The Senior Services Solutions Manager (SSM) at Level 4 is a fully qualified professional responsible for managing complex engagements. This role focuses on the strategic transition of customers from purchasing "hours" to achieving "defined impact" and business value. You will act as a consultative challenger, ensuring that every Statement of Work (SOW) is a rigorous, milestone-driven roadmap linked to specific business outcomes. WHY THIS ROLE? * Complex Problem Solving: Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. * Strategic Impact: Own the services lifecycle for high-stakes, complex engagements, ensuring technical discovery is grounded in core product capabilities. * Operational Leadership: Implement formal Scope Governance and maintain practice margin health through meticulous SFDC rigor. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Consultative Challenger: Provide the confidence to challenge unrealistic customer requests and offer strategic trade-off options to protect project health and customer success. * Scope Governance: Lead deep technical discovery pre-signature and implement formal, auditable change management processes for all scope modifications. * Commercial Data Integrity: Own the accuracy of bookings forecasts and financial milestones in SFDC, ensuring the commercial health of the practice. * Value Engineering: Translate complex business challenges into milestone-driven roadmaps, ensuring SOW alignment with customer Use Cases. * Cross-Functional Networking: Network with senior internal and external personnel in your area of expertise to drive alignment on the "Unified Front." OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree. Field Expertise: 8-12 years of field sales or services delivery experience, specifically within Data Warehousing, BI, or Cloud fields. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level capability in Technical Discovery, Scoping, and leading deep discovery pre-signature. Soft Skills: Proven ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions in complex environments. The Exploration Company

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. At The Exploration Company, we are developing next-generation space transportation systems, including a lunar lander capable of precision landing and reusable operations. To support this effort, we are establishing a dedicated remote test site in the United Arab Emirates to perform hot-fire propulsion testing and hopper flight demonstrations. As a Lunar Lander Test Bench Development Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of this new test facility from concept to operations. The role combines propulsion test infrastructure design, cryogenic fluid systems engineering, civil infrastructure coordination, and end-to-end project execution in a remote environment. This position requires periodic travel to the UAE during site development, commissioning, and operations phases.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS In this role, your responsibilities will evolve with project maturity. Day-to-day duties will include: Test Site Development * Define and synthesize system-level requirements for a remote lunar lander test site supporting hot firing and hopper flight testing. * Lead the design and implementation of the complete facility, including ground infrastructure and utilities. * Specify and implement propellant and pressurization systems including Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Methane, Helium, and Nitrogen. * Design infrastructure enabling autonomous operation of a remote site (power generation, storage, logistics, safety systems). Fluid and Cryogenic Systems Engineering * Develop P&IDs for propulsion test facilities and associated ground support equipment. * Design, size, and select components for cryogenic and high-pressure fluid systems. * Ensure safe handling, storage, and distribution of cryogenic propellants and pressurants. Infrastructure and Civil Engineering Coordination * Define facility layout, foundations, structural interfaces, and site infrastructure requirements. * Coordinate with civil engineering partners to implement test stands, safety perimeters, and support buildings. Safety, Automation, and Operations * Define and implement automation architectures for test operations and facility control, including safe connections with the vehicle to test. * Develop and validate safety-critical systems protecting personnel, hardware, and environment. * Perform hazard analyses (FMEA, HAZOP, risk assessments) and implement mitigation measures. * Develop test procedures, operational concepts, and commissioning plans. Project Leadership * Lead end-to-end development of the test facility including design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operations readiness. * Manage technical interfaces with internal teams, customers, and external suppliers. * Perform trade-off analyses to optimize performance, safety, cost, and schedule. * Support on-site deployment, integration, and test campaigns in the UAE.   WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU * Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, energy systems, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in propulsion test facilities or hot-fire test bench development. * Strong expertise in fluid systems engineering, including cryogenic propellants. * Experience designing or operating ground support equipment for rocket propulsion systems. * Knowledge of automation systems and safety-critical control architectures for industrial or test environments. * Experience coordinating infrastructure or facility development in industrial or remote environments. * Demonstrated project management capability across multidisciplinary engineering activities. * Hands-on engineering mindset with strong problem-solving ability. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work across international teams. * Willingness to travel to and work periodically in the United Arab Emirates. Senior Solution Engineer: Accelerate the AI Data Cloud We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer who is accustomed to solving customer’s most complex problems and closing large deals. In this role you will work directly with the accounts sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business. As a Snowflake Solution Engineer you must share our passion about driving the AI Data Cloud adoption, thrive in a dynamic environment and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done. You are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences and bridging the gap between audiences when needed. YOUR IMPACT (IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO): * Present Snowflake technology and vision, focusing on the AI Data Cloud and its capabilities, to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. * Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. * Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them. * Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing. YOUR CREDENTIALS (ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE): * 5-10+ years of industry pre-sales experience. * Outstanding presenting skills and executive presence to engage technical, business and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos. * Strong understanding and practical experience with value-based selling and sales methodologies / frameworks (e.g., MEDDPIC/MEDDIC) to drive complex deals. * Broad range of experience within Data platforms, analytics, and cloud technologies, including deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and lake house architectures. * Proven ability to discuss and demonstrate the value of Generative AI and Machine Learning (ML) use cases for enterprises. * Familiarity with core data concepts such as data modeling, data governance, and data engineering best practices. * Deep hands-on expertise with Python and SQL. * University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred. * Experience in the South African market with preference already being based there. * Arabic fluency is highly desirable / nice to have.
