About Us Hawk is the leading provider of AI-supported anti-money laundering and fraud detection technology. Banks and payment providers globally are using Hawk’s powerful combination of traditional rules and explainable AI to improve the effectiveness of their AML compliance and fraud prevention by identifying more crime while maximizing efficiency by reducing false positives. With our solution, we are playing a vital role in the global fight against Money Laundering, Fraud, or the financing of terrorism. We offer a culture of mutual trust, support and passion – while providing individuals with opportunities to grow professionally and make a difference in the world. Your Mission As Senior Account Director, APAC, you will lead Hawk's next stage of growth across Singapore, Hong Kong, and priority APAC markets. You will be responsible for widening Hawk's regional foundation by converting existing market credibility, including 10+ referenceable customer logos, into repeatable new-logo growth. This role combines top-of-funnel ownership, enterprise deal strategy, executive relationship building, and hands-on closing discipline. You will operate as both market builder and closer: creating new opportunities, navigating complex buying committees, partnering with internal specialists, and helping Hawk become a trusted financial crime, fraud, AML, and AI-driven compliance technology partner across the region. Your Responsibilities Market Building and Pipeline Generation * Act as the top-of-funnel champion for APAC, building a consistent engine of qualified enterprise opportunities. * Develop a targeted territory plan for Singapore, Hong Kong, and priority APAC markets, including named accounts, buying centers, partner channels, and event opportunities. * Leverage Hawk’s 10+ existing regional referenceable logos to increase credibility, accelerate trust, and create warm entry points with similar institutions. * Identify, engage, and develop relationships with decision-makers at banks, fintechs, payment providers, and regulated financial institutions. * Create executive-level urgency around financial crime prevention, fraud prevention, AML modernization, AI-driven compliance, and operational efficiency. Enterprise Sales Execution and Closing * Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through business case development, negotiation, procurement, legal review, and close. * Demonstrate strong closing discipline, including deal strategy, mutual action plans, stakeholder mapping, procurement navigation, and executive alignment. * Develop tailored value propositions that connect Hawk’s capabilities to each prospect’s risk, compliance, fraud, operational, and commercial priorities. * Navigate complex enterprise buying committees involving Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Operations, Technology, Procurement, Legal, and Executive stakeholders. * Maintain a strong close rate while protecting long-term customer fit, referenceability, and strategic account potential. Regional Leadership and Internal Collaboration * Work independently with limited day-to-day oversight while maintaining strong transparency with global Sales leadership. * Collaborate closely with Hawk’s lean regional team in a fast, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial manner. * Partner with Pre-Sales and Product to shape compelling demos, proof points, proposals, and solution narratives for APAC buyers. * Align with Marketing on localized campaigns, executive events, thought leadership, and industry visibility. * Coordinate with Customer Success to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen customer advocacy across the region. Forecasting, Governance, and Commercial Discipline * Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, forecasting, next steps, and deal risk visibility. * Create structured account plans for priority prospects and strategic customers. * Use data, market intelligence, and buyer feedback to inform regional growth strategy and internal prioritization. * Provide leadership with clear updates on pipeline health, deal progression, blockers, competitive dynamics, and support needed. * Represent Hawk professionally at conferences, roundtables, customer meetings, and executive-level industry forums. Your Profile Required Experience * 10+ years of enterprise B2B software, SaaS, RegTech, FinTech, fraud, AML, compliance, data, or financial technology sales experience. * Demonstrated success as a hunter with a proven track record of building pipeline and closing net-new enterprise business. * Experience selling to banks, financial institutions, payment providers, fintechs, or other regulated organizations. * Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, executive buying committees, procurement processes, and multi-stakeholder negotiations. * Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and create momentum without requiring a large support structure. * Experience operating across Singapore, Hong Kong, and broader APAC markets is strongly preferred. Language and Location Requirements * Fluent English required. * Fluent Cantonese a plus. * Mandarin is helpful but not a substitute for Cantonese if the role is focused on Hong Kong and regional financial institution coverage. * Singapore- or Hong Kong-based; Singapore location is a strong plus given the concentration of regional headquarters and market access. * Ability and willingness to travel across APAC for client meetings, industry events, and executive relationship development.
