company's financial and partnership success. As a Credit Risk Analyst Commercial Underwriter on the North America Strategy Risk
team, you'll underwrite and manage a portfolio of our largest and fastest-growing businesses to facilitate growth objectives while
minimizing credit risk. This is a high-impact role that involves strong cross-functional partnership with Sales, Legal, Treasury,
and Finance.
This role is assigned to West Coast hours, with a high preference for candidates in the Pacific time zone.

As a Credit Analyst Underwriter on the North America Strategy Risk team, you will underwrite and manage a portfolio of our largest and fastest growing businesses in order to facilitate Stripe’s growth objectives while minimizing Stripe’s credit risk. This is a high impact role that involves strong cross-functional partnership with Sales, Legal, Treasury, and Finance. RESPONSIBILITIES * Work directly with our top merchants, from successful venture-backed startups to well-established institutions, to evaluate their business models and financial statements. * Provide tailored credit risk recommendations that mitigate Stripe's exposure, while facilitating partner company growth. * Help manage the portfolio by developing a deep understanding of risk across industries, geographies, and operating models. * Deliver insights to support senior management decisions, ranging from onboarding strategies to merchant pricing analysis. * Support the refinement of tools and processes to help the team deliver on key performance indicators, such as credit loss targets or portfolio coverage metrics. * Work with internal and external partners to support merchants around the world. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years of relevant experience with knowledge of commercial credit underwriting, financial risk modeling, and cash flow forecasting * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related fields * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and comfort evaluating financial statements and business models across a range of industries * Ability to transform business and financial data into cohesive narratives that outline potential credit risks and present dynamic mitigation strategies * Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills * Attention to detail while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Ability to comfortably interact with the CFOs and CEOs of our top merchants * Deep empathy for entrepreneurs running a business and motivation to solve problems to empower them PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Strong technical expertise, including demonstrated experience with SQL * Strong data visualization skills and a passion for data and analysis * Experience working in tech or other fast-paced, high-growth environments

ABOUT THE TEAM The Risk Operations team is looking for an experienced Credit Operations Analyst to join an industry leading global credit operations team. As a Credit Analyst, you will execute operational processes and scale programs while devising growth friendly solutions that reduce Stripe’s credit risk. While the promise of a global online economy is palpable, it doesn’t come without significant risk. Billions of dollars are processed by Stripe each year and the Credit Operations team works to ensure that exposure is minimized while facilitating company growth. We are looking for someone passionate about commercial credit, the payments ecosystem, and has a strong desire to work collaboratively with peers and partners in the credit space while building and enhancing processes at scale. This person will work alongside a global team of analysts and build cross functional partnerships with engineering, strategy, sales, vendor management and more. The right candidate for this role should have an understanding of general credit principals, risk management, and credit modeling. Successful candidates for the role will have a minimum of four years experience in credit operations within the payments, fintech, or financial service spaces. WHAT YOU’LL DO RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with merchants from successful venture-backed startups to well established institutions * Complete in-depth credit reviews on merchants throughout their life cycle to identify credit concerns. * Investigate and action/triage escalations across multiple channels while providing accurate and timely responses * Own various operational processes that the team performs such as credit reviews and handling urgent risk-related escalations whilst upholding a strong commitment to process excellence and clear documentation * Identify risk factors & trends and further report said trends to the wider risk team * Utilize analytics to optimize strategies which can be enforced across the portfolio * Maintain regular communication with cross-functional stakeholders * Identify gaps in current systems, policies and strategies, and recommend enhancements and process improvements * Lead team work streams related to credit decisioning & accuracy, providing updates in team and org wide business reviews. They are looking for an Analyst / Associate to join their Stockholm team. Key Responsibilities · Appraising potential investment opportunities, executing upon diligence programmes and supporting the structuring of deals. · Building, iterating and auditing financial models. · Developing and presenting relevant sections of investment papers to Bridgepoint’s investment committee. · Managing a broad array of stakeholders (e.g., corporate finance advisers, diligence providers etc.) across process milestones; and · Working closely with investee company management teams in the development and implementation of the value enhancement plan.
