About you
You’ll be joining as an Engineering Manager reporting to the Director of Engineering. You’ll be a part of a fast-growing business
that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
As an Engineering Manager at ClearBank, you will focus on people, delivery, and operational management while occasionally writing
and reviewing code. You will lead a team of engineers with a range of skill and experience. Your responsibilities will include
driving hiring and interviewing, mentoring and guiding the career development of your direct reports. Reporting to the Director of
Engineering and working closely with product partners to prioritize and scope work.

Skills & Experience (must-have) * Experience leading engineering teams in an ambitious technology environment. * Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs and cloud-native architectures. * Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD. * Proven track record delivering and operating high-availability production systems. * Ability to balance technical depth with delivery focus and pragmatism. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * Experience working in regulated environments or complex operational settings. * Ability to build and maintain high-performing, inclusive and collaborative teams. * Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset. * Good awareness of agile delivery practices and a pragmatic approach to implementation.
