Your Role
Join Gripen Sales and play a crucial role in our Gripen campaigns and sales efforts! With wings, we keep people and societies safe - and you will be at the heart of what comes next.
Your role is to be a key leader and coordinator who drives our marketing and sales efforts to secure new Gripen business. You will lead the development of customer offers, business commitments and work closely with the Gripen marketing organization and campaign directors, both internally and externally. You will lead cross-functional teams drawn from the wider Gripen organization as well as other parts of Saab.
Gripen opportunities are often substantial in scale, and the overall complexity associated with each prospect can be very high. This makes the role demanding, but also highly engaging and exciting.
The person acting in this role has the following overall responsibilities:
Develop and drive winning capture strategies in close collaboration with the Gripen marketing organization.
Produce competitive customer offers aligning with customer need and expectations and Saab internal requirements and objectives.
Build trust and maintain good relationships with customers, government representatives, authorities and other important stakeholders.
Enable and ensure strong internal collaboration, alignment and commitment.
A central role in negotiations, signing, and handover activities.
Manage budget together with the Campaign Director.
Your Profile
We are looking for a skilled professional with a background in sales, business development, contract management or other relevant business experience. You possess strong leadership, collaboration, relationship-building, and communication capabilities. A relevant university degree is expected, and personal qualities will be given significant consideration.
Good business acumen, judgment and a solid understanding of major industry operations.
Proven ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You need self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to manage cross-functional work in complex organizations.
Strong ethical compass and naturally act in line with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Experience from large-scale project management and negotiation as well as marketing and presentation skills.
Proposal and contract preparation experience.
Knowledge in areas such as development, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, commercial, sales, and marketing.
Proficient English writing and communication skills.
A curious and can-do attitude with strong personal drive and sense of personal accountability.
Experience from working with Gripen is meriting.
