At DEPT®, we create social-first content that helps brands stay culturally relevant while remaining true to their identity. For a
new premium client team, we are looking for a Social Creative with a strong eye for ideas, storytelling and cultural relevance,
and a refined sense of visual taste.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity and culture. While platform knowledge and trend awareness are
important, we’re looking for someone who knows how to turn cultural insights into strong social ideas for premium brands. Someone
who understands that not every trend is worth following, and that great social content is built on strong thinking, not just
execution.
You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, producers, and account managers helping shape the social
presence of one of the world’s most respected premium brands.
First and foremost, you are a conceptual social creative. You think in ideas, formats and narratives. You understand what makes
content perform on social, but more importantly, what makes it meaningful for a brand and its audience.
You have a strong sense of aesthetics and understand what distinguishes premium brands from mass-market brands. You know how to
develop ideas that feel culturally relevant, visually refined and strategically grounded.
You are curious about culture, platforms and human behaviour, but you don’t chase trends blindly. Instead, you translate cultural
moments, platform behaviour and audience insights into strong creative directions that elevate the brand.
You may have worked across luxury, premium lifestyle, design, interiors, hospitality, fashion, automotive or consumer electronics
brands. You understand how to balance brand guidelines with social-native thinking, and you know that the best ideas are simple,
sharp and intentional.
While you may not be focused on execution like editing or production, you understand what great social content looks like and can
confidently guide creative output to ensure it meets a high visual standard.
As a Social Creative, you are responsible for developing social-first ideas, concepts and content directions that combine platform
relevance with premium brand storytelling.
Your main focus is ideation, concept development and storytelling across formats. From product-driven content ideas and creator
collaborations to campaign thinking, reactive content and always-on social formats, you help define how the brand shows up across
social channels.
You’ll work closely with strategists, producers, editors and account teams to ensure ideas are not only culturally relevant, but
also executable and on-brand.

This role is different from a typical social content position. While platform expertise and trend awareness remain important, we're looking for someone who understands how to create social content for premium brands. Someone who knows that not every trend is worth following, and that great social content can be both culturally relevant and visually refined. You'll be joining a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, producers and account managers helping shape the social presence of one of the world's most respected premium brands. JOB PURPOSE First and foremost, you're a highly skilled video creator and editor. Premiere Pro is your second language, and you understand how editing, pacing, sound design and motion can elevate a story on social media. But we're looking for more than technical expertise. You have a strong sense of aesthetics and understand what distinguishes premium brands from mass-market brands. You know how to create content that feels polished, intentional and aspirational, while still being native to social platforms. You may have worked with luxury, premium lifestyle, design, interiors, hospitality, fashion, automotive or consumer electronics brands before. You understand how to balance brand guidelines with platform behaviour and know that quality often lives in the details. You are naturally curious about culture and social media, but you don't chase trends blindly. Instead, you know how to translate trends, insights and platform behaviour into content that feels authentic to the brand. As a Social Video Creative & Editor, you'll be responsible for creating social-first content that combines platform relevance with premium execution. Your primary focus will be shooting and editing content, but you'll also play an active role in concept development and creative ideation. From product-focused storytelling and creator collaborations to behind-the-scenes content and social campaigns, you'll help shape how the brand shows up across social channels. You'll work closely with strategists, creatives and producers to ensure every piece of content is both culturally relevant and visually exceptional. This role requires a strong understanding of: * Visual storytelling * Premium brand aesthetics * Social-first content creation * Mobile-first production * Platform behaviour and audience engagement WHAT YOU’LL DO * Create and edit high-quality short-form video content for social platforms. * Shoot social-first content with a strong eye for composition, lighting and detail. * Translate brand strategy into engaging social content. * Contribute to creative concepts and content ideas. * Ensure all content reflects the premium positioning and visual standards of the brand. * Stay informed on relevant cultural and platform developments and translate them into opportunities for the brand. WHAT YOU BRING * Fluent English (written and spoken) * Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. * Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics. * Strong shooting skills using both mobile and professional camera equipment. * Good understanding of lighting, sound and production workflows. * Proven experience creating content for premium, luxury or design-led brands. * Strong visual taste and attention to detail. * Ability to translate trends into brand-appropriate content. * Experience developing social-first concepts and content formats. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment. * Excellent collaboration and communication skills. * A genuine interest in design, innovation, lifestyle and premium consumer brands.
