The Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team at Okta is focused on boosting internal efficiency through the implementation of secure, scalable, and innovative systems.  About the Role  The team is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to become part of our TDI team in Bangalore, who can effectively balance technical excellence with a disciplined approach to the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations required to meet the company’s strategic business objectives. Candidates will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, business analysts, and engineers on different infrastructure layers, from proposal development to deployment and support. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving and delivering high-quality solutions is essential. In addition, your product owner will look to you to provide all technical services—design, config, software development, and testing. Key Responsibilities * End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. * Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions, API design, database schema modeling, and system integrations to ensure high performance and reliability. * Leadership & Mentorship: Lead technical projects, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers to foster a culture of engineering excellence. * Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, UX/UI designers, and Stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications. * Performance & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability, and troubleshoot complex production issues. * CI/CD & DevOps: Support the automation of deployment pipelines and contribute to our cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of robust experience with hands-on development & design experience  * Experience working with the following technologies: Java, NodeJs, Typescript, AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, EC2 Instances, AppFlows, StepFunctions, Kinesis), React, Scripting Languages (Python, Shell, Kotlin), Databases (DynamoDB, PostGreSQL), Terraform, Serverless architecture,, Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) * Experience working on latest AI technologies is a big plus * Provide leadership and have influence over the design, implementation and support of all the POCs built for the business * Experience coaching and developing individuals for increased effectiveness and working with a geographically dispersed workforce is a plus.  * Willingness to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts  * Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills Extra Credits: * Proven background in developing within serverless ecosystems, particularly utilizing AWS Lambda and similar services. * Knowledge of container orchestration through Kubernetes or managing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform. * Prior usage of continuous integration and delivery platforms such as GitHub Actions. #P25370_3477401 #LI_Hybrid The Okta Experience * Supporting Your Well-Being  * Driving Social Impact  * Developing Talent and Fostering Connection + Community We are intentional about connection. As an Electronics Laboratory Technician you will be part of the team responsible for the Bristol laboratories within Graphcore ensuring the lab facilities are always operational and available to support cross-functional operations. You will also help develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with ESD, safety, quality and regulatory standards, and other relevant policies. The Team The Laboratory team supports the installation, maintenance, repair and modification of electronic systems, cables, and equipment within the laboratory. Providing support to cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable and safe operation of all lab equipment. The team also maintains accurate technical documentation, manages tools, assets, and test equipment, and contributes to efficient, high-quality technical operations. Responsibilities and Duties • Support the installation, setup, and calibration of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power supplies, etc). • Execute preventative maintenance programs. • Maintain a clean and safe lab environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. • Check and maintain ESD countermeasures. • Responsible for asset management and goods in/out process for the laboratories. • Support engineering teams in setting up test benches, configuring equipment, and ensuring technical readiness for hardware bring up, validation, and characterisation. • Generate standard operating procedures providing technical guidance, training, and procedures to support the requirements of multidisciplined lab teams. • Support engineering teams with board, cable, and wire modifications. Candidate Profile Essential: • Experience in working in an electronics lab environment. • Strong technical understanding of electronic test equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting. Job Description Template 2024• Good understanding of ESD prevention and controls. • Working knowledge of health & safety requirements in an electronics laboratory, ensure safe working practices are implemented and controlled. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in the laboratory environment, ensuring setups meet technical requirements while adhering to defined working practices and project timescales. • Experience in Repair and Modification of PCB assemblies to IPC-7711/21 and J-STD-001 standards. • Experience in cable and wire harness assemblies to drawings and IPC-620 standards. • Experience in IPC-A-610 Inspection. • A pragmatic approach, the ability to improvise and get the job done. • Ability to mentor junior members of the team. • Effective communication skills. Desirable • Experience using asset management systems including tracking of test equipment, security- controlled devices, and calibration status. • Experience in collaborating with external subcontractors for technical services including periodic maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, facilities upgrade, or specialist equipment maintenance.
