The opportunity
IVRS (Integration, Verification, Release and Support) is a department within GI MACH, working with securing the quality of the MACH platform, the brain of the HVDC station. We are responsible for verification of the MACH Platform towards high level requirements and for releasing the platform to our customers. We are also responsible for making sure that our customers, mostly internal, get the support they need.
IVRS is now looking for a Support Program Leader to lead our support program and to coordinate the work with ongoing support activities in the MACH platform. As the Support Program Leader you will play an important role within GI MACH, communicating with our design organizations, our internal and external customers and other MACH stakeholders. As the Support Program Leader you are also part of the IVRS Leadership Team.
How You Will Make an Impact
Responsible for leading the customer support program within IVRS, i.e., leading the execution of the activities within the support program scope.
Customer interface for customer defects and support requests.
Manage the customer support issue backlog, including answering support requests and delivering answers and solutions to customer issues.
Follow up and consolidate status, plans, and appropriate customer defect statistics.
Continuously drive improvements in the defect handling process towards external customers
Coordinate troubleshooting activities towards customers
Act as the MACH Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for issues coming from Service and external customers
Dispatch product-related issues (defects and support issues), follow up, and drive them to closure in collaboration with the DOs.
Ownership of MACH Issue Management Process and related templates
Your Background
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field
Proven leadership experience or experience from project management
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across global teams
Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not required

The Opportunity The Product Group Transformer Components and Service is a key product group within Hitachi Energy. In one of our main units, located in Ludvika, Sweden, we develop, sell, and produce Transformer Bushings and Tap-Changers. We are looking for a new R&D SCM Specialist, who will be a speaking partner towards our suppliers for R&D projects. You will be located in Ludvika, but you will collaborate on a global arena with a wide range of stakeholders. Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and join us in making it happen? As R&D SCM Specialist, you will be part of a key function in driving and coordinating sourcing activities together with our suppliers and internal interfaces such as Engineering, Production, Quality and Marketing & Sales. You understand, discuss, and agree on CAD drawings & parts tolerance with suppliers and translate engineering requests into SCM parameters for execution. How you’ll make an impact Function as bridge between R&D Engineering and SCM, integrating SCM insights into the development process to enhance cost, quality, and technology. Act as technical professional interface between the R&D Team and the SCM organization, ensuring that project information is adequately shared between the Project Team and the relevant SCM teams. Work according to the gate model, arranging project SCM gate meetings as required and creating and maintaining the project related SCM documents. Be responsible for initial cost and quality estimates and achieving product cost and quality targets. Work to optimize the cost and quality at all stages of the R&D projects, including investment and test costs. Work with the local SCM team and Category Managers to find new potential materials or new potential suppliers for critical parts. Select, together with the SCM partners, the R&D prototype suppliers, and final production material suppliers, in line with product cost requirements, product footprint requirements and SCM strategies, ensuring sustainable quality and cost. Manage directly with the suppliers for each project the ordering and on time delivery of the prototype parts, following project development and testing plan. Work to minimize the prototype and out-turn sample delivery time to reduce overall project timeline. The opportunity We are seeking a Project Documentation Manager to join our global project documentation team at HVDC. In this role, you will be responsible for Project Documentation Management in HVDC projects. You will be part of a project core team reporting directly to the Project Director. You are expected to ensure compliance with requirements and processes, while also monitoring and controlling the progress of documentation deliverables in the project. Additionally, you will coordinate with Project Document Control resources located in various global locations. Our department consists of other Project Documentation Managers, each working in HVDC EP/EPC tenders and projects.’ How you’ll make an impact Establishing processes for documentation management based on the HVDC base processes and adapted to fit contract requirements. Provide project team members with training and support to enable them to successfully follow the processes in the project. Controlling customer contracts and specifications, managing the requirements, calculating risks, making cost calculations and doing cost follow-up.
