We develop the app for Husqvarna’s robotic lawnmowers and will bring your future smart garden to a new level. We truly put our customer in the centre of our development. Role description
In this role, you will contribute to the quality of our mobile application, working with both app‑only testing and end‑to‑end scenarios together with our connected mowers. You will be involved in planning, writing, and executing test cases, with support and guidance adapted to your level of experience.
Collaboration is a natural part of the role, and you will work closely with developers and other test teams to ensure a reliable and user‑friendly product. As you grow in the role, you will also have opportunities to work with automated and AI‑driven testing, helping us continuously improve how we test and deliver value.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is detail‑oriented and able to think critically, with a strong focus on quality. You are curious by nature and motivated by delivering reliable, well‑tested solutions. You enjoy working together with others and contribute as a collaborative team player. Clear and structured communication comes naturally to you, both within the team and towards stakeholders. Your have:
Experience or interest in software testing, including working with test strategies, test plans, and test documentation
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence (depth of experience can vary)
Experience of, or willingness to work in, Agile/Scrum teams together with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
Ability to communicate test results clearly and support defect prioritization together with the development team
Curiosity and a structured approach to identifying edge cases, investigating issues, and understanding root causes (deeper experience is a plus)
Knowledge of non‑functional testing areas such as performance, usability, and security is beneficial
Experience with, or interest in, test automation and maintaining test scripts
Background in software development or software testing
Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement

What you´ll do at Thule As a Mobile App Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain both cross-platform and native mobile applications, with a primary focus on Android development using Kotlin, while also contributing to iOS and Flutter development when needed. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements, define solutions, and bring new features to life. A key part of your role will also be ensuring quality and stability, by troubleshooting issues, addressing performance challenges, and resolving security-related findings as they arise. Beyond development, you will play an active role in maintaining a strong engineering foundation. This includes writing and executing automated unit and integration tests, keeping technical documentation up to date, and contributing to a smooth and reliable deployment process all the way from internal test builds to App Store releases. You will also participate in peer code reviews, helping to maintain high standards across the codebase and ensuring consistency, readability, and long-term maintainability. What you bring To be successful in the role, we believe you have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and solid experience in mobile application development. You are confident in Android development, ideally with Kotlin, and have exposure to iOS development in Swift. Experience in Bluetooth enabled applications is a plus. You enjoy working in a structured way and take pride in building robust, well-tested, and maintainable solutions. At the same time, you are pragmatic and adaptable when priorities shift or new challenges emerge. ou are comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional environment and can communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
