As a Software Responsible, you are the component owner of the software in your project. This means that you lead the deliverables towards the supplier and the customer. You will lead and coordinate the development of the Base Software in the ECU´s or inverters in different phases of the project. You will be part of a team consisting of Software and Hardware engineers led by a GPL (Group Project Leader) and work tightly with the Basetech Architects in our group. You will be the single point of contact towards the supplier for the product you have responsibility for and need to secure the technology, cost, and timing to meet the project targets. You need to have technical insight in the requirements of the area you work in order to be able to distribute to function owners and plan for implementation according to the spec. Skill requirements Do you fit the profile? You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or similar relevant experience. You have experience in Base Software development of one or more of our products; ECM, inverters, TCM, etc. It’s also valuable having knowledge of Autosar, application Software and integration. The cross-functional nature of the role offers you possibility to advance your competence in the subsystem areas and your professional network. You need to master communication in English; both in written and spoken. For good collaboration and communication its also desired to have good knowledges in Swedish language. Responsibilities Are you our next lead for analysis & workshop operations, ready to build, lead, and develop a key function in Älvängen? In this role, you bring together operational leadership, technical analysis, and commercial responsibility to develop and drive analysis operations across new development, testing, and aftermarket. The goal is to establish a scalable and quality-assured setup that enables both product innovation and aftermarket success Tasks will include:  * Lead and drive the establishment of the functions in Älvängen, including building the organisation, ways of working, and technical process flows * Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes and routines within analysis, testing, and workshop operations * Full personnel responsibility, including leadership, development, and recruitment of technical and engineering staff * Ensure competence supply through recruitment of engineers and technical specialists within testing, verification, and analysis * Budget responsibility with focus on cost-efficient operations and resource optimization * Responsible for the site’s work environment, including systematic occupational health and safety work and ensuring a safe test and workshop environment * Ensure that the organisation delivers according to requirements regarding quality, timelines, and technical results within new development and aftermarket analysis * Actively contribute to and participate in the sales of technical services within analysis, testing, and aftermarket * Act as a technical and commercial interface towards internal and external stakeholders * Ensure delivery of high-quality test and analysis results in line with requirements from development and aftermarket functions * Achieve targets related to quality, delivery precision, and technical reliability * Ensure a cost-efficient and scalable operation aligned with growth and business needs * Contribute to business development by identifying and driving new opportunities within analysis and testing services We are looking for Someone with a natural passion for technical and operational environments, where analysis, leadership, and development come together. To be successful in the role you come from the automotive industry, ideally with experience in testing, validation, verification, or aftermarket analysis. If you have experience in powertrain systems is a strong advantage, especially within electrification and electric drivetrains. We believe that you have a degree in engineering (mechanical, automotive, mechatronics, or similar). To succeed you have solid understanding of how technical development and test environments work in practice. You are comfortable producing clear and structured technical reports and have experience with budget responsibility and business performance. You have led people before and take pride in developing teams and individuals. Experience in customer-facing technical roles, where you bridge technical solutions and customer needs, is a plus.
