Do you want to take an independent role within industrial automation, working with advanced machine systems, customer-specific
deliveries and technical responsibility in projects?
At Quintus Technologies, automation is a key part of delivering world-leading high-pressure systems to customers across the globe.
Their systems are used in industries such as space, aerospace, energy, medical technology, automotive and food innovation – and
every delivery requires close collaboration between automation, electrical engineering, mechanics, project management and
production.
Quintus Technologies is now looking for an Automation Engineer who wants to take an active role in automation projects, contribute
with solid technical experience and be part of developing advanced solutions for customers around the world.
The Role
As an Automation Engineer at Quintus, you will work with automation solutions for advanced machine systems and customer-specific
deliveries. The work includes PLC and HMI programming, testing, troubleshooting and support during commissioning and customer
deliveries.
You will take responsibility for automation-related parts of the projects and drive the work forward in close collaboration with
electrical design, mechanical engineering, fluid systems, project management and production. With production located close by, you
work close to both testing and final delivery, which creates short feedback loops and a practical connection to the product.
The role also includes contributing to technical discussions, improving ways of working and supporting less experienced colleagues
in automation-related questions.
Your Profile
We believe you have solid experience from industrial automation and are confident working with PLC and HMI programming, preferably
in Rockwell and Siemens. You may have worked with advanced machinery, process equipment, production equipment or other technically
complex systems where reliability and technical precision are important.
You are used to taking responsibility in projects, solving technical problems and working closely with other disciplines.
Experience from industrial communication, fieldbus systems, cyber security considerations and support during commissioning is
valuable, as is experience from international projects or customer-specific technical solutions.
We are also interested in candidates with a strong foundation in PLC/HMI programming and some experience from industrial
automation, who are ready to grow into a role with more responsibility over time.
As a person, you are structured, responsible and technically confident. You take initiative, approach technical challenges with
curiosity and enjoy solving problems together with others. You share knowledge, support colleagues when needed and contribute to a
strong team environment.
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken is required.
