Om jobbet
Du ansvarar för att säkerställa stabilitet, säkerhet och kontinuerlig utveckling av nätverksinfrastrukturen i en industriell produktionsmiljö. Arbetet sker i nära samarbete med produktionsingenjörer samt kollegor inom underhåll, IT och globala funktioner, där du bygger broar mellan industriella automationssystem och OT-infrastruktur.
Designa säker arkitektur och funktion för OT-nätverk
Utveckla segmentering, zonindelning och cybersäkerhetsarbetssätt
Hantera och vidareutveckla OT-brandväggsregler och nätverksflöden utifrån ett riskbaserat perspektiv
Ta fram och uppdatera teknisk dokumentation, riskbedömningar och efterlevnadsunderlag
Analysera och dokumentera nätverksflöden mellan OT-system, utrustning och angränsande IT-tjänster
Stödja driftsättning av ny utrustning och samarbetar nära teknik- och produktionsteam
Placering och flexibilitet
Tjänsten är baserad i Fagersta och innebär ett nära samarbete med produktionen. Du har möjlighet att kombinera arbete på plats med arbete hemifrån ett par dagar i veckan, beroende på arbetsuppgifter och verksamhetens behov.
Du har ett starkt intresse för nätverksteknik, gärna kopplat till produktionsmiljöer, och trivs i en roll där praktiskt arbete möter teknisk analys. Med din erfarenhet bidrar du till att utveckla struktur, segmentering och långsiktiga arbetssätt inom OT-nätverk.
Stark bakgrund i nätverk och cybersäkerhet inom IT/OT-infrastruktur.
Erfarenhet av arbete i produktionskritiska miljöer med höga tillgänglighetskrav.
Praktisk erfarenhet av att tillämpa Purdue-modellen och segmenteringsstrategier.
Erfarenhet av felsökning av komplexa nätverksmiljöer.
Kännedom om principer, standarder och ramverk för industriell cybersäkerhet (t.ex. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, EU CRA).
Erfarenhet av brandväggar, VLAN, routing, nätverksfelsökning, traffic flow analysis och industriella kommunikationsmönster är meriterande.
Som person är du engagerad och självgående och du tar dig an utmaningar med ett analytiskt samt strukturerat arbetssätt. Samarbete faller dig naturligt, och du kommunicerar tydligt och bygger goda relationer. Med ett praktiskt handlag och en innovativ approach hittar du lösningar där andra ser hinder.

The Opportunity At Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems, we have global responsibility for the development and manufacturing of highly reliable cooling systems for power electronics and power transmission applications. Our solutions play a critical role in enabling safe, stable, and efficient operation of HVDC and other high‑power installations worldwide. As power demand and cybersecurity requirements continue to grow, the boundaries between machine OT networks and customer IT environments are becoming increasingly interconnected. We are now looking for a Project Engineer – Network & Cyber Security to strengthen our engineering team in Landskrona. In this role, you will work close to both technology and projects, acting as a key link between industrial automation systems and customer site networks. You will support secure network design, implementation, and lifecycle management of machine networks, while also serving as a cybersecurity focal point in customer projects. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement in a global engineering environment. How you’ll make an impact Design and integrate secure network architectures between machine OT environments and customer site IT networks. Configure, commission, and support industrial network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and gateways in project deliveries. Act as a cybersecurity representative in customer projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Prepare and maintain cybersecurity‑related technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance evidence. Support troubleshooting and incident resolution during commissioning, operation, and lifecycle phases. Collaborate closely with automation engineers, customer OT/IT teams, and suppliers to ensure robust and secure system integration. Contribute to continuous improvement of network, cybersecurity practices, tools, and ways of working. Your background A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent practical experience. Several years of experience working with industrial networks and cybersecurity in OT/IT environments within sectors such as power transmission, substations, manufacturing, or process industries. Solid understanding of industrial networking concepts, including Layer 2/3 networking, segmentation, redundancy, and routing in OT contexts. Experience with industrial communication protocols such as IEC 61850, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, or similar. Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, EU CRA). A structured, proactive, and collaborative working style, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage. Meriting experience Hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, or industrial automation systems. Experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, or security assessment tools.
