Chief of Staff - Join Our Innovative Team at think-cell Software
Our Story
think-cell is a profitable, high-growth software company backed by a large-cap PE and a market leading position in the B2B market.
More than 35,000 companies worldwide use our products, including all of the global top consultancies and over 70% of the MSCI
world index.
What You Will Do
We're actively building on our market leading position: scaling our go-to-market, expanding our AI product think-cell Assist, and
pushing international growth. As Chief of Staff, you'll be part of the Senior Leadership Team and work directly with the CEO on
the topics that define the next chapter of the company.
The role is intentionally broad. You'll sit close to strategy, decisions, and execution, and get exposure and ownership
that wouldn't be possible at this pace in a traditional line function.

Team, and broader organization
Strong candidates with a different but comparable background are explicitly welcome. What matters: you think in structures, you
communicate precisely (in writing and on your feet), and you operate independently without a fixed playbook. You build trust
across functions quickly, from GTM and product to tech, finance, and people. And you're comfortable leading from behind, making
others more effective rather than seeking the spotlight.
What comes next
Chief of Staff isn't an endpoint here. After 2-3 years, moving into an operational line role (e.g., a senior position in GTM,
Operations, or Strategy) is an explicit part of the path. The goal is for you to know the business, the people, and the industry
well enough by then to take that next step with real authority.
Our Values
As part of our team, you will embody and help shape the following principles that define us:
Forward Thinking: We embrace change and challenge the status quo.
Ownership: We take pride in our work and learn from our mistakes.
Customer First: We prioritize delivering lasting value.
Unified Team: We foster collaboration, respect, and integrity.

WHO WE ARE - OUR MISSION terralayr addresses the massive deficit in global energy storage. The over-indexing of electricity generation from renewable energy sources leads to large volatility on the energy grid. The main problem is that wind and solar farms are fluctuating and, by definition, unsteady—there is no sun at night, and it is not always windy. This increases the need for flexibility in the form of battery storage systems to balance the grid in times when supply and demand do not match. By buying and developing grid-scale storage assets and virtually aggregating them across a layer, we are creating the world's first energy cloud. Imagine AWS for energy. Through the flexibility we secure, we can market flexibility-as-a-service and hedging products/power insurance to utilities, SMEs, and industrial players and create virtual storage capacity for PV and wind farms. WHAT WE ARE HIRING FOR - YOUR ROLE As Chief of Staff (m/f/d), you work directly alongside the CEO and the wider leadership team as a force multiplier across terralayr's most important priorities. You are the CEO's closest thought partner and right hand, while also serving as a trusted advisor and facilitator for the rest of the leadership team, stepping in wherever a critical topic needs an owner. You operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organization, turning high-stakes problems and strategic priorities into structured decisions and implementation. One week you are building the case for an acquisition or entering a new market, the next you are running a fundraising process, tightening cross-functional processes, or preparing board meetings. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON - YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, prioritization, and decision-making, turning open questions into clear, defensible decisions shaping the company * Own, drive, and align the strategy process across the company, especially via regular strategy/leadership offsites * Work on topics related to market- and business model expansion to further scale terralayrs business * Drive fundraising and investor relations, owning data rooms, investor materials, and the reporting cadence across equity and debt processes * Lead board management, from agenda and pre-reads to minutes and follow-up tracking across the leadership team * Own cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams, stepping in where no single function has clear ownership * Reduce organizational debt and improve core company processes by fixing unclear ownership and structural gaps, embedding AI and automation where they create real leverage * Drive M&A and corporate development end to end, from target screening and valuation to diligence coordination and execution support * Coordinate regulatory and public affairs topics jointly with Legal to advance and protect terralayr's interests externally WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - YOUR QUALIFICATIONS * 4+ years in management consulting, private equity or a comparable Chief of Staff or strategy role * Strong analytical and structuring skills, able to break down complex problems and build decision-ready analyses and models * Highly motivated, driven, resilient/flexible and effective in a fast-changing environment * Proven track record owning cross-functional projects end to end in fast-paced, ambiguous environments * Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence and align senior leadership without formal authority * Exceptional written and verbal communication, translating complex topics into clear materials for board, investors, and internal audiences * High ownership, structured thinking, and a hands-on execution mindset * Comfort with confidentiality and high-trust work close to the CEO * Fluent in English and German * Interest and ideally experience in energy, climate or infrastructure WHY YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY * Our purpose: Join us in building up an asset fleet that has the potential to make a positive impact on society and our planet by addressing the massive deficit in global energy storage. * Focus on innovation: Building our asset fleet following our technology agnostic approach means you will have the opportunity to work with the highest industry standard equipment. * Impact: Your contribution will not only have a positive impact on society; by joining our small and nimble team, your work will make a difference from day one. * Personal development: You will benefit from a learning & development budget of 1,000 EUR per calendar year that you can use for your individual professional development.
🚀 YOUR OPPORTUNITY Luminovo is building the software infrastructure and AI foundation for the $2 trillion electronics supply chain — helping OEMs and EMS quote and procure faster by bringing all data, processes, and players together in one place. We're 100 people, growing fast, and in the middle of executing a bold revenue strategy across Europe and North America. Our GTM engine is accelerating, and the strategic bets ahead — new add-ons, new geographies, new customer segments — require serious operational and strategic firepower. In this role, you'll step into the most senior cross-functional operating position in the company, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Sebastian (Co-Founder) and Clifton (Global VP Sales) to drive revenue strategy planning and execution. This open position exists because Catha, our Chief of Staff, is going on parental leave — and the revenue strategy and cross-functional execution muscle she's built needs to keep moving. But this isn't just a coverage position: The revenue projects will keep coming and you’ll have a long-term progression path in our team as we scale. 🎯 PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES REVENUE STRATEGY EXECUTION * Own the 2027 business planning process. Drive the process (with Sebastian, Clifton, and Benedikt, our VP Finance & Operations) of building and stress-testing our 2027 business plan — from strategic assumptions to a board-ready document, completed by Q4 2026. * Advance the OEM GTM strategy. Keep OEM initiatives moving across geographies — coordinate execution across Inga's team, track milestones, unblock decisions, and ensure Seba always has the right context to make fast calls as we expand into new markets. * Drive strategic projects in the revenue department. Take ownership of cross-functional revenue projects (e.g. PCB or the Global Solutions Team, though the specific list will shift): understand the root cause, define a target state, build a project plan to get there, and support its execution — through project management and reporting, hands-on execution when a project stalls, and quality assurance of what the team delivers. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL EXECUTION * Be the connective tissue. Carry Catha's role of catching things before they fall — surfacing stuck decisions, ensuring cross-functional handovers happen (especially across OEM and CS), and keeping revenue projects moving. * Support OEM and CS through the leave window. Inga and Markus own the work; you keep the operating rhythms intact and intervene on decisions that need a CoS-style push. * Run Seba's revenue operating system. Prepare briefs, prep materials, and follow-up documentation so that Seba's time on operational coordination measurably decreases within the first 3 months. BUILD GREAT THINGS * Document and systematize. Convert at least 3 previously ad-hoc revenue workflows into reusable playbooks, templates, and a central wiki by month 9 — starting with the business planning process, OEM coordination, and CS project management. * Own your first strategic project end-to-end. After a ramp period, take full ownership of 1–2 strategic projects (confirmed at handover with Catha and Seba) and ship measurable outcomes within your remaining tenure. * Sharpen the revenue analytics engine. Build or improve dashboards and reporting processes that give Seba, Clif, and Benedikt always-current visibility into revenue performance, capacity, and forecast. CULTURE & OPERATING PRINCIPLES * Be a role model on Putting People First and Productive Conflict. Given this role's proximity to the leadership team, actively model these principles — and reinforce, not replicate, any gaps in the current culture. * Embrace feedback. Proactively seek and give direct, specific feedback. Operate with full transparency toward Seba and Catha on where you're at, what you need, and what's at risk. 🤓 WHOM YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH * Seba — your direct manager during Catha's leave; primary partner on revenue strategy and decision-making * Clif — key collaborator on business planning, capacity planning, and GTM execution * Catha — 2–3 week handover at start; returns ~July 2027; reporting line after return TBD * Inga — OEM lead; you keep her initiatives moving and unblock cross-functional dependencies across geographies * Markus + new Implementation Lead — CS; you support their operating rhythms during the transition * Benedikt — partner on business plan, financial inputs, and investor reporting ⚡️ Skills, knowledge, and expertise Just so you know — we purposefully did not create a standard list of minimum qualifications for this role. We care much more about your motivation and ability to help us accelerate technical progress than about your CV. (Why we banned requirements from our job descriptions) Why Luminovo * Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our founders and VP Sales at a well-funded European scale-up with 300+ customers * Step into the most senior cross-functional operating role in the company, with a clear path to grow as we scale * AI at the core of how we operate, not a marketing slide * Collaborative, international team with offices in Munich, Berlin, and New York ⚡️ ABOUT LUMINOVO Luminovo is the first electronics supply chain platform that unites all data, processes, and stakeholders in the trillion-dollar electronics industry.
