Mentimeter is an engagement tool with a clear goal in mind. To turn presentations into conversations. Through real-time interactivity and clear visualizations, we get people to participate, engage and become more productive. Transforming all those passive meetings, airless classrooms and drawn out trainings into valuable and memorable moments. We truly believe that you achieve the best results by doing things together. And that successful leaders need to adopt a curious and collaborative mindset in order to get there. So with you at Mentimeter, you’ll be a big part of the ambition to help over 1 billion people listen, learn and work better together. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMER HIRING NOTICE: DUE TO SUMMER VACATIONS, WE WILL BEGIN THE REVIEWING AND INTERVIEWING PROCESS FOR THIS ROLE FROM AUGUST. HOWEVER, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some people are technical but wish they were closer to the commercial side. Others are great in sales environments but struggle when the conversation gets technical. The person we are looking for is neither - you’re genuinely at home in both worlds. That's who we're looking for. You'll be joining Mentimeter's Strategic Accounts team - a sales team working with our most complex, high-value enterprise customers. You'll sit alongside Key Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, acting as their technical partner in deals, renewals, and expansions. When an enterprise IT team needs convincing, when a security review is holding up a contract, or when a customer's technical setup isn't working for them - that's when you step in. You'll be the first person in this role across EMEA, which means you'll have real scope to shape how we do Solution Consulting in Strategic Accounts. There's no predefined playbook. If you need one, this probably isn't the right role. But if you're energised by building something from scratch, it's a rare opportunity. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Partner with Strategic Key Account Managers in enterprise deals - owning the technical dimension of commercial conversations and helping move things forward when security, IT, or procurement are in the room * Lead enterprise onboarding and setup for our most important customers: SSO, SCIM, domain control, workspace architecture, and integrations * Engage directly with senior IT and security stakeholders, earning their confidence and translating their requirements into workable solutions * Spot and resolve the technical blockers that slow down adoption, expansion, or renewal - before they become a problem * Help the account team understand the commercial implications of technical decisions, not just the technical ones * Feed patterns and recurring challenges back to our Product department in a structured way that actually influences the roadmap * Raise the technical floor of the wider sales organisation through documentation and informal coaching WHO YOU ARE * You've spent 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company - Solutions Consulting, Pre-sales, Implementation Consulting, or similar * You understand enterprise IT environments well enough to hold a credible conversation: identity providers, SSO, SCIM, security reviews, and how large organisations actually make decisions * You have a commercial mindset - you understand that how Mentimeter is set up has direct implications for account health, expansion, and retention, and you think in those terms * You thrive in a sales environment. You enjoy the pace, the commercial focus, and being a part of retaining and growing deals * You're highly self-directed. You don't need a manager to tell you what to do next - you read the situation and act * You communicate clearly across audiences: technically credible with IT teams, business-relevant with executives, collaborative with your sales colleagues * Professional-level English is a must; additional languages are a bonus WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT * Not a technical support or ticket-handling function * Not responsible for driving adoption or usage (owned by Customer Success) * Not responsible for commercial negotiations or account ownership (owned by Key Account Managers) RESOURCES TO SUPPORT YOU * A close-knit Strategic Accounts team of KAMs and CSMs who will rely on you as a genuine partner * Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and Business Development support * A strong toolstack: Salesforce, Notion, Mixpanel, Looker, Claude, NotebookLM, PlanHat, Braze, and more ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📍 LOCATION: This role is based onsite at our Stockholm HQ. We'd love to get the right person started as soon as possible. 💡OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS: 1. Introduction interview 2. Personality & Logical ability test 3. Business Case 4. Competence interview 5. Culture interview 6. It’s intentionally broad to reflect the different stages of growth within the role: from early development to deep expertise and meaningful impact. Every application is reviewed by a person. * Hiring teams may use AI to support their work - for example, to structure notes, prepare interview questions, or organize their thinking. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. We build the backends behind products that millions of people use every day. Our motto is Shape, Ship, Scale: we work out what to build, ship it, and help it grow. Now, we are looking for a senior backend engineer to join us in Gothenburg. We are six people at Umain in Gothenburg today, and we share an office with around 40 colleagues from across Eidra. So it is a small, close team with a much bigger room behind it. The work You will build and run backend systems for Swedish and international clients. The scale is real: * 400M+ total app downloads * 50M+ monthly active users * Backends handling tens of thousands of requests per second Most of our work is in Kotlin, Go, and TypeScript, and we pick the tool that fits the project rather than forcing one stack onto everything. Day to day that can mean designing cloud-native systems with Terraform across AWS, GCP and Azure, building solid data models, making systems observable with proper metrics, logs and tracing, and owning CI/CD with containerised deployments. You own systems end to end, from API design to operations, and you work closely with product, design, analysis and testing rather than in a silo. What we are looking for You are an experienced backend engineer, roughly five years or more building and running services in production, who is comfortable owning a system from start to finish. You are strong in at least one of Kotlin, Go or TypeScript and happy to pick up the others. You make good technical calls in a team: weighing tradeoffs, reviewing code, mentoring colleagues. And you think past the ticket in front of you to maintainability and long-term health. In consulting the next project rarely looks like the last one. If that sounds like a feature rather than a risk, you will fit in well. Familiarity with agentic development tools is a plus. If you do not tick every box, apply anyway. We care more about how you think and what you can do than about a perfect match on paper. How we work * Equal pay and clear progression. Our career framework sets transparent levels, so pay and growth track what you do, not how well you negotiate. You build your development plan together with your coach. * Everyone gets a coach, for both professional and personal development. * Flexibility that respects your life. Gothenburg is our default office and we work from home when it makes sense. We hire people across different ages and life stages, and we treat family, health and life outside work as normal, not as something to manage around. * Small multidisciplinary teams, genuinely interesting clients, and a real bar for quality. Practical Umain conducts a background check for final candidates in accordance with our internal policies. The check is carried out only with your consent and is ordered by our CISO through our approved screening partner. The scope of the check depends on the role level. This step is performed late in the recruitment process and is used solely to support a secure and fact-based hiring decision. Sound like you? Apply here, or reach out if you want to know more before you do.

Senior/Staff+ Software Engineer Build the systems that scale video advertising on the open web. Get the workflow right first, then use AI to help it run. Most ad budgets flow to a few closed platforms for one reason: they make it easy. Buying video on the open web should be just as easy. At SeenThis, we're turning years of hands-on campaign delivery into products that automate the right work while keeping people in control. This is a senior-to-staff+ role for engineers who can take real product problems from ambiguity to production. You'll work across distributed systems, product workflows, LLM-powered automation, and the operational details that make the whole thing reliable at scale. ABOUT SEENTHIS The open web has massive untapped advertising potential, but video has historically underperformed here. SeenThis is changing that. As a video advertising partner, we prove the open web delivers exceptional results, capturing more attention with cost-effective video that keeps publishers profitable and the internet independent. Since 2017, we've served billions of streams for 5,000+ brands across 50+ countries. We believe brands deserve reach wherever audiences are, publishers deserve sustainable revenue, and the internet deserves to stay open. Our team of 130+ employees works globally from offices in Stockholm, Oslo, London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, and Sydney. We're expanding across all teams and constantly seeking new colleagues who want to make real impact in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where innovation happens daily. Do you want to be part of our journey, where we dare to discover, own it, and win together? Join SeenThis! ABOUT THE ROLE You'll join our R&D org to own problems end to end with your team. We re-team when it makes sense and work across the portfolio, so this role is not locked to one product area. Where you start, and where you grow next, depends on your strengths, interests, and where the business needs senior ownership most. The three streams you may work across are: Core Tech. The streaming, delivery, and measurement technology at the foundation of everything we do, handling billions of events a day. Studio. Our creative production tool, where teams build, adapt, and launch campaigns, and the engine behind our own managed production. Creative Manager. The orchestration layer and system of record for media plans, orders, approvals, creative delivery, and reporting. You'll work in a small team of peers: flat, fast, close to customers, close to the model, and serious about quality. You own problems, not tickets, and you own them together. We measure ourselves on whether what we ship changes behaviour. We're hiring across senior to staff+ level. The level follows your experience and the scope you're ready to own, and we calibrate it with you. Applied AI is central to the role, but it comes second on purpose. We get the product and workflow right for people first, with solid engineering and a strong human-in-the-loop experience. Then we apply AI to automate the work, one proven step at a time. The goal isn't to add AI for its own sake. It's to build systems where the product handles more of the work, people set intent, review exceptions, and stay in control. Agents can now take on a meaningful share of implementation work, which changes the job. The value is in judgment: framing the problem, setting the guardrails, and knowing what good looks like, so you can tell solid work from a confident mistake. We already build this way, with agents on most tasks through Claude Code and Codex, in-house skills that teach them our conventions, and an AI reviewer on every pull request. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Take a problem from discovery through to something shipped and working, with your team, and stay with it through launch and the iteration after. * Own the full lifecycle: design, build, ship, operate, and iterate. Weigh tradeoffs in the open, make the architectural calls, and bring peers with you. * Design systems that scale: distributed services where a dropped or double-counted event becomes a billing error, with the observability and operational care to keep them healthy. * Build AI into real product workflows: evals, guardrails, tracing, human-in-the-loop review, and the state and tool contracts behind agents that hold up in production. * Raise the engineering bar through code review, mentoring, technical direction, and the way you work. QUALIFICATIONS * Senior level: you've owned complex systems end to end and shipped them into production. * Staff+ level: you've led ambiguous, multi-month technical problems, made strong architectural calls, and brought others with you. * You have very strong engineering fundamentals. You design distributed systems that scale, weigh tradeoffs, and instrument for observability. * You have full-stack range. We build in TypeScript and Node, but fundamentals matter more than the stack. You pick up what the problem needs. * You've shipped LLM or agent features in production, beyond basic prompting: tool use, retrieval, orchestration, evals, and guardrails. You have an intuition for where models are reliable and where they need constraints, review, or another approach entirely. * You drive alignment across technical and non-technical people, and work out what matters most rather than waiting for a spec. * You have high ownership and low ego. You care about quality, lift the people around you, and want the work to matter. * You already work AI-native: you direct agents, judge their output, and build your own tooling, while still being able to reason through a problem and debug without them. We'll ask for concrete examples of how you work this way. BONUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH * The platform layer behind an AI product: the orchestration, eval infrastructure, and tracing that other engineers build on, not only the features on top. * Partnering with data or ML teams to productise model capabilities, or diagnosing and fixing model failure modes in production. * High-throughput event pipelines, streaming data, or real-time systems. * Our wider stack: BigQuery, ClickHouse, Airflow, and a multi-cloud footprint across AWS and GCP. * Third-party platform APIs, such as Meta, ad servers, or DSPs, integrated and running in production. * Ad tech, martech, creative tooling, or another commercially messy domain. APPLICATION If you're close on most of this and strong where it counts, we'd rather hear from you than not. As we review applications and interview on a continuous basis, please apply as soon as possible. Due to the high volume of applications received, we are unable to provide personalized feedback prior to the interview stage. Thank you for understanding! Please note: we're in our summer holiday period. Response times may be a little longer than usual, and we will get back to all candidates with feedback once the holiday period is over. Thank you for your understanding and patience! We conduct background checks on all SeenThis-hires to comply with our customers and protect business-critical information. We look forward to welcoming you to SeenThis!
