Job Summary As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will report to the Construction Manager. You will be part of the project team and ensure the subcontractor team is conducting the mechanical work in a timely manner and inform the client regarding the progress of the construction plant. Responsibilities • Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected • Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel • Supervise the execution of mechanical works and structures, checking that machineries/tools are properly used and maintained • Verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with the project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field • Provide quantitative data for producing weekly progress reports, monitoring the employed manpower • Liaise with the Subcontractor Mechanical supervisor to monitor the work progress Requirements • 10 years in Mechanical activities in an Energy or Manufacturing facility construction/commissioning site • Swedish C1, English C1 • Drawing interpretation; assembly sequences experience • Experience with Excel

You will manage large-scale projects throughout the entire lifecycle—from design to physical implementation—in close collaboration with external suppliers. The position requires a flexible and proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn new areas and support other departments. You will also be responsible for providing regular updates and reporting on planned, ongoing, and completed projects to your manager and relevant stakeholders.
