We are looking for Masons / Formworkers for a construction project in Boden, Sweden. Contract and package Contract: 10 months, with possible extension Accommodation: Provided on site Flights: Covered PPE/EPI: Covered Salary: Hourly wage, based on hours worked Role The Mason / Formworker will work under the responsibility of the Team Leader and will carry out masonry and construction tasks according to site instructions, safety rules and quality requirements. Main tasks Erect supporting structures such as scaffolding, shoring and platforms. Excavate and level foundations. Build walls, facades and partitions using bricks, concrete blocks, plasterboard or similar materials. Install and seal prefabricated elements such as reveals, lintels, cornices and stairs. Prepare and apply mortars, coatings and related materials. Make, finish and smooth joints. Follow health, safety, quality and environmental rules on site. Keep the workstation clean and organized. Report any issues, defects or dangerous situations. Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience in traditional masonry is required. CAP Traditional Masonry or equivalent qualification is desirable. CACES Manitou or aerial work platform training is desirable. Experience with masonry, mortar, blocks, walls, foundations or similar construction works. Good awareness of safety and PPE rules. Basic English or French is required.
Concrete Carpenter – Boden, Sweden We are looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to work on construction, civil engineering and industrial projects in Boden, Sweden. This role may also be known as Concrete Formwork Worker, Formwork Carpenter or Concrete Carpenter, depending on the country. Read reinforcement drawings and follow instructions on site. Use tools and equipment safely and accurately. Check the quality of the work performed. Keeping the workplace clean and organized. Comply with health, safety, quality and environmental regulations. Report problems, errors or dangerous situations. Requirements and qualifications Experience of formwork, reinforced concrete, masonry or carpentry is an advantage. Education in formwork, safety, drawing reading, reinforcement or construction is an advantage. CAP Builder, masonry/concrete education or equivalent education is meritorious. Ability to read drawings and follow instructions on the jobsite. Good understanding of safety rules and the use of protective equipment. Basic English or French is required.
