely circulated plans, driving consistency, clarity, and building alignment across teams. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management experience. • You have excellent analytical skills, digest complex information, and make recommendations. • You have a track record of providing program management during all phases of software development from kickoff to launch, demonstrating critical thinking, challenging the norms, and thought leadership. • You have very strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders, teams, and senior leaders around the organization. • You drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions and bring a wealth of experience, opinions, proposals, and best practices. • Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones. We're looking for a senior Technical Program Manager who's passionate about solving problems in the complex payments landscape, not only serving our customers but also our financial partners and regulatory stakeholders.Payments continues to see innovations such as an acceleration in payment methods coming online in the form of Buy Now Pay Later, Digital Wallets, and Crypto payments. Such payment methods provide more benefits to merchants and enable functionality that was not present before. The Local Payment Methods team builds the platform and enables payment methods that connect to millions of Stripe users globally. We're responsible for building new product experiences that help providers to improve their integration, boost their conversion, and grow their business. We also own the end-to-end journey for users adopting new payment methods. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a TPM, you'll play a key role leading complex programs across multiple engineering, product, and cross-functional (finance, legal, compliance, risk, and other) teams spanning Stripe. You'll be an active contributor to the overall strategy of the program, drive technical decision-making, and drive the execution of the program through all phases from planning to delivery. You'll have the opportunity to implement mechanisms that make your programs effective and scale them to Stripe-level processes. RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs and initiatives. * Collaborate with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features. * Create functional specs, project and release plans, and roadmaps. * Own and execute one or more software engineering programs simultaneously. * Help drive product decisions to align with the program and sometimes broader company initiatives. * Help influence peers and managers, and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity. * Guide and manage the usage of agile methodologies to simplify project delivery.
