terralayr addresses the massive deficit in global energy storage.
The over-indexing of electricity generation from renewable energy sources leads to large volatility on the energy grid. The main
problem is that wind and solar farms are fluctuating and, by definition, unsteady—there is no sun at night, and it is not always
windy. This increases the need for flexibility in the form of battery storage systems to balance the grid in times when supply and
demand do not match.
By buying and developing grid-scale storage assets and virtually aggregating them across a layer, we are creating the world's
first energy cloud. Imagine AWS for energy. Through the flexibility we secure, we can market flexibility-as-a-service and hedging
products/power insurance to utilities, SMEs, and industrial players and create virtual storage capacity for PV and wind farms.

Total Compensation Range: €45,000 – €65,000 THE POSITION If you're excited about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and passionate about Finance, this opportunity is for you! We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented (Junior) Accounting & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team in Berlin. This role sits at the intersection of core accounting and financial reporting, giving you hands-on exposure to group consolidation, intercompany flows, FP&A support, and international tax advisory work from day one. Your mission: You'll bridge the gap between operational accounting and financial reporting, keeping our ledgers clean, supporting our external tax advisors across five European markets, and helping the FP&A team deliver accurate, timely insights to the business. If you're someone who enjoys both getting into the detail of bookkeeping and contributing to a bigger reporting picture, this role is a great fit. In this role, you will: * Support monthly and quarterly group consolidation. * Prepare and review financial data packages for external tax advisors across the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. * Assist the FP&A team during the internal reporting cycle: preparing data, checking consistency, and helping ensure timely delivery of financial insights. * Handle revenue bookkeeping via upload files. * Create and process intercompany invoices. * Support AP & AR clean-up projects to ensure ledger accuracy. * Support the annual group audit process, including documentation and data provision. * Assist with transfer pricing analysis and intercompany documentation. We would still love to hear from you if you think you're a good fit! * Foundational Experience: You have up to 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or a related field, through a full-time role, internship, or work-study programme. Exposure to an international or multi-entity environment is a plus. * Analytical Mindset: You enjoy working with numbers, spotting inconsistencies, and translating financial data into clear, structured outputs. An interest in FP&A or reporting is a genuine plus. * Tool Curiosity: You have some familiarity with accounting or reporting tools (e.g. DATEV, Lucanet, Excel) and are eager to learn new systems quickly. * Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accurate, well-structured work and enjoy getting to the bottom of discrepancies. * Communicator & Collaborator: You're proactive, well-organised, and comfortable working with colleagues across teams and with external partners like tax advisors. * Language Skills: You're fluent in English. German skills are a plus but not required. * Education & Mindset: You hold a degree (or are pursuing one) in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field, and are motivated to grow in a dynamic, international environment. OUR OFFERING * Build something that matters: Hive is redefining commerce operations in a €200B+ market. Total Compensation Range: €69,380 – €89,760 THE POSITION If you're excited about working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and passionate about Finance, this opportunity is for you! We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting & Reporting Manager to join our Finance team in Berlin. You'll take ownership of the group's most complex accounting topics: with a strong focus on monthly reporting, group consolidation, year-end procedures and audit readiness across our multi-entity European structure, while keeping the bigger picture in view at all times. Your mission: You'll be the go-to expert and sparring partner for demanding accounting and reporting topics, helping us maintain the highest standards in financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency across all entities. With your structured mindset and hands-on approach, you'll own complex processes end-to-end and contribute to a Finance team that runs its processes smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will: * Take full ownership of the group consolidation process in Lucanet: eliminating intercompany differences, managing eliminations, and ensuring our consolidated financial data is consistent and audit-ready across all entities at all times. * Handle intercompany accounting end-to-end: including reconciliation and clear documentation of intercompany flows across the group's European entities. * Prepare and review complex accrual calculations, provisions and cost accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy. * Drive AP & AR clean-up projects, identifying aged items, mispostings, and open reonciling items, and working cross-functionally to resolve them. * Support transfer pricing, preparing transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with our external tax advisors. * Be the sparring partner for our external auditors, handling audit queries and coordinating documentation. * Support the monthly reporting cycle by reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany positions: catching issues early and ensuring consistency across the group. * Contribute to the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB). Of course, you will also: * Collaborate with the Finance team to support a smooth and efficient year-end closing process. * Continuously look for ways to improve and automate consolidation, reporting, and documentation workflows. * Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that elevate the quality and scalability of our Finance operations. * Closely collaborate with Billing and FP&A functions to ensure clean and accurate financial data, forming a strong basis for reliable reporting and audit readiness. YOUR PROFILE We know, sometimes, you can't tick every box. We would still love to hear from you if you think you're a good fit! * Experienced & Reliable: You bring 3-4 years of experience in (group) accounting, financial reporting, or audit. You're comfortable owning these processes end-to-end in a multi-entity environment. * Detail-Oriented, and Big-Picture Aware: You take pride in getting the details right, but you also understand how individual accounting tasks connect to the broader financial reporting landscape. You use that perspective to prioritise, flag risks early, and add value beyond the immediate task. * Reviewing Mindset: You enjoy working through financial data and outputs with a critical, structured eye: identifying gaps and inconsistencies in a constructive, collaborative way. * Tool-Savvy: You've worked with tools like Lucanet and DATEV and feel confident navigating finance systems to streamline your work. * Communicator & Sparring Partner: You're proactive and confident working with colleagues, external auditors, and tax advisors, and you enjoy being a thought partner, not just an executor. * Language Skills: You're fluent in English and comfortable using it in meetings, reporting, and documentation. German is a strong plus. * Education & Mindset: You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and are motivated to grow in a dynamic, international environment.
