A direct pathway into full-time consulting at GCS
What is the Pre-Associate Programme?
The Pre-Associate Programme is GCS's entry-level hiring route and is designed as a fast-track pathway into full-time Associate
roles. It is targeted at recent graduates or those in their final year of study. No prior consulting experience is required.
The programme begins with an initial four-week placement, during which you will join a live project team and contribute
meaningfully from day one. Depending on performance, project demand, and individual circumstances, the placement may be extended.
Exceptional performers may be invited to transition directly into a full-time Associate role at the end of the programme.
What you'll do
Over the initial four weeks, you will gain hands-on experience in strategy consulting and commercial due diligence, including:
Am I eligible?
1. Have already graduated or be in the final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, and;
2. Be available to transition into a full-time Associate role if offered at the end of the programme.
The Pre-Associate Programme is therefore not suitable for first- or second-year students, summer internship applicants, or anyone
not seeking immediate full-time employment.
Please note: GCS is not able to offer visa sponsorship at any stage, including for the Pre-Associate Programme or any subsequent
full-time Associate role. Applicants should ensure they have the right to work in the UK throughout the full duration of any
potential employment, without requiring sponsorship from GCS.
